Hehe, yes, if you haven't noticed, the question "why" is possibly one of my favorite questions ever, that and "how". Great job on what you added about his sister being in the performance though; its little details like that that really can flesh out a character in amazing ways. And you are very much welcome!

Hello and Good Morning, Your character description is very... descriptive! Good work on that. Though, I do have a few questions about this application! How did Spotlight first become interested in the musical arts, particularly the creation of musical plays? You do a very good job of describing his passion- but I can't help but wonder: why is it his passion? What inspired him to be the great musical artist he is today? Why did he decide to write a musical performance? Again, you describe his passion well; but I'd like to know why this is his passion, what inspires him, etc. What drove him to specifically see a showing of young fillies performing a play? I understand that he was bored, but that is a fairly arbitrary thing to decide to do- is there any reason why he went to this particular performance? Oh, and one more thing. You have a slight typo here: However, other than the questions I asked and that slight grammatical error, this is a wonderful application and I would enjoy to Role-play with this interesting character!

Hello and Good Morning! I really enjoyed reading your application, but I do have a few questions. I'm really confused as to what this paragraph is trying to tell me. Is Lickety offering her to take over the shop? Why? I'm afraid this paragraph may need a bit of a re-working... its just leaving me overall confused. Your Cutie Mark story is really detailed! I'm not sure I have anything to point out in particular about it, other than one thing- you focused a lot of attention on that segment of the back-story, but the rest of it feels a bit lacking. Could you tell us more about her family maybe? Or maybe a bit more about her current life? Why did Lickety give up ownership of the shop? These are all questions to be considered. Whenever writing a back-story, it is a good idea to question everything you write; ask yourself why something is this way, or how, and so on. Also her personality seems a bit... odd to me. In one paragraph you state that she can be very pushy about selling her candy, but in the next, you claim she is polite- this seems a bit contradictory, as pushyness is generally considered rude behavior. What exactly pushes her to her limit and causes her to "crack"? How often does it happen? How radical of a change is it, and why does it happen? These of course are all just questions to consider. Your app is, overall, very good, and I look forward to Role-playing with your character sometime in the future!

Hello and Good Morning! Wow, your character is very unique indeed! I have just a few questions to ask. For starters, what were his parents actually like? Why, and how recently, did they retire? Does anyone else work at the saloon with Soft Rime, or does he run the entire place on his own? Other than that and a few grammar issues, this is a pretty solid application- just try to expand on the background a bit. When developing a character, it is often vital to bear the key questions in mind at all times: Who, what, why, where, when, and how. Asking yourself these questions can lead to an even deeper, richer back-story, with more details and as an effect, be more interesting! But as I said, it is a great application and I look forward to Role-playing with you.

It really depends. Any OCs I use in Role-plays or in Fan-fiction are very very rarely based on me, and even if they are, they tend to explore a particular part of my personality, rather than being based off of me as a whole. However, my personal OC is certainly based off of me, to the extent that his cutie mark represents my own passion.
