Rainbow leaned back in her chair, toying with a spoon that was resting in a mug of steaming tea. She didn't really feel like drinking it, but it was nice to have something to be distracted by. She glanced this way and that, taking in the few other ponies that were in there. Mostly students studying with a smattering of business ponies on break, or regular randoms. She didn't really dig the coffee shop all that much. It wasn't really her scene. But it was the place she'd last met Valen and she figured it would be a location easy to relay. She knew she'd feel better if she talked with Moonlight. Sure she hadn't seen the filly yet but once she did it would help...right? She was so mixed up with her own feelings. Rainbow had desires she dared not share with any other pony. She had an image to maintain. She was an athlete, a star, a legend really. And she was a mare. Don't forget that part. Nope. She wasn't going to stick to the scirpt. There was too much at risk...plus though she could hardly admit it to herself...she didn't have the courage. Rainbow scowled down towards her tea, her eyes narrowing in frustration. Why couldn't things just be easy to figure out. Life was such a tangled jumble and she really didn't have the time for any of it. Speaking of time... yep, if Moonlight was going to show it would be soon. She calmed her beating heart and took a breath. Nothing to get all worked up about. And then the bells above the door jingled and in walked a pink unicorn filly. "Hi Moonlight!" She waved her hoof from across the way. "Over here!" Great! She'd shown up! Now RD would have to talk her way though this...no biggie...ha! "Great to uh," She glanced over the pretty frame of the young mare. "Great to see you! You want a drink? Here take a seat!" So many words so fast...how obvious did she need to be that she was nervous. She found herself instantly wanting Moonlight to be ok with her. Sure she hadn't pushed anything before, in fact she didn't even know what she'd relayed to Valen on their last talk. She was as confused as he'd been...not much had changed. "So! AJ said she was going to see you today, you have a nice time over there?" It wasn't exactly normal conversation but hay, it was a start!

I'd be happy to put my Sunburst in! He could escape his school duties for a a while and help bore ponies to death with his knowledge of history. Also, wouldn't mind throwing in my newbie Blue Bird. She could use some play time!

Rainbow clapped her hooves together as Zap came roaring back towards her. He really was getting better at building up speed! Of course there was lot to work on but that's why they were out here, for practice...and fun! "Wow Zappers, that was awesome!" She trotted towards him. "Of course you can do it again! You did really well around the cloud pole just do it like that again ok? And way to not slow down until you've crossed the line! This time once you cross the line try to angle your wing like this." She showed him the slope. "That will swing your legs forward and help you to slow down quickly." She chuckled. "We like to do everything fast huh? Even slowing down!" She'd stay near him when he tried the directions for stopping. The nice thing was in this section of the training yard even falls wouldn't see you too beat up. The grass was soft and dotted with pillars made of puffy clouds. Rainbow sighed as she watch Zap line up for another run, wishing AJ could be up here to see this. "One, two, three...go!" She clicked the clock to start and watched to see what Zap would do on his second attempt.

Applejack couldn't help but glance down and blush as Rarity toyed with the edge of her bandanna. At least it made her forget the irritation she was feeling towards herself about losing something that had been very precious to her. There was of course the possibility of being reunited with the item...if they could get to the bottom of this. "Rarity here is something of a private eye herself detective." She smiled proudly towards her mare. "She could certainly be of some assistance on this." Gridlock smiled, noting the words. It seemed so far that Rarity was asking the right kinds of questions. "Well, I do have some pretty strong notions on them...mostly why I came on this particular flight." He glanced about before continuing. "There's been a spree of recent thefts on these airships, of the stolen property has been, sparkly." He raised an eyebrow. "As of yet I haven't been able to catch any of them red pawed but, with your help I'm thinking tonight might be the night." "Tonight's the gala!" Applejack spoke up knowingly. She'd be impressing the fashionista with her learning on the way of the couture tonight! "Right! And I'm wondering if I can ask for your assistance during the gala? Its the perfect setup to nab who I think might be the crook!"

I'd love one of Lamp Light! Name: Lamp Light Gender: Stallion Species: Unicorn Appearance: Eye Color: Amber yellow gradient. Coat: Slightly fluffy dark chocolate brown that fades to black as it travels down his legs. His fetlocks are entirely black, his hooves as well. Mane/Tail: His mane and tail are long and flowing, reaching past his neck and down to his hooves. Both mane and tail are a deep rich pumpkin orange with flecks of darkest red throughout. He has long forelocks that fall over his left eye and also a beard that is long and well kept. He keeps his locks well maintained, brushing and oiling them daily. Physique: Not extremely well built or at all chubby, Lamp is in good health overall. Cutie Mark: A small glass lamp with a flickering flame illuminating a cream colored quill and red bound sign in book. Occupation: Lamp is the Keeper of his inn and works tirelessly to make sure the ponies that stay with him receive the utmost for their bits. Personality: A friendly fellow. Warm and friendly. She raised her eyebrows at his comment about following him. It wasn't like she was keeping it a secret. It was her job to know what was going on with whoever was out in the Frozen North near her post. "Blizzard then." He hadn't asked her name and she didn't offer it. This guy was giving her a funny feeling. She could take care of herself of course, he just didn't sit right with her. She went over to the table where he was muttering to himself over the spell books. She stood for a moment, scanning the pages he was looking at. "Spell combinations?" She half smiled. "You been practicing conjuring for a long time?" She raised a brow. "Your specialty in school maybe?" The questions were intrusive but what did it matter? It didn't seem like this stallion would be phased by much...

When the mare across from her mentioned there were other teachers aboard she nearly chocked on her blackberry fizz! "Wow really? Not just teachers but celebrities! They're all going to Hope Hollow for the wedding?" She could see that of course. They had been the ones to free her town from the grey. But that lot having time to come to the mayor's wedding? They certainly were a good group of friends! "I've thought about transferring to the Friendship School more than once. It would be so cool to be educated by...well by famous ponies! And saviors of Equestria...and now you!" She didn't really know this new mare at all but she liked her very much all the same. Any anxiety she had been feeling about going home was melting away as they continued their conversation. "Aw thank you Sunset!" She blushed at the compliment of her name. "Your name is super pretty too!" She connected hooves with Sunset, returning her wink with a charming smile. Luster listened while Sunset regaled her with the class she taught. Her eye widened as she explained what was possible with manifesting friendship! It all sounded exciting, and dangerous, and super cool! "I haven't taken a class like that yet." She smiled. "But they do have lots of other really interesting ones that I have taken!" The filly nodded as Sunset asked the question about types of magic. Her head swirled for a moment. It was always tricky to pick a favorite. She liked lots of magical studies and hadn't found the one she'd be focusing on. Her professors had told her that was fine. Sometimes it took a long time to decide what you really wanted. "I guess I never even thought about self defense as a form of magic to focus on." She tapped her muzzle. "But the way you talk about it, it sounds like I've been missing out on!" She blushed. "Well, maybe Princess Twilight and I have something in common. I've been very interested in conjuring and enchantment lately. it's really challenging and rewarding! Last week I actually had a chance to work one on one with a professor. I was able to conjure a force field against a magical blast!" She gasped and them smiled. "Which is self defense! Looks like I'm part Twilight and part Sunset as far as what I'm liking about magic!" Her blush deepened. Was she being too presumptuous with the connection she felt with this mare? Luster gave a sad smile. "I bet you got up to all kinds of fun stuff at school! What were your friends like? Do you keep in touch with them?"

Sunburst smiled as she commented on the fragrance. "O-oh yes! It's an herbal mix really. Just some mint, chamomile, while sage... For relaxation! It helps with headaches too... i-if you were to have one," He laughed awkwardly. The stallion put the kettle on, waiting until the water was piping hot before pouring tea for two. "I-I'll select the flavor for you if that's ok?" Sunburst selected a delicious brew mix he'd brought back with him from his last visit to Canterlot. There were tea shops there that sourced from all over Equestria and he always purchased an interesting mix when he was in town. Sunburst made his way to his desk, levitating two mugs. These he set down in front of Sunset. Steam rose in wafts as the stallion took a seat. "This is from Unyasi actually! It's cinnamon, cardamon, and a bunch of spices from the zebra lands." He blew the steam off his and took a tentative sip. "Invigorating!" He nodded and let the mug rest on the desk. "S-so! My recent discovery!" He pulled a rather large tome towards himself. "I was leafing through this tome from the royal Canterlot library and came across," He gently pulled a delicately folded scrap of parchment from between two page. "this!" He used his magic to unfold the parchment. It contained the sketches of a circular style rune and an incantation. "I-i've looked up the rune and though I've found similar, none exactly the same. I'm not sure who left this but I'm quite intrigued as to what it's use might be." He allowed her to look over the parchment and tried not to stare at the mare for too long in the process. Figuring out a rune would give them something to do together. Perhaps he could win her over with his intellect and joviality? He'd dreamed for far too long for an encounter like this with Professor Shimmer, hopefully he wouldn't blow it...

The roar of the ursa was gone. Echoes away into endless drifts of snow. Hopefully it would go its own way now and not follow the crimson trail she was leaving. It might. That though turned her stomach to knots. Though in the moment she's been strong as steel, the moment was gone. She could feel herself starting to give from the inside. Weakening. Crumbling. Coming undone. The pain began in a rush. Hot as fire, lancing through her face. it caused a tight grimace as she fought for breath. It would come, she just needed to relax. She had lots of first aide training. You had to, to have a job like her's. Celestia only knew what kind of trouble one could get into on their own in the frozen north. Broken limbs, fractured skulls, pulls, cramps, tears...lacerations...well more likely an avulsion she was pretty sure. She hadn't touched it yet and didn't intend to until they were somewhere warmer, and safer. The blood continued to drip, hardening the coat in it's path. They had to move. Had to get somewhere that wasn't here. “I’m sorry.” The words tingled in her ears long after they were uttered. The weakness behind them was deafening. It was not the Fizzy she had once known. The one from before the breaking. But the jump in her heart from those words made her know, it was still the Fizzy she felt so deeply for. Loved. Yes loved. She couldn't deal with that right now. Her face. She had to get that taken care of. But oh! Was Fizzy ok? It seemed like it. She had run with her, in front of her for most of their retreat. "Th-there's a..." She swallowed. "...cave. A sheltered cave not far from here. Koda and I have used it before for overnights. W-we should go there. Get warm." She shivered involuntarily. She'd hold it together but the wound was causing her to go into shock.

"Nah, nah," She glanced at Neb as the mare licked her fangs. "Not yet anyway!" She took a breath of the outside air. It was relaxing. It didn't take too long for Reckless to feel comfortable with pretty much anypony...even if they were a semi-famous DJ and a really pretty bat pone! Nope! She wasn't about to let any of that phase her. She noticed the scars when Neb took off her wraps. She had been wondering what was up with those. Well, they were covering scars, but from what? She'd ask later. "Cool!" Dusk hopped the railing of the balcony and took to the roof. She wasn't a winged pony but she could always levitate if she was thinking she might loose her balance. "So, how's life been treatin' you Neb? Any good fights lately?" Fights? Hmm. This was intriguing for Reck. What exactly was Neb into? She did seem a little scrappy, which was fine by her. She took to the air, hovering in front of the two of them which sent cool breezes down their way. "Fights huh?" She cocked an eyebrow. "What do you do for work Neb?" That alone time would have to wait...

Hi You know me, always up for some romance! Not sure on Cain's persuasion but I've got some characters that could get to know him as friends and then more. Or if it's a friendship or adventure/lost you're up for with any of these guys and gals let me know Mares: Touch Stone: Quite but kind unicorn mare. Really would like to find her somepony and develop her character more. Is prone to adventure if it involves looking for gems along the way. Shining Moment: Made this character and never used her for anything! Skies the limit with this unicorn mare from the Crystal Empire! Meridian: Also never really used in RP. She's got an accent, herds sheep, and is a mountain climber. Stallions: Lamp Light: I love this character and he really needs to find his special somepony. Owns an inn in Ponyville.
