  1. Envy apples, huh? Interesting, not sure he’d heard of those before. Then again, not like he knew the names to that many varieties anyways. He looked them over a bit until he heard his name, bringing his gaze back towards the mare as she spoke. “Why? Not sure, really. Don’t think I asked, and don’t remember them offering the info. Maybe they were just trying to make it sound fearsome, I grew up in a very arena-centric place after all, fights happened all the time in there.” Tiger shrugged, reminiscing about his hometown a bit as he dug out the money and laid it on the counter. “I’m from Hesperia, things are a bit different there.”
  2. such a good griff. Good job, Foxxy!
  3. I've got two accepted changeling characters, I believe, one reformed and one unreformed. Neither are part of any real hives, though the unreformed one is in charge of a ninja clan that has a large part of their population as changelings. Not that anyone really knows that, but still.
  4. Liviel giggled slightly at the mare's reaction, smiling as she finally introduced herself as Sunset Shimmer. The dog listened as Sunset explained what she knew already, which wasn't that deep of an understanding if she was understanding it right. Still, it was a better start than from the beginning, she supposed. "While it is true that draconic creatures such as qilin enjoy more of a benefit from the teachings of the path than others, that does not preclude others from following the lifestyle if they so wish. Likewise, anyone can study the knowledge of Equestrian magic without the ability to cast magic. They simply study it for the desire of knowledge, as those without breath magic follow the path for the opportunity to better their lifestyles. Overall, it is about cultivating positive emotions and activities, helping those around you."
  5. Tehengu nodded at Ice’s explanation, somewhat impressed by what she had managed to build since then. It sounded like an impressive force, to say the least. He also nodded to her suggestion of taking this conversation somewhere more private, like her ship. Before he could vocalize any agreement with that though, the dragon addressed him, drawing the griffon’s attention. “If by official capacity you mean I have the authority to speak for the griffons, then no. I have not been a part of the griffon nation for years now, I just happen to be here on a trip.” Tehengu said, nodding to the dragon. “So, I suppose it is more the latter then unless something happens to bring me in in an official capacity.”
  6. "Name's Tiger Blood. Just call me Tiger, if you want." He smiled at her as he introduced himself, his gaze moving over to the various apples still ready for sale after a moment. Well, there certainly was still plenty to choose from. Hmm, what to do, what to do... After a moment of contemplation, he nodded to one of the red varieties, though his gaze shifted down to the apples on AJ's flanks as he spoke. "Those red ones look pretty tasty to me, I'll take some of those." He said, his gaze shifting back up towards her head as he gave a confident smile. This mare really was quite the specimen, she'd probably had given the champions a run for their money if she had grown up in his hometown. Maybe before his brother and him had taken that spot, trading back and forth, but she'd have been a worthy contender for sure.
  7. A joint base between Equestria and Aquilla? That sounded rather interesting, and was likely a rather good idea. The best way to operate in another non-hostile country without it being secret would be to go into a joint venture with them, usually. He nodded as Ice talked about the base, humming slightly to himself as he did so. Maybe this was something he could help with, in some fashion... ”Hmm?” He asked as Ice spoke to him, drawing him out of his thoughts. “Likewise. Looks like you’ve upgraded since then. As for your ideas here, I think they are solid. Gaining a base out here and the trust of the griffons by allowing them to use it in kind, I think this base is a good plan.”
  8. Liviel smiled slightly as she heard someone approaching, keeping her eyes closed for now until the mare spoke up and asked her a question. The dog considered her options for a few moments, but decided not to tease the mare. Opening her eyes, the dog smiled at Sunset, nodding to her questions. "Yes, I suppose I am. My name Is Liviel Mizu, it is a pleasure to meet you. I assume you are also here for the class? If so, welcome! I am happy to see that you are willing to learn what I have to teach." With that done, Liviel stood up, bowing in greeting to the unicorn mare. "Tell me, miss, what do you know of the Harmonious Paths? Knowing what you already know can help to focus on what you do not yet know." She said, looking around briefly to see if she could catch sight of anyone else approaching the area.
  9. I'm always up for more rp too! Got a log full of character possibilities to choose from, so let me know if one catches your eye! I feel you on the not using characters though, there are some in there I've only used once or twice, and there might be some that haven't seen any action in rp yet.
  10. "I mean, I doubt the castle itself is flammable, just the stuff inside it. So it might be best to just contain it to that one room, let it burn itself out." Angel shrugged, looking back at the castle for a moment. "Or we could do options one and two at the same time, there are four of us here after all, we could split up." With that suggestion made, she at least moved off to contain the fire, letting them decide if they were going to actually stick around to fight the blaze. She was confident it wouldn't actually burn down the castle, castles were tough. Stone castles wouldn't burn down, let alone this crystal place.
  11. Tehengu hummed to himself as he listened to the two speak, not sure how to feel about Ice's idea. He may live in Equestria now, and has taken part in part of their military, but he started in the griffon nation. Granted, his experience in Equestrian military was as part of a secret part doing covert missions, but that wasn't all that different from his time in the griffon military, so he was used to it. The one-eyed griffon looked back and forth between them, remaining silent as he had nothing to really contribute to this discussion at the moment. Or he didn't really think he did anyways.
  12. Angel raised an eyebrow at Jasper’s reaction, but decided to leave it be for now. As for Iggy’s words, that was fine. “Just let me know if you want me along when the time comes, I guess. No promises I’ll be around if I don’t have advance warning though.” She shrugged, looking over at Iggy again.
  13. Tehengu hummed slightly as the dragon seemed to make the first move and start a conversation with Ice. For now, the griffon walked closer to the two, staying out of the conversation as it went back and forth about the likelyhood of getting mugged due to Ice's outfit, and honestly it could go either way. The desperate or foolish might see her as a more lucrative target and be more willing to try it, but Ice was probably right that it would scare away the smarter ones. The griffon, for his part, was also wearing armor. It was a simpler affair, something you would expect from someone who did most of his fighting from a distance or on the move, so a lighter armor. His bow and sword were strung across his back for now, though never far from being at the ready. "Prosperity? I'm sure they'd appreciate the chance to bring this place back up to a better position. What did you have in mind?" He asked, looking over at the fellow soldier. "My name is Tehengu, nice to meet you." He added, mostly to the dragon.
  14. "Heh, that's cool. Glad I could find some kindred spirits around here." Angel smiled, looking back up towards the clouds. This had been a pretty fun day so far, all things considered. "Sounds interesting, figuring out the Everfree and stuff. I can probably help out in places if need be."
  15. Angel chuckled to herself as the three finished their little exchange, looking over to see Jasper pouting like Iggy had done. “Hey, nothing wrong with that I say. I like to do some treasure hunting myself, so I’m with you.” She said, smiling at them.
  16. “Divination, huh? Alrighty then, guess it’s fine.” Angel shrugged, laying down entirely to watch the sky some more. “Now that that’s all figured out, anyone want to do anything else? I didn’t have plans for the day to begin with, but who knows when an adventure will pop up for me to run off on. What do you guys even do for a living?”
  17. “Well, glad that worked out.” Angel smiled, leaning back to relax a bit. That hadn’t exactly been her intention, but hey, it worked. “That’s that then, any ideas on what that spell did, now that we know it’s not any sort of plague?” She asked, looking over at Iggy.
  18. Well, this place had seen better days, that was for sure. It had been far too long since he had visited his homeland, and Tehengu had decided this was as good a place as any to start his little tour. It seemed he wasn’t the only one, as he soon enough spotted Ice Storm walking down the road. She was an old... acquaintance of his? Perhaps that was the right term for it from the EPIC days. For now, the griffon stayed where he was, standing along the path in front of her and wondered if she would recognize him in turn.
  19. Angel sighed again and rolled her eyes at Jasper and Cloudy’s act, looking over at the guards for a moment before stepping forward. “Well? Go on then, go tell Twilight, I’m sure she’ll be more forgiving than you think. In any case, those two knuckleheads had nothing to do with it, so leave them alone.” She said, gesturing towards her two male friends with that end part.
  20. “I... unlocked it? I’ve seen doors like this before, it’s easy from the inside.” Angel said, tilting her head at Iggy. Lots of doors had ways to lock or unlock without a key from inside the room. In any case, she turned her attention to the scene before them and chuckled slightly, shaking her head. “You guys having fun?”
  21. “Ah, maybe we should just use the door.” Angel said as she saw the magic charging up. Flying over towards the door, she began pushing it open, leading Iggy out towards the others. She really didn’t want them in more trouble than they were already in, and a fiery explosion near other ponies would likely do that.
  22. Angel chuckled slightly at the timing, holding Iggy until the kirin felt good enough to break it herself. She kinda wanted to go save the others, but she was already here saving Iggy, so one thing at a time. She wasn't really looking forwards to facing those guards or whatever, but she did want to help out Cloudy and Jasper.
  23. Liviel sat on the top of a hill nearby Ponyville, meditating in preparation for the little class she would be teaching soon. She liked teaching others, actually. It was nice to pass on her knowledge and skills to help others. It made her consider settling down somewhere, to have a more consistent group of students. The diamond dog eventually got up, heading towards the field she had set up in. It was a nice day, so she was going to have this class outside, to enjoy the nature around her while she taught others about the Harmonious Path and perhaps some self-defense techniques. Either way, the dog set her naginata down against a tree for now, sitting down on a blanket that had been set out as she awaited the arrival of the class for the day. In the meantime, she went back to meditating and enjoying the sounds of nature.
  24. Angel fell silent, transitioning to a full hug when she felt the tears. She patted the kirin on the back a couple times to try and comfort her. “Hey, it’s fine, everyone makes mistakes. All this is just stuff, no pony got hurt. Just learn from the mistake and do better next time, that’s all anyone can ask for.” She said softly, holding the hug longer.
  25. "Well, when I talked to her earlier, she seemed to have nothing but positive things to say about you. Something about seeing herself in you, I think." Angel said gently, still holding the kirin in the little sideways hug thing she had started. Hopefully she could pull Iggy out of this little funk, maybe keep the lesson about using fiery teleports, especially into flammable areas.
