  1. Willow Whisper panted, and slowed her gallop to a walk. The pudgy pony dressed as a crocodile wasn't used to hauling tail like that, but Nightmare Moon's toothy grin was a good motivator. "Too many cookies..." She murmured, drooping her ears, and dropping her head as she came to a standstill in the magic path. The mare's ears flicked as someone or something giggled in the darkness off the path, and she glanced in that direction warily. The natural residents of Everfree were many, and some were more terrifying than others. Some of the things that lived here were smarter than others too, and she wasn't sure she wanted a part of anything that could laugh at her before eating her. She edged away from that side of the path, and trotted forward. Some of these sounds could just be another part of the spell on the path. Just another spell. She looked back over her shoulder as she continued, and hoped some of the other ponies she'd met on the path would catch up. Nightmare Moon couldn't have eaten all of them...
  2. "Confidence is overrated! Run for your lives!" Willow Whisper whinnied in surprise and not entirely unjustified terror at the sudden appearance of the mythical mare. The unicorn mare scrambled clumsily away from the frightful apparition, and galloped with her stuffed crocodile tail flailing behind her, further along the lanterned path into Everfree forest.
  3. School during the day. In the evening I'm throwing a small party for me and a small circle of friends that will include many delicious dessert foods, a scary movie, and I will DMing a spooky D&D game for them. Pathfinder's Carrion Crown adventure path.
  4. Willow Whisper had quickly realized after her fall that the ghost was really just a little filly in a Nightmare Night costume. Blushing and laughing, she gladly accepted the little ponies help, despite being much taller and heavier. Here was a much younger pony, so much braver than she was. "Haywire, huh? I must have been a little haywire myself..." She gasped through her deep laughter, and lifted a hoof to her broad chest to feel the slowing beat of her heart. "Oh mare. I never knew a bedsheet could be so scary." The unicorn mare perked her head as two more ponies arrived in short succession. A mysterious looking pony wreathed in white flame, which was both a very impressive spell and costume. The other was dressed as a werewolf, also an awesome costume. "Hey. Nice to meet you mares. I'm Willow Whisper." She smiled, glad for as much company as possible on this most spooky of nights. "I love Everfree. So many trees." The mare said, taking in a deep breath and enjoying the smell of the plants and night flowers. "It's dangerous, yeah, but if we stick together, most of the other creatures that live here shouldn't bother us. Easier to eat a single pony than four, right?" She grinned, and turned to gaze out into the forest in the direction Haywire shouted. "It's all about confidence..." The unicorn seemed to either have completely forgotten her scare earlier, or was tactfully choosing not to bring it up.
  5. Willow Whisper was glad to be home. Her business trip to Fillydelphia had been both successful and fun, but she would never miss one of Ponyville's most famous and candy-filled holidays! The stout unicorn mare lived in a cottage at the edge of Everfree, and was more comfortable in the forest than most city ponies. However tonight, maybe it was just the chill in the are or the holiday itself, but the surrounding trees and foliage seemed positively spooky. She shivered as she trotted through the thick foliage, and lit her way through the darkness with the dark eerie green glow surrounding her horn. The spell had a peculiar effect with her grinning crocodile costume, making it look as though the scaley beast had its mouth agape and full of green flame. She was looking for Discord's path, but the trees seemed to swallow up any light other than her own. The large mare quickened her pace, only a little, sure that she would see the path any moment now. "Heh, maybe I shouldn't have taken this shortcut..." She murmured quietly in her deep voice, and her normally half-lidded sleepy eyes were growing wider and wider with alarm. She, perhaps unwisely, wasn't truly afraid of Everfree, but what she was afraid of was something that was said visited Equestria on this night, and especially Everfree. Ghosts. Willow Whisper felt her hair coat stand on end underneath her costume, and something snapped a branch off to her right. She whinnied, reared up on her hind legs, and pawed the air with her broad clydesdale hooves before taking off forward in blind gallop. The desperate move payed off as soon she saw glowing lights ahead, surely somepony on the Discord trail, and she headed toward the light in the dark gratefully. That was how, in a charging crash of broken branches, and an eerie green glow, a large pony sized crocodile with an open mouthful of green light burst out onto the path infront of Haywire. The unicorn paused where she was, legs shaking, and took a deep breath. She turned her head to look at the pony that had saved her simply by lighting the path, meaning to thank them. It was a ghost. Willow Whisper gave a whinnying shout of fear, and turned to try and flee away from the tiny apparition down the lantern-lit path. Yet somehow she got the long scaly tail of her costume tangled around her hooves, and she tripped and sprawled crocodile mask first in the loamy dirt.
  6. That Phoenix Wright image is glorious. I also really think they should cast appropriately for movies like this. I dont want this to be another Dragonball movie.
  7. I'm guessing the Spike character of the old My Little Pony generations had a crush on a Unicorn.
  8. Rainbow Dash. She's kind of a jerk sometimes, but her heart is in the right place.
  9. I've been electrocuted before when I was a teenager. I was trying to plug in a lamp in the dark, and was feeling around for the light socket with the prongs on the plug. I guess I must have accidentally touched the prongs with my fingers. I got a jolt all the way up my arm to my shoulder, and my arm was all tingly afterwards. Now I'm very careful when plugging stuff in.
  10. Leafdancer turned back around to face the rock, and reared up, propping her hooves on the stone's face. She stretched her neck forward and grabbed the end of the rope in her teeth in preparation to pull. "Ready." She mumbled through her teeth, bracing her hooves. The slender unicorn was not very strong, but she would pull with all her might when Thunderhoof gave the signal. "I'll have my druid help out your warrior, then." Willow Whisper accepted the D12 with a smile, and rolled it from her hoof across the table top. "5... Or not." The unicorn chuckled deeply, and toyed with the dice under her hoof. "She's more of a dancer than a weight-lifter, I guess."
  11. Welcome to Canterlot, Frank. Hope you find a lasting place here.
  12. Thanks for contributing! Also I love Apples to Apples so this sounds fun. Looking forward to trying it out.
  13. You role-play Photo Finish. That's all I need to hear for you to be awesome..
  14. Cute. I like your ponies cutiemark. That name seems to be popular. XD I think we have Willow, Whisper, Wisp, Will O' Wisp, Willow-wisp, and Willow Whisper now. XD
  15. "You never know what you'll get. This games all about chance." Willow Whisper enthused. "Best help him quick, Thunderhoof." Leafdancer advised from the other side of the stone, and she perked her head and ears to keep watch on this side of the path while her two comrades scaled the boulder. They were headed deeper into the forest, and the further in the more peril and mystery awaited. "I'll watch for danger, but it's best not to stay put for too long in Everfree." The forest was alive with the sounds of insects and birds around them, but distant calls for aid had grown somewhat nearer, and the voice clearer. The unicorn mare listened, and whispered as her snout crinkled with concern. "It sounds almost like a foal..."
  16. Yet another California brony! Welcome to the forum. Looking forward to role playing with you too.
  17. Welcome to Canterlot. Rainbow Dash is my favorite pony too.
  18. "That sounds heavy." Willow Whisper remarked, though it was unclear whether she was referring to the great evil or the troublesome rock itself. "How fare you two at leaping?" Leafdancer asked her two companions with a sparkle in her eyes. "They do call me Leafdancer for a reason!" The druid backed up several paces, got a galloping start, and at near the last moment, with legs as lithe as a grasshoppers, leaped nimbly into the air in an attempt to jump over the stone. Willow Whisper's horn glowed a dark green color, and the D6 she had been given rose a short distance into the air and then rolled with a small clatter across the table. There was a moment of suspense before the dice settled on a six. "Wow! 6!" The unicorn laughed, delighted. "I hope that means I make it over. Not very graceful to face-plant into a giant rock!"
  19. Name: Wild Cane Sex: Male Age: Stallion Species: Earth Pony Coat Color: Dark green(12441a) with a white diamond on his forehead, and long white feathering on all four hooves that nearly covers them. His hooves are a much darker green(081b0c), almost black. Mane/Tail/Markings Color & Style: His mane is long, wavy, whimsically curled. It is the same dark green as his hooves, but streaked through with a fresher lighter green(9db258). His tail is docked in the modern style, with all the fur beyond the actual tail trimmed short, and the remainder curled into a small bun held with a orange ribbon. Eye Color: Orange (ce7e17) Cutie Mark: A small cluster of bamboo canes framed with bright green leaves. Physique: Wild Cane is large for a stallion. He's taller than average ponies, barrel chested, with a broad muscular frame and build of a clydesdale horse. He's reasonably strong and surprisingly agile for a pony of his size. Though he occasionally has bouts of clumsiness involving bumping his head on door-jams, and knocking things off of tables. He has a calm and deliberate gait, and holds himself in good posture. Origin: Wild Cane hails from the mysterious forests surrounding the Great Nimbusgait Lakes. His elderly mother and father, Snapdragon and Oleander were both adventurous botanists from Trottingham lured to the sheltered gardens and hidden vales of Nimbusgait by the promise of exotic and undiscovered plants. The couple spent years there, loving every minute of observation, analysis, and discovery. They had become so attached to the place that eventually they came to call it home. From his first breath, Wild Cane has called it home as well. He lives alone in the modest cottage his parents once lived in, nestled in a well tended bamboo thicket a distance into the forest. Roleplay Type: Mane Equestria RP Occupation: Wild Cane tends the largest known bamboo thicket found in Nimbusgait, nurturing the plants, and harvesting the long stocks for purchase by ponies around Equestria. He is also a skilled pan-pipe player, and performs on instruments made from the very bamboo he tends. Motivation: Wild Cane spent his childhood in the forest, away from the comforts and toys most foals enjoy. His mother and father instead taught him what enjoyment in life could be gained from the natural world. One day his father showed his young wide eyed son how to fashion a pan-pipe, and very crudely how to play it. To their combined delight, the foal was a talent. His cutie-mark represents this moment, a discovery of the musical side of himself tied closely to his bond with nature. His aspirations are simply to make beautiful music, live and love the forest, and share the wonders of exotic Nimbusgait with anypony. Likes: The outdoors, plants, music, silence, birdsong, animals, honesty, mushrooms Dislikes: Cities, liars, noise, spicy food, fighting, injustice Character Summary: Wild Cane is a slightly strange pony. His exposure to larger pony culture was limited when he was growing up, and he absorbed bits and pieces of Trottingham culture from his parents. He is a gentleman, honest, and with a sense of honor. However he is uncomfortable around crowded towns, and various aspects of technology. He is quiet, doesn't speak much, and has a slow paced and deep voice. Crowds overwhelm him, and he is easily lost in quick conversations. His parents saw to his schooling, but his overall education is lacking in comparison to most ponies. He is a bit isolated from other ponies, and lacking in more specific social graces. In general he is a peaceful pony, but gets easily stressed out when his peace is shattered. Made using GeneralZoi's pony generator.
  20. I would so support this. I'd love to roleplay one of these batwinged pegasi. What would you call them anyway? Nightmares?
  21. "Well met, Thunder Hoof, Gold Rush." Leafdancer replied as they trotted along, offering them both a tentative smile. "Call me Leafdancer as the trees do. What drives you to seek the Lunar Castle?" She asked curiously, wondering at their mission. Only the bravest warriors and most cunning spellcasters risked venturing into the Everfree Forest. It must be a pressing matter indeed! She slowed to a walk as they came upon a massive stone in their path, ancient and covered in a fine moss. "Perhaps, with our combined strength, we might shift it?"
