I'd have to go with Applejack and not because she's my favorite character. Okay partly that. But on a ground race I doubt Rainbow Dash would be as fast as Applejack, who's spent her whole life on the ground and seems quite athletic.

This site has actually introduced me to these tumblr blogs. I really like some of the ones I've seen (Trollestia is great and so is Pinkamena) and it's fun to watch them. Also a Luna tumblr? *thinks of questions to ask*

Someone started a thread on a Sonic forum I visit and I was like, "WTF you guys smoking?" I didn't have any plans of watching the show but kept up with the chatter, genuinely intrigued by the notion that a bunch of guys would enjoy a show known for being incredibly girly. Them someone linked me to some fan remixes, namely Golden Cupcakes (for those who don't know, Daft Punk mixed with Cupcakes) and I was hooked. I listened to the song about every day before the guy showed me Super Ponybeat, which I promptly downloaded. It took a couple more weeks but I ended up checking out the show around the time episode 24 aired and of course liked it. And that's how Equestria was made.

Aw, not even gonna give us a chance? Oh well, come back any time you feel like you want to play with us 'little ponies' fellow parasprite brony lover.

Coincidentally, my grandmother Irene is in the path of the hurricane. ... I have had great difficulty restraining myself from making jokes of the fact. But in all seriousness I hope everyone stays safe. I'm sure many will be out of power and might deal with some flooding or downed trees, so my thoughts go out to you all.

Let's see... I was playing video games back when I was 2 so the SNES ad Genesis were my consoles. If I wasn't playing Super Mario World or Sonic and Knuckles I was watching my parents play them. I also have fond memories of Sonic Spinball, Mario All Stars, and Magical Quest starring Mickey Mouse. Good times...

Discord's probably going to be a one-shot villain like Nightmare Moon. I really just expect him to show up and do evil things with the vaguest of reasons why. "I'm evil because Princess Celestia wouldn't let me practice dark magic!" or something. ... or. OR. Discord just couldn't let disco die. Everywhere he went he fought tooth and hoof to bring disco back, but to no avail. Eventually everypony in Equestria begged Celestia to get rid of him, and she complied by sealing him in stone. Every pony rejoiced and they all moved onto the 80s.

I didn't feel it but I have several family members up in MD who said they felt it. Apparently no one was hurt and nothing was damaged though, so I'm thankful for that.

I'm not too much of an anime fan but I enjoy a couple here and there. Sgt. Frog is a fun little show that I've only seen the first season of from Funimation. I like One Piece but it's almost impossible to keep up with (I'm waaay behind on that) and I just recently got into Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood. And of course the anime to top all anime, Gurren Lagann.

Not entirely sure if this counts... but the guys from the TV show Top Gear blogged about ponies. I only know this because some of my friends who apparently watch the show spotted it.

I'm pretty sure this info was deconfirmed as a hoax. But you know what I want from the new season? An extended fight scene with the bad guy. Last time we basically had 'TASTE THE RAINBOW' and that was it. This time I actually want to see some fighting, even if it's just a minute or two's worth against Discord. He doesn't even have to be a reoccurring villain or anything.

That's why I said a lot of it and not all of it. There are a handful of modern metal bands I like (mostly because I have a friend who's really into the stuff and always tries to find metal bands that I'll actually like, to varying results). For instance, I've heard Ayreon and Sonata Arctica before, and thought they were pretty cool. I think I'll give those others a listen and see if they work for me too. I was just generalizing, as I've heard a lot more modern metal that I did not like than I did. I'd recommend Skiltron too. An Argentinian Celtic Metal band I just discovered. They rock the bagpipes.

I've been suffering from insomnia recently, I just lie in bed and have a bajillion thoughts tumble through my head. I try to focus by plugging in my MP3 and listening to quiet songs until I fall asleep. If I'm working on a story I can plan out the next chapter in my head; I always get my best ideas when I'm half asleep. If all else fails I just take some Tylenol PM and conk out.

Most definitely Fluttershy. I'd say Pinkie Pie, but really you just ship her with every pony.

Ah, that's a perfect size! I probably won't be able to find it until Christmas time nears since we don't have any special American Greetings stores in the area. Hopefully it'll pop up at Target or one of the local dollar stores so I can snatch it up.

Nice to see other Dr. Who fans here! I'm quite excited for for the new episode to premiere, this is the first time I can watch the show along with everyone else since I'm now caught up on the new series. Fave animated show... that still comes on TV... would be Phineas and Ferb. Very good cartoon, I'm going to assume everyone has at least heard of the show. Excellent music, decent animation, smart and witty writing and not afraid to parody itself. Haven't seen the movie yet but I'm excited for it. There's a lot of shows that don't come on any more that I enjoy watching; I've got a plethora of 90s cartoons like Tiny Toons, Animaniacs, Ducktales, Rescue Rangers, and the like. I was also a big fan of Lost, that was probably the show that I obsessed with the most until the rage-inducing finale.

I'm eagerly awaiting for one of these to show up way down here. What I really want to know is how large is this ornament? Is it fairly small or pretty big?

I saw the spoilers through EqD. It actually sounds really cool, and pretty dark. If that really is the storyline then I'm even more hyped for the new season.

I thought they were saying the 17th? I have to say though, whenever it comes out, I'm looking forward to it. This Discord guy sounds really interesting! Most new shows on all networks premiere in the Fall. I thought we'd have to wait until December too before remembering that.

Hmm, I hide it from some people. My extended family has no clue of my broniness. I got my little brother and sister to watch the show so I don't have to hide it from them (they love it by the way). My Mom... I don't hide it from her but she doesn't really like it. I suppose she thinks it's like the show she watched as a little girl, so she she thinks it's weird a guy my age would like it. My internet friends, don't hide it from them but they probably wish I would. Don't really talk about MLP to them because they don't like it. So I've been looking for some fellow bronies to talk to and found this place!

Surely I'll try to refrain from making Airplane! references in your presence JJJ. Welcome other new guy!
