    Guys, c'mon. Let's be serious for a moment here. The show is made by a cabal of witches hired by Hasbro who preform obscene rites under each new moon to create the hypnotic combination of colors which they then broadcast globally via the net under the guise of iTunes downloads and various "Fan" Youtube posters (who are in reality Hasbro Acolytes). The witches travel to the ethereal plane to rest every summer, as their power is weakest on the summer solstice (a time when their mortal enemies, the Dryad, are most powerful). Once the first leaves of autumn begin to fall and the Veil becomes weaker with the approach of All Hallows Eve, the Cabal return to their rituals and incantations again to bring about the new season of pony. As a closely guarded prophecy foretells, the number of hypnotized adults globally will reach into the billions by the 5th cycle. Hasbro will air a final 'broadcast' which will be a cleverly disguised subliminal message calling Hasbro's sleeper army to arms. With over 1 billion soldiers permeating every aspect of every society, government, and military; total global dominion will take only a matter of hours. The Dryads of Fox entertainment have been working feverishly to try and undermine Hasbro's plans, but they learned far too late to be effective at stopping it. Their resources are too few, and their hypnotic magic is much weaker than the Cabal of Hasbro. They well attempt to rally the unaffected during the summer seasons to come. And before the 5th cycle begins, there will be a battle of wills across the net for supremacy. Casualties will number in the thousands.

    I know! I have to admit, I foamed at the mouth a little when I saw it! It's a LITTLE frustrating though that a 15 minute 'goodnight tumblr' doodle done at 1 am got a feature, when my 4 hour Sweetybelle image that I myself submitted didn't... such is life I guess. Maybe they have some unwritten rule where self submissions aren't considered for a feature.

    I spent the evening tweaking my style a little. Trying out new ears and adding cheeks to forward perspective (okay so it’s more like 4/5 leave me alone!). Also trying a new way to do 1/2 perspective rather than drawing a circle, adding the nose and swooping down to form the jaw; drawing a circle, carving the nose inwards and collapsing the forhead. Featuring Rainbow Dash, Derpy, and Lyra. That uh… thing in the corner is sort of a measurement base I made for fun, the red circle is what I based the initial head circles on. Anyone’s free to take that line thing and practice on it. Black is for body and ears, blue is hair, green is accessory (horn/wings), and yellow is eye.

    I'll be honest, G1 was pretty darn good considering it was a gender stereotyped show in the 80s. I sat through the entire second movie and I gotta say, the Smooze is actually pretty freaky and has a fairly dark concept. Unstoppable tidal wave of sludge filled with swimming eyes and mouths that mockingly laugh at you as it carpets the world in impenetrable black tar? Not to mention any living thing it touches that doesn't get completely smothered to death is wrought with despair, anger, and hatred... Sounds like something Lovecraft would create. Pretty sure that's where Lauren got the inspiration for Discordification, by the way. She DID watch the old show after all. G4 is freaking amazing, but you gotta give credit to the roots, G1 was pretty darngood for what they had to work with and when it was made.

    So I sleep walk around a moving fan, down a ladder with 5 steps, and around the industrial fan sitting in the middle of my room between me and my closed door... Sounds legit.

    I sleep in a loft bed, which puts me 2 feet from the ceiling, half a foot from my turned on ceiling fan, and 6 feet from the floor. So if anything eventful DOES happen, I'd probably know about it instantly. Nothing ever does, so I'm pretty sure I sleep like a stone. Boring I know
