Hello, everypony. MasterMustang here to get a breath of fresh nostalgia. Wow... it's been a long time. Lots of memories. Most good... some bad... This place was such a great experience for me. Roleplaying here was the most fun I had. Contributing to and feeding off the great aura of creativity is still something I cannot describe. I can say with a full heart that I miss you all. Sadly, I have fallen out of the fandom as a whole and moved on but that doesn't mean I don't like MLP anymore. I still and always will appreciate it for the art and subtle philosophical wonder that is a great show. I may be a former brony officially but I guess that stuff never truly leaves you... just like the memories I had with you all.
Catching up:Since my absence I have been quite busy with life. Lots of bad with lots of good. Faced several emotionally traumatic events as well as some heart warming fun moments. Lots of stories to share. I changed my major of study from Secondary Education to Chemical Processing. Turns out teaching in the normal sense was not the path meant for me. I then chose a career path that rewarded my father greatly and am now following his example. I just have one year left of school! HURRAY!!! After that it will be off to my career and maybe some more time for other things with it (perhaps this place). I've gotten into cosplaying since my absence. I attended Youmacon in Detroit, MI, which was my first con ever. It was fanastic!!! (I HAVE PICTURES!!! lol) I am attending this year again. I am currently making a genderbent cosplay of Yang Xiao Long from RWBY. It is going to be my pride and joy. I'm so excited! I've gotten a lot better at playing Magic: the Gathering too. I've made 15 EDH decks and have several more projects on the way to being built. On a sour note, some of my companions have created quite a bit of drama in our MTG group so I sadly had to leave. I've learn to distance myself from poisonous environments even if the people themselves are not. It's a shame but something I think may fix itself eventually.
I apologize if this seems rather scatter-brained. I'm just writing down my thoughts as they unfold themselves onto this keyboard. I just really wanted to pop in this summer and say hello to all my old friends like StarStorm, Scythe, Valencetiger, and BrainedBySaucepans (thanks so much for my avatar again! you are great!).
I also would like to take the time to pay my respects to a friend that I/we lost. Dusk was such a good friend and RP'er. She was so sweet and listened to me when I was going through my rough patch. I'm sure she is happy with you all right now. I can feel it. Dusk, I miss you, mate.

Hi there, welcome back! I actually -do- remember you, and yes, it has been quite a while. Also I am sorry to hear about Dusk, I don't remember if that was a thing that was going on back then or if it's more recent. I know someone passed several years ago and that might have been her? Anyway, I think the fandom as a whole has died down a bit. We have a tight community here that still appreciates the ponies. I've personally felt my fervor for the franchise dim, but I still watch FiM and appreciate the characters and friends I've made because of it. If you want to roleplay again, you'll see a lot has changed, and characters you may want to play are more accessible than ever. Have fun!

I remember you as well. I believe we roleplayed a couple years back. I think it was the Revolution RP. That was my favorite one. All the action, drama, and gritty dark atmosphere... so cool! About Dusk, yeah, it was a couple years ago as well. It was such a shame. I'm glad to see someone familiar still here. I have notice that the fandom has declined over the years but some have kept strong. I cosplay with this Halo group based in the Midwest, The Misfits. There group within us that actually made MLP themed Spartan armor. You may have heard of them, Fire Team Harmony. They are super talented cosplayers, look them up! Anyways, yeah! I would like to get back into RP'ing but I have no idea where to start again. It's like having to learn how to ride a bick again. lol -
Howdy! You may not remember my name, but I can recall yours, hehe. I also remember BBS, he was definitely a fun guy. Shame we haven't seen him around in years. Anywho, since Open RP threads can be rather hard to come by, I suggest the best way to start again is by asking us to add you to our Roleplay Chat on Skype, and then take things from there.

It took me many years to comfortable with being single. What changed is that I don't measure my value by how people see me anymore. I understand that we all have value, and dating or being married doesn't change that. Furthermore, I hang out with people that let me into their family, and their kids call me "uncle", and that helps. I still long for a wife to share life with and kids of my own, but it doesn't drive or distract me anymore.
