When I saw the previews and such, I thought all the supernatural stuff they saw was all just some hoax. But no, the show itself proved me very wrong. Davroth Posted August 25, 2012 Report Share Posted August 25, 2012 If Pendleton Ward was producing Gravity Falls, we'd probably have Slenderman in there for real.. XDI love it. The writing is sharp, the jokes are clever, and I think it's on the best way of becoming one of those cult classic cartoons. Like, one week they'll air episodes during the week, this week nothing until the marathon. Also, episode one will be playing on Saturday! Check the schedule here. Chapien Posted September 13, 2012 Report Share Posted September 13, 2012 Been watching Gravity Falls for a while now and I have to admit that it is possibly my favorite cartoon currently on air - better even than ponies right now (though once Season 3 comes out that opinion may change). Didn't even know it was a Disney toon. Sure doesn't feel like a Disney toon. The jokes venture more into the Fox or Cartoon Network territory at times...Oh. The same guy who did Flapjack is doing this..John Ritter's son plays Dipper. Kristen Schaal plays Mabel..Geez, now I know why I love this toon. Dipper found book 3 in... what was it, the first episode? And Gideon had book 2 in his episode. But I don't recall seeing book 1 yet. Also, do you think there are more than three books?
