[colour=#800080]"You're doing AWESOME!!"[/colour] She told her friend with a reassuring smile. Bluemoon just seemed to happy swimming in her little circles, it was hard to say otherwise!! Slick asked if Shade could use a hoof, and thanked her for what she'd said.[colour=#800080] "Don't worry about it, Slick!!"[/colour] She nudged him back. [colour=#800080]"Well, it looks like-" [/colour] [colour=#0000CD]Sploosh!![/colour] A pony dropped down into the water, splashing her and her friends. The suddenness of the droplets startled her, causing Shade to let go of Bluemoon for a couple of seconds. [colour=#800080]Why does this keep happening to me?![/colour] She giggled, wondering what the odds could be of both this, and the similar occurence which had happened while she was trying to teach Gear to swim, happening in the same day. [colour=#800080]"No worries, Flashboaahhmm.." [/colour]She yawned alongside the scarred pony before she could finish saying his name, as if his yawn had been contagious.[colour=#800080] "It looks like most of the other ponies are heading back.. Think you guys are ready to call it a night?"[/colour] Shade was used to staying up preeetttyyyyy late, but something about laying down on the soft mattress, covered over with the warm blanket that was awaiting her in the cabin was sounding pretty appealing right then.

Hello, hello, scamps!! I can draw tomorrow as soon as I get home from school I'm sorry to hold everypony up! Browneh should have texted me I had a big speech to give at school, so I've been preparing hardcore the past couple of days. I gave it earlier, and it went really well btw ^^ But anyways, I'm back in action and ready to rock now!

((I'm not being myself at all!! I was a boring little goodie horseshoes irl!! How goes it, scamps? )) BZZT!! BZZT!! BZZT!! Star Storm covered her ears with her hooves. "Make it stooooopp!!!" She squealed. Grandma Storm obliged, turning off the alarm, though much slower than Star would have liked. She brought Star a plate of her favorite, chocolate pancakes and chocolate milk, and sat on the edge lightly. "Are you ready to start your first day of Ponyville school Angel?" "Not really.." Star wasn't very thrilled with having to leave her old life behind in Cloudsdale, but when the principal tells you he doesnt want to see your flank back in his school, there's not much else a filly can do. It was JUST a crush.. One innocent, little crush. She didn't do anything wrong!! But when rumors break out and your own friends don't even believe you, there's not much else a filly can do. Before long, however, her grandma gave her a big kiss on the forehead and her very own sack of lunch, and sent her on her way! The young Pegasus considered playing hookie, but being new in town, wouldn't know what to do. She was unusually quite for awhile after she got there. Star slouched in her seat, her short hooves almost being able to rest in the book holder under the seat of the kid in front of her. The boy next to her seemed pretty quiet too. Class had clearly started already, but Star figured that this kid didn't look like he'd be too annoying, and being new Star figured she could use a mate. "Heeyyyy!" She let out a harsh whisper towards the anti social colt in the corner. "Do you have a name?"

((Sorry scamps, I don't have any idea what happened to my computer but I do still have my phone to reply from!!)) Shade grinned from ear to ear as Slick ran off after spitting out a quick I love you to her. The fillies heart burst with glee watching her special somepony hop in the water, taking his guy friends down in with him. Violet came up, gasping for air. (Oh no!!) Shade thought to herself. (Violet can't swim yet!!) She got out of the water, wanting nothing more than to go back to the cabin. (Poor Vi.. Why couldn't I have taught her to swim when I was teaching Gear?! I should've called her over earlier and this whole incident would've been avoided) Music blasted suddenly! And, Shade loved it!! Without even looking, she knew it must be puzzle. If it was one thing that he was good at, it was partying. It was loud, but she liked it that way. She gave him a quick hoof pump in approval. Still, Shade was torn. Bluemoon was about to hop in, and acting as strange as she was Shade wanted to keep an eye her, just in case. At the same time, poor Violet!!! She couldn't let her go back all alone, especially after promising to go back with her if she got scared. And to make things worse, it looked like Pocket was starting to give Slick trouble, and Gear was over there too instigating the situation farther. Shade didn't know what to do! At all!! Flash followed after Violet, but as her best friend Shade couldn't NOT go, could she? Two of the problems were around the pool, and she could always catch up with Violet in a minute, so she made her way to the water, just sitting on the edge, dipping her back hooves in gently. "Hey Pocket.." she greeted gently, unsure of how to approach the situation. She didn't know exactly what was going on, but from the looks on everyone's faces, it wasn't hard to guess. "Its my fault, not Slicks" She looked over the moonlite water. Bluemoon seemed to be staying afloat, at least for the time being. Still, Shade's horn dimly glew the colour of her eyes, subtly helping Bluemoon stay afloat until she could get in the water with her. Usually, shed never be able to lift a whole pony, but in the water, the laws of gravity didn't seem to apply nearly as strongly. "Pocket, I should've been honest with you as soon as I started having second thoughts, and I'm really, really sorry" Shades voice was soft, hoping to at least help the situation a little. After a couple of moments, she lowered herself into the pond. "Bluemoon, come swim with me!!" She sounded playful, despite the heavy situation that had happened moments ago. She hoped that Violet was okay. And Bluemoon too!! Even though she was right here, she seemed a bit more distant than normal. Shade had no idea that alcohol was involved in any of this. Still, no need to let a few troubles spoil such a gorgeous night, right?!

Slick was being a sweetheart, reminding her that screaming at Broken just meant that she had Slick on her mind. ((That sounds really funny outof context XD)) It really WAS a pretty night! The bits of moonlight, the pretty flower things on the bushes, and the well lit sky above all together made something incredible."It sure is.." Shade could tell that her girl friends weren't necessarily acting themselves. She could tell by the way that Violet was looking at one of the bushes that she was still worried. (For all of the beauty in here, shes really seeing it as a place of darkness. It could be viewed a lot of ways through other's eyes I guess. Its even a place of adventure for some) She thought, glancing at Knight. She didn't even know what was happening with the other one! She was stumbling around a lot, bumping into her and Violet both. "Are you okay, Blue moon? Its kind of hard to see in here.. If you need a pony to lean on, I'm right here." It wasn't THAT hard to see, though... (Maybe she's supposed to wear glasses or whatever) Slick complimented her appearance, and asked if she did something new with her mane. She laughed sweetly. "Yes I did! Earlier today I submerged only half of it in saltwater teaching a pony how to swim. Thank you for noticing" She was kidding, but the way she said her last sentence would make it hard to tell if you didn't hear the rest. Shade thought Slick and his nervous habits were the cutest thing she ever did see! "I'm fine, Slick. Actually, I'm feeling really good right now!" She bumped into him when Bluemoon bumped into her, and then just giggled. "How are you tonight?" The gang soon came to a waterfall. Could this place BE any prettier?! The red sand back on the beach, the illuminated forest, and now a waterfall? "Woooowww," she gazed up at the marvelous cliff, water flowing down and crashing between a few large, dark rocks, enough settling down in the rocky bowl below to create a spacious swimming hole before flowing on over to travel down the earth again. "We should TOTALLY go skinny dipping night swimming!!"

((Sorryyyyy scamps!!!! I had to give a speech (which went awesome) and I had a BIG homework assignment irl, and my teacher didn't even grade it today like she was supposed to!! ;~; The woods? Oh what a grand idea!!! This is going to be AWESOME AS A POSSUM, SCAMPS!!)) Getting lifted by Violet and plopped out by Bluemoon, Shade's two best friends were giving her the extra push she needed to get out. Hooray for friendship!! She flopped down into the cool sand, tummy first. Shade pushed herself up, shaking the fall off. Violet followed, and was soon conversing with Knight. [colour=#800080]Aww, go Vi!![/colour] Seeing Violet talk to her crush made Shade think of her own special somepony.[colour=#800080] "I SO thought broken was gonna be you. I didn't mean to scream like that at all!"[/colour] She giggled, forgetting to be quiet. Blizzy suggested exploring the nearby woods, a bittersweet expression stuck itself onto Shade's face. She was looking forward to the adventure of it! But, at the same time, she was worried about getting lost (I don't plan for us to get separated here haha she's just bad with direction), but with a whole group and her new special somepony by her side, she was feeling confident! She noticed that her purple friend wasn't so eager, however. [colour=#800080]"Don't worry Violet! With Knight and Slick along, I'm sure we'll be just fine!!... Hey Knight! Do you have your sword?" [/colour]Shade didn't expect a situation to come up where he would have to use it, but having a pony with a sword in the group just seemed to make the adventure even more exciting to her for some reason. [/colour]She answered Puzzle's question, knowing that Violet didn't want to go in very far, but in order for Puzzle to play it as loud as before without everypony getting busted, they would have to go in pretty deep. [colour=#800080]"Let me know if you start getting scared, Violet, and I'll turn back with you" [/colour](again, she's bad with direction and would probably just get the two separated from the group and lost XD) Shade slowly began trotting towards the dark woods. Shade took a mental picture, planning how she would describe the scene in her diary once they got back. It was so strange, but so fascinating! The million stars above light up the sky, yet the leaves of the trees shaded the majority of the ground, causing the effect of a few thin beams of moon and star light in otherwise darkness. Entering, Shade stayed close by Slick, observing the shadows that were cast on the dirt ground.

((Alright, now it's a party!!!! Haha, we're such bad little kiddos!!!! ...that awkward moment when you type a reply on your phone and then check a text and your words go poof causing you to rage quit over to your nice little laptop who loves you very much and would never do such a thing... c: )) Dear Diary, Today has been filled with many firsts, mixed feelings, and one EPIC mess in a gas station! The good far outweighs the bad of today, however. Today I left with Ms. Black and the school to Red Rock. Things were beginning to get out of hoof afte Hearing the unmistakeable knocking of a colt at the window, Shade magically floated her pen down over her dark, studded diary, cleverly slipping her book of secrets under her pillow for safekeeping until she could finish the day's entry. She'd HATE to have ANYPONY find out about that super embarrassing blind date she'd once went on where she spilled a soda all over the poor, nervous little colt, or the time she accidentally used the wrong locker room, that time she'd called her english teacher Daddy, her crush a couple of years back who she THOUGHT was a boy, and it would be ESPECIALLY terrible for anypony to read about the day when she went to that Scribbles concert and- Oh wait! She'd already told that story on the bus!! [colour=#800080] It's him!! Oh my gosh, it's him!! [/colour]The corners of her mouth turned up, expecting her prince in shining armor to be at the window. She fixed her mane with her hoof real quick and trotted to it. She slid it open to see some strange colt who she'd yet to meet. [colour=#800080]"Aaaahh!!"[/colour] She screamed only a couple inches from his face, caught completely off guard. [colour=#800080]"....I'm sorry!! I guess I was just sort of expecting somepony else..." [/colour]There was clear disappointment in her sound. Looking out of the window, she noticed after a minute that the mysterious colt wasn't alone. [colour=#800080]Oh great, Slick prolly just saw my fail!![/colour] [colour=#800080]"One sec.." [/colour]She directed her attention to the rest of the cabin.[colour=#800080] "Hey girls!! The colts are here!! Who wants to sneak?"[/colour] Shade attempted to hoist herself up the window, but couldn't quite make it. [/colour]Shade couldn't help feel embarrassed, most fillies her age would likely be able to pull themselves up and hop out with ease!

[/colour]She quickly checked off everypony's name on her clippy board and headed out the door. Aaaaannnddd, the coast was clear!! Shade sighed a sigh of great relief, like one would do after finally being able to go potty after a 5 hour bus ride. [colour=#800080]"Thank! You! Violet!! That was a close one!!"[/colour] Shade giggled, recent events still fresh in her mind. [colour=#800080]"So yeaaahhh, we sort of just kissed.."[/colour] She was much quieter about it this time when telling her friends, hoof over her muzzle.

((Yeah, there have been a few instances that I remember in which mics were used in the show, so they should be allowed in woe just fine ^^)) Windwalker told Fresco all about her brother who, from the sounds of it, had the same passion for acting that Fresco herself had. She laughed out at his silly story of his brother being in character, even at home. [colour=#ff0000]"What a goofball!! He sounds like a BUCKET of good times" [/colour]The filly occasionally liked to make up little words and phrases. She hadn't any idea what bucket of good times could mean, but her words just sorta spilled out that way. [colour=#ff0000]Hopesong actually LIVES in the mountains like camping..? She must have one REEAALLYYY big tent!![/colour] Being the people person ponies pony that she was, the thought of a house being build up on top of a mountain just didn't make much sense in Fresco's mind, despite some woodsy homes being in stories that she'd heard in the past. Why would anypony build a house so far away from other ponies? Silt said that he would teach her how to duggie do the spell, but warned her that he wasn't a very good teacher. Fresco, of course, didn't mind. [colour=#ff0000]"That would be AWESOME!! You can show me later. Do they always appear in your mane like that or could you make a flower appear in your mouth?" [/colour]In the event of an audience throwing roses at her, she thought that it would be a really neat little trick. Fresco turned her attention to the stage as soon as the first instructor set her hoof down onto it. Unlike her usual loud, excitable self, she sat with a quiet focus, ready to take in what was about to happen. She had learned that the audience is what really matters during a show. If you're on stage and doing awesome but nopony's really interested in you.. Then what's the point? Spin Art, although her intro was short and not super informative, was Fresco's favorite! So far, at least!! Razor seemed protectively intimidating, but for some reason, Fresco really liked that about him. Not because of the fact that he had probably just stricken fear into the hearts of the colts who dared get close to his little sister, but because it gave him so much more character in her mind.

She could see Flash walking by behind them, but her mind was much to occupied to think anything of it. Shade opened her mouth to speak, but no words came out. Instead, before even stopping to think about it, she found herself leaning closer. Her nose lightly pressed to his, his eyes seemingly more beautiful than ever before, before she could wrap her mind about the idea of it, it happened! She met his lips with her own, heart pounding. It was little more than a peck, and only lasted a few short seconds, but was still the single most magical moment of the young filly's life. She quietly admired him for a long moment, studying his handsome face. The theoretical doves in her tummy felt like they had gained at least 20 pounds!! Finally, she spoke up. [colour=#800080]"..I'll see you tonight" [/colour]She looked back twice on her short walk to the door, grinning from ear to ear both times seeing Slick still there. She opened the door, but had to say ONE last thing before parting. [colour=#800080]"..And Slick? Don't you worry your pretty little head about all that drama stuff! I'm sure everything will work out just awesome, for us and Pocket both" [/colour]One last little grin later, she was in the door!! It had been a long day, but Shade wasn't ready to turn in yet. Besides, she needed to keep an eye on the window!! [colour=#800080]"Hey Bluemoon!! Are you still down for sharing a bed tonight?"[/colour] Shade greeted her buddy, obvious joy in her voice. And you too cuz you're here!!"[/colour] She giggled, pointing at Bluemoon's newest friend Blizzy. She started to say something, but went into a gigglefit. [colour=#800080]"Okay, okay," [/colour]she breathed out, attempting to regain her composure. [colour=#800080]"So, what happened was.."[/colour] She clenched her teeth to keep any more giggles in. Shade could hardly contain it!! The door opened, a larger pony stood outlined by inside lights. [colour=#008080]"Hey guys, just doin some cabin checks! Is everypony here?"[/colour] Clickclickclickclickclick! Miss Licorice clicked her clicky pen unnecessarily a few times while scanning the room, just because clicky pens are fun.

He told her that it wasn't her fault, and reassured her that everything would soon be okay. Gear was talking to Pocket, and Slick had faith in him. Shade believed in him too. Slick suggested heading back to the cabins, which, seeing as how late it was getting, was probably a good idea. He said that he planned on sneaking out that night and seeing her in the fillies' cabin.[colour=#800080] "You're the best, Slick. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for you tonight."[/colour] She smiled at him warmly, feeling mighty better! [colour=#800080]"Walk with me back to the cabins?"[/colour] She ran her tail along his side, starting to head that direction [colour=#008080]"WHATTA YA THINK YOU'RE DOING, YOUNG MAN?!"[/colour] The teacher burst in the door, almost louder than the music. Uh oh, BUSTED! Brought down by the man! Er, woman, that was.[colour=#008080] "Puzzlebeat!! We're not the only one's staying here right now you know. Other ponies are trying to sleep!!"[/colour] If it had been earlier, Miss Licorice wouldn't have thought anything of it. Music was fun!! But at night over a loudspeaker? Not so good! [colour=#008080]"Outside, follow me." [/colour]She said matter o factly, expecting him to be right behind her exiting the structure. [colour=#008080]"We're really not supposed to be in there, you know.."[/colour] Miss Licorice knelt down to her student's level. [colour=#008080]"Hey, it's okay."[/colour] She gave him a reassuring smile, hoping they could end this encounter on a good note. Room checks are in 10 minutes, let everypony know for me okay?" [/colour]While most teachers would have flipped out over something like that, she was letting him off the hook!
