I have to point out my favorite Strokes video:

Awesome video as well as song! The bass break made me fall in love with it, there isn't much focus on bass in bands and that little snipet was lovely!

Thought I'd update my list, was hard to choose between these, but my number one goes to...

1.

- Streetlight Manifesto (NSFW, as in people dying, blood, pain ,etc, in cartoon form.)

2.

- The Fall of Troy (NSFW in the beginning)

3.

- New York Dolls

4. Chico Gordo - Hentalia (Japanese, still a good song though)

5.

- Deavid Soul

6.

- My Chemical Romance (Expect some NSFW)

I felt the need to add this as I recently started to revisit Echo & The Bunnymen XD

I am going to have to run with Whiteslash's thing and list my 5 favorite dark early 80s post-punk or goth songs, of which The Killing Moon is one of them. :)

Reptile-the Church

Like an Animal - The Glove

Dark Entries - Bauhaus

A Forest - The Cure (although my favorite Cure song ever is So What)

Fireworks - Siouxie and the Banshees

I really wanna include Joy Division, but it doesn't fit :)

I can listen to any type of music, the genre depends on what mood I'm in at the time. On average I listen to quite a bit of high-energy guitar driven rock.

Some favorites at the moment in no particular order:

Flyleaf - Fire Fire

Halestorm - I Miss the Misery

The Nearly Deads - Never look Back

Thousand Foot Krutch - I Get Wicked

Disturbed - Stricken

Fireflight - Core of My Addiction

Project 86 - The Spy Hunter

Four Year Strong - On A Saturday

Jettblack - Raining Rock

Ye Banished Privateers - The Drowned Waltz

It took a while to make a list, I had to listen to almost everything on my playlist

Hmm. I like Late Romantic, Neoclassism (mainly Russians haha) and Expressionism + Modernism.

Fave composers: Alkan, Blumenfeld, Rach, Scriabin, Schönberg and Stockhausen, Xenakis, Wyschnegradsky and Ives.

Oh. Aphex Twin, Autechre, KOTO (lel), Solar Fields.

And industrial rock. KMFDM, my favourite band (Inb4 someone calls the FBI to raid my house), Rammstein and NiN isn't bad either.

I love country and Christian contemporary the best. I do like some pop/rock artists though.

I would say my favorite country artists are: Faith Hill, Taylor Swift, Randy Travis and Reba. My favorite Christian artists are Point of Grace and Audio Adrenaline.

Some other artists I enjoy are Of Monsters and Men and Nickelback.

I love any and all tacky, horrendous pop music. It's satisfyingly catchy and hilarious all at once! But that's just for a laugh. When it comes to sitting down and chilling out to music, it's gotta be jazz. Charlie Parker, the Duke, Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk - all that good stuff! I'm also into the granolar bar music as well, so artists like Gregory and the Hawk, sigur ros, Neutral Milk Hotel, you name it. And when I want high energy music soooometimes I'll dip into metal (I was a huge metalhead once upon a time) but for the most part I'll listen to the Dropkick Murphys, Dead Kennedies, The Offspring, Operation Ivy, etc etc.

I think my tastes are pretty much all around the board, but mostly I listen to jazz and granola tunes.~

I don't follow bands particularly, but I mostly prefer instrumentals. Celtic music, awesome violin covers (Lindsey Stirling, anyone?) And Phantom of the Opera, as well as the sequel etc.

Romance, preferably by male singers, are one of the best ones I love, but well, I choose particular ones like N Sync, Backstreet Boys & Westlife. OH MY GOSH, those bands are the greatest! Oh yeah, I also like Aaron Carter a little bit, one such skillful singer and younger brother to one of the Backstreet Boys, he really know how to woo the girls. :o

Today's romantic music? Well.... not so much. And nope, Justin Bieber is no Aaron Carter II, his high pitch voice is definitely like a Timmy Turner on drugs.
