Often, talking is all they need. It varies from person to person when it comes to anxiety and panic attacks, and sometimes, even with one person, it varies from trigger to trigger. When I'm in a crowd I need something to help suppress my senses. Music to keep the noise of everyone around me down, someone guiding me carefully through the crowd so I don't have to see them. But when I have a panic attack because I think I'm not good enough I need to sit down and go through breathing...
