Everytime I look on the news and read about some chemical that poisons the enviroment, or a species going extinct, I sometimes wonder if it is responsbile to even have children. To me I think its a cruel thing to bring a child into a world that will be completely devoid of any beauty in it.

Yeah, probably. And not just this status. But the root problems are: 1) I can be a jerk, 2) there is no 'edit' feature on status entries, 3) our media paints a negative picture of the outlook even though the world is getting better.

Some social and cultural items I've always wondered on for mlp. How long do they live normally? Equestria merges with our world via portal. Humans and Ponies get along great. Pony comes to visit earth and stays with a human friend. Hears it will rain later in the afternoon on the news. Goes out in the mid morning for a jog, by 9am it starts to rain. Pony comes back home drenched and not pleased. Sends a letter to the weather channel that says, "Next time make sure your weather team sets the clouds on the right time, it was suppose to rain at 12 not 9.

Patrick: I personally dislike the idea of Twilight becoming an Alicorn. Does any pony know if it's been confirmed yet? Anyway... she's already "ahead" of the other 5 mane ponies... and I personally don't think she should be even more "ahead" than she already is. If she does become an Alicorn... I hope for the show's sake they can keep up the ratings and the quality of the show content.
