Vinyl Scratch:

It was awesome to see everypony enjoying themselves - Royalty at a party sometimes made things a little more awkward for all concerned, but Celestia seemed to be somewhat enjoying herself at the moment, despite the current goings on. The mare giggled slightly to herself as she shook her head, amused at the crazy ponies, but it seemed as though things were short-lived, as they soon left the party - ah well, at least they'd no doubt remember their silliness for a while afterwards, even if it was clearly embarrassing for them right now.

" Pony, only in Ponyville! " the blue-maned party pony utters to herself, before returning her gaze to the partying ponies on the dance floor...preparing to tend to whatever they might need!

"Hello Moondancer! I see you are enjoying the party as always."

“I sure am, boss!” replied Moondancer, noticing that DJ Pon-3 was switching over to a new song now; “And I gotta get back to the party now. You really ought to dance your flank off when you get the chance… always feels just like magic”. Teasingly winking at Princess Celestia, the grinning Moondancer stood up on her hind legs and gave a farewell wave before teleporting in a magical flash in front of her DJing idol. Moony heard this latest song of Vinyl's back in Canterlot, and the moon-flanked mare was glad to rock out to this beat once more.....

"I can see why you would be confused. Her mane does bare a striking resemblance to my own with those glow sticks weaved in it. It is a pleasure to meet you, I am Princess Celestia, and you are..?"

Derpy Hooves saluted as she introduced herself with the uttermost seriousness; “Derpy Hooves; Electrical Weather Specialist 1st Class, ma’am!” Wait, did Derpy really need to tell the princess all that? The mare’s googly eyes looks off to the side, wondering if was actually necessary to state her weather team positions. A couple seconds later, Derpy’s inner monologue instructed itself to shut up, and all feelings of ill ease vanished. Now in a bashful mood, Miss Hooves set herself back on the ground as she finally noticed Celestia’s wings; “Glad to know you’re the real deal, Princess.....”

Lime had been late coming to the dance hall, having been running herself absolutely ragged making sure all the guests were taken care of! And when she arrived she felt her eye twitch at the big, pink and rainbow colored pony towering above everypony else! She cringed and swallowed, fixing her ponytail and took a deeeep breath, held it for a second and trotted over, focusing on being calm, on being polite, and not yelling at her highness for gate crashing..

"Ah Princess Celestia, hello..I..I'm the host of this event...Ah QuickLime..I was um...I wish you had let me known that you were coming So I could have prepared for you a name tag.." She stammered "I hope you are enjoying this so far...?"

Dirty gate crasher...The princess was very kind and good so Lime really couldn't be too angry, I mean mares just wanna have fun right?

Right Mares just wanna have fun.

Fuchsia stood off to the side, and waited for the other ponies (and small dragon) to have their little talks with the princess before approaching Celestia herself. The orange mare who had been dancing so wildly before had tripped and fallen in her exuberance to greet the princess, and fled the room in embarassment. Fuchsia felt bad for her, and would have followed but two other mares, evidently her friends, had gone after her instead. Maybe she would try to strike up a conversation with her later, and see if she was okay.

The music thumped loudly, making conversation a little difficult. Fuchsia stepped up to Princess Celestia and made a curtsey, floating the golden lily in front of her. "It's lovely to see you here, Princess. May I offer you this gift of a lily I grew myself in my greenhouse? I, um, added a bit of sparkle to it." The unicorn mare with the bright pink mane smiled bashfully.

"Honestly, Fluttershy, when it comes to this sort of event you just need to carry yourself naturally. If you can't do that, you'll never have any fun with it,"

Carry herself naturally? Fluttershy's natural instinct in a big social situation like this was to hide, or to just be elsewhere. But she knew that's not really what Rarity meant. As much as she had hated it, she recalled the time she had spent as a model, the way that Photo Finish had shown her how to hold herself as she moved down the runway. Taking a deep breath, the straightened her back and lifted her head as she followed the unicorn into the crowd.

Now that she was really looking around, Fluttershy did notice some familiar mares in the crowd, including Derpy. Rarity, at least, seemed familiar enough with some of the group to approach, but the pair were suddenly stopped by a very familiar, very tall form.

"Greetings Rarity and Fluttershy. Your dresses looks spectacular as always. I'm really looking forward to having a fun night with everypony."

"Princess!" Fluttershy exclaimed in surprise, before making a brief curtsey. "I didn't expect to see you here, Your Highness!" she said to Celestia brightly. While Rarity seemed to be over-awed by the Princess at times, Fluttershy always found her to be a very calming influence. She blushed a little at the princess' complement, but responded, "Oh yes, Rarity did a wonderful job, as always." She glanced at her friend who was... kissing the princess' hooves... Fluttershy was so distracted by her friend's behavior that she didn't notice the little dragon approach before he spoke up... then fell on the floor.

"Oh my! Spike are you ok?" she asked the little dragon. But he had already gotten to his feet and was offering to bring them something. Fluttershy smiled at him. He was still such a cute little thing, especially when he was being helpful. Fluttershy noticed that the princess was attracting a bit of attention from the attendees, and even the convention organizer had come over to see her... but Rarity was still kissing the princess' hooves.

She bent down the Rarity's ear and whispered "Um, Rarity, I think there are some other ponies that want to see the Princess?" She then turned back to Spike and said, "Um no, I'm fine Spike, but I think Rarity needs some punch..."

Awesome, the crowd were hittin' it off just right - and with Celestia making herself quite the partymare despite her formal approach, Vinyl was startin' to feel the vibes ebb and flow through the gathering like she'd hoped for. When a party started to kick into gear, the DJ mare was always in a fantastic frame of mind, and right now was no exception as she switches the track up to something just a little special...

" YO, Mares of Ponyville, Canterlot an' everywhere else... " she starts into the microphone, gesturing towards the dancing, eating, and socialising group of mares - and the sole male dragon!

" I prepped this one JUST for you ponyfolks before comin' out here...a l'il track known as

! " She then flipped the record floating in the air onto the turntable and let the magic of the evenings good vibrations do the rest...it felt like there was still plenty of life left in this party and she wanted to be right there in the epicentre with everypony else to experience it!

[she's totally approachable for discussion anytime, so if anypony wants to talk to dat pon3, go right ahead! XD]

hw45.png

Welp, he'd recovered just enough composure after dusting himself off to give Celestia a small salute with a claw and giving her a small 'Okay, shall do!' before turning to address Fluttershys own comment - seemed like the quiet mare didn't really want anything...but the fact that she'd pointed out Rarity and a distinct need for punch puts the young dragon on high alert!

" R-R-Rarity doesn't have any punch?! " he utters - ordinarily, he knew at this event that Berry was currently taking care of the punch side of thngs, but perhaps she had her hooves full and needed a hardworking dragon to tend to the immediate needs of a beverageless young attractive white Unicorn whose mere name being mentioned would have any drag-...Pony's heart in a fluttering pitter-patter!

Not that it wouldn't have had this dragons heart in a whirlwind either - a fact that was probably apparent to everypony who knew Spike for any length of time!

" Not to worry, Rarity, Spike is ON the job for your most wanted needs - I'll have some punch served up without any delay, nope none whatsoever...watch how ENTIRELY delayless this is! "

And with that, he darts off towards Berry's punch stand...well, after tripping up over his own feet once or twice along the way - he wasn't the most elegant dragon, afterall!

"You are very deserving of any praise you receive Rarity. I would not have asked you to design the dresses for Princess Cadence's special day otherwise. By the way, you are kissing my hooves again, but this time, we are not alone in the room at Canterlot Castle..."

Celestia's praise just made Rarity even more gracious! Princess Celestia truly was an incredible mare. So very compassionate and dignified and beautiful too. Truly she was an amazing pony; she could see why Twilight idolized her so. She also was starting to get a notion of what she might choose for her next Nightmare Night costume... Celestia did have a point though. Maybe she was pushing it a little far with the hoof kissing.

"Of course, Princess! I apologize," she said. "I mean only to stress how completely honored I am by your all too kind words. The faith you have in me... why it's just inspiring!" Rarity added with a gleeful squeak.

"Um, Rarity, I think there are some other ponies that want to see the Princess? Um no, I'm fine Spike, but I think Rarity needs some punch..."

Rarity gave an awkward laugh at Fluttershy's words. Yeah... she was definitely probably taking it too far. She lifted her head and stepped back, blushing a little. "You're quite right, Fluttershy. I'll gladly leave the Princess to her business."

At the mention of Spike, Rarity turned her head to find her young dragon friend was there. She had been so focused on Celestia she hadn't even noticed him or his greeting. Seeing him now, she smiled and gave a nod. Some punch did sound rather nice.

" R-R-Rarity doesn't have any punch?! Not to worry, Rarity, Spike is ON the job for your most wanted needs - I'll have some punch served up without any delay, nope none whatsoever...watch how ENTIRELY delayless this is! "

"That sounds lovely, Spike, darling. You're so thoughtful!" she said to the young dragon, smiling at him as he went off to fetch her punch. Spike really was adorable. He always went out of his way to be a good friend to them.

It was then that DJ Pon3 started a new record, one which Rarity recognized. She gave a laugh and nodded to Fluttershy. "I've always kind of liked this song..." she said with a smile as she stepped out. "Come on, Fluttershy, why don't we dance a little! It might be fun!" she suggested with enthusiasm, pulling Fluttershy toward her.

"Oh, you like my mane," Sweet said to the Princess happy that Celestia wasn't upset impersonating her slightly, "I just kind of did this on a whim. Couldn't really hold these glow sticks in my hooves while trying to dance. Would you like some, Princess Celestia?"

“I do indeed. It suits you nicely. And that was very industrious of you to think of that on a whim.” Celestia said with a gleaming look at the mare’s mane which was made to resemble her own. The mare offered Celestia some of her glow sticks. Celestia figured that if she was going to be at a dance party. “I would love to have a few of the glow sticks.” Celestia gracefully accepted the mare’s offer. “I thank you for offering them to me.” She smiled warmly at the mare with a certain sense of gratitude.

“I sure am, boss!” replied Moondancer, noticing that DJ Pon-3 was switching over to a new song now; “And I gotta get back to the party now. You really ought to dance your flank off when you get the chance… always feels just like magic”.

“I’ll be joining you on the dance floor shortly. Though it has been a long while since I’ve danced, and it is rather rare that I’m at parties such as these.” Celestia replied to her young and energetic intern. Celestia didn’t dance at parties often, however she wasn’t here as the princess, but rather a mare or Equestria, it seemed only fitting she’d try and have fun like any other pony. “I’m sure it does feel like that. I can’t wait to experience it for myself, Moondancer.” Celestia was no stranger to dancing, though this sort of dancing was something entirely different from the high brow dancing that the usual affairs she attends usually has. This was certainly going to be an interesting night for the Sun Princess.

“Derpy Hooves; Electrical Weather Specialist 1st Class, ma’am!”Wait, did Derpy really need to tell the princess all that? The mare’s googly eyes looks off to the side, wondering if was actually necessary to state her weather team positions. A couple seconds later, Derpy’s inner monologue instructed itself to shut up, and all feelings of ill ease vanished. Now in a bashful mood, Miss Hooves set herself back on the ground as she finally noticed Celestia’s wings; “Glad to know you’re the real deal, Princess.....”

“It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance Miss Derpy.” Celestia greeted the friendly weather mare with the googly eyes. Celestia giggled at the idea of someone thinking she wasn’t real. “I am glad I am real as well.” Celestia knew that not being real was a real possibility especially after the changeling invasion in Canterlot. However she didn't care to mention that or even liked to think about it.

"Ah Princess Celestia, hello..I..I'm the host of this event...Ah QuickLime..I was um...I wish you had let me known that you were coming So I could have prepared for you a name tag.." She stammered "I hope you are enjoying this so far...?"

“It is a pleasure to meet you Miss QuickLime. You have thrown a fantastic event.” Celestia said while looking around smiling at all the mares enjoying themselves. Though the mare seemed troubled for Celestia not telling her in advance she would be coming and thus able to make a name tag for her. “I am terribly sorry I didn’t RSVP. Unfortunately I was unsure I’d be able to make it at all. I just finished my administrative duties shortly before departing Canterlot to come here.” Celestia explained carefully to the mare, showing signs of genuine remorse, while still having an air of royalty speaking. “And as for the name tag, I don’t think we need to worry about that. I’m sure ponies would know who I am with or without a name tag.” Celestia said with a bit of a chuckle and wink to her intrepid hostess. “And I am most certainly enjoying myself. And I am sure the night will only get better.”

"It's lovely to see you here, Princess. May I offer you this gift of a lily I grew myself in my greenhouse? I, um, added a bit of sparkle to it."

“It is lovely to be here. This seems like it will be a fun party.” Celestia replied to the pink maned mare. “I am unfortunately going to have to decline your generous offer. I wouldn’t want such a lovely flower to get damaged or lost while enjoying the party. Perhaps you can give me one after?” Celestia tactfully declined the offer. It wasn’t that she didn’t want to accept it, but unfortunately she wasn’t sure if it would last the night, and it would be a shame to lose a lovely gift such as that.

She blushed a little at the princess' complement, but responded, "Oh yes, Rarity did a wonderful job, as always."

"Um, Rarity, I think there are some other ponies that want to see the Princess?"

"Of course, Princess! I apologize," she said. "I mean only to stress how completely honored I am by your all too kind words. The faith you have in me... why it's just inspiring!"

Celestia smiled at Fluttershy and Rarity. “Honestly, I didn’t expect that I was going to be able to make it here Fluttershy, but I am glad I was able.” Celetsia said to Fluttershy as she nodded in response to Fluttershy’s agreement of Rarity’s prowess at making dresses.

Celestia giggled at Rarity’s apology and Fluttershy’s interjection of Rarity kissing her hooves. “There is no need to apologize Rarity. I know you are appreciative but, you needn’t kiss my hooves each time I do or say something nice.” Celestia said with a smile still chuckling. “And believe me Rarity, all the praise I give and faith I have in you is quite well deserved.”

'Okay, shall do!'

Celestia nodded at Spike, hoping that he wouldn’t overwork himself. He seemed especially intent on doting on Rarity, which seemed par the course. Still, so long as he was able to enjoy himself, Celestia saw no harm in it. With that Celestia cantered over to the dance floor and slowly started to move her head and hooves to the beat. She wasn't dancing as hard as some of the other party goers, but she hadn't yet found her groove. She seemed stiff but really she was relaxed as can be, but her dancing was very reserved.

Sweet Surprise wondered how Derpy could still mistake her for the real Celestia. aside from the now similar colored mane and tail, there was little similarities between the brown earth pony and the white Alicorn.

"Oh why thanks for that Princess. I have these moments that something just pops into my mind and I'm able to act on it. Sometimes it works while other times not so much. Anyway, here are some glowsticks."

With that the mare pulled out a hoof full of glowsticks from her bag, each of them already casting their own unique glow.

"I've seen some ponies put these in their manes and tails like me when they dance, others attach then to and jewelry they have. Some unicorns even let them float around them like fireflies, but of course I can't really do that. Anyway, hope you have fun dancing out there. Oh and you have to try the food, it's delicious!"

Spike had no time to waste - Rarity wanted some Juice, and the young dragon had no intentions of letting her down - toeclaws clacked against the dancefloor beneath as he rushes his way towards the one familiar barmare who had setup shop down here, leaning against the table to take a couple of breaths before making his order of the sweetest, bestest juice she had, which was swiftly provided by the wine-colored mare behind the table, who giggles a little at the way spike was trying to win over the most elegant white unicorn on the dancefloor...a mare who clearly was the apple of many eyes, including those of the young dragon before her.

Needless to say, Spike exchanges polite thankyous to Berry as he turned and left the table, dodging and hopping over and around those l'il obstacles that seemed to appear almost as if to spite Spikes efforts...giving his most focused attention to getting the juice to it's rightful owner - thoughts ran through his mind about what might happen...would he trip and spill this juice in front of Rarity - No, That'd be terrible...and thus with this single thought in mind, he slows down as he approaches the mare once again, a cup of the most sacred crushed juice in all the building, ready for consumption by one ivory colored unicorn!

" He-Heres...heres.... " he pauses, takes another couple of deep breaths. " Here's....Juice...Ra-Rarity...enj-enjoy! "

Yup - He was gonna need a whole plateful of his favourite opal and onyx gems to get over the hilariously adorable flush that had started to spread on his cheeks...

“It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance Miss Derpy. I am glad I am real as well.”

That was very comforting for Derpy Hooves to hear. “That’s good to know Princess Celestia!” the young mare affirmed; “Hopefully once everypony’s done talking, you can go on and burst a move on the dance floor. Well then uhhhh, see ya!” Leaving Celestia to the eternal activity of conversing with her subjects, Derpy took up to the air again to dance to Vinyl’s groovy beat.

"He-Heres...heres.... Here's....Juice...Ra-Rarity...enj-enjoy!"

“Juice, who has juice?” Energetic dancing could really take a toll on Moondancer, so the thirsty mare perked up at the sound of quenching drinks being offered. A couple seconds later, Moony realized that the sound came from a familiar-looking dragon less than a few feet away. “Spike?” the mare gasped in shock, swiftly cantering to the purple dragon that she last glimpsed hours ago; “Hey Spike, remember me, Moondancer? I was the pony that always arranged all those get-togethers back when you and Twi lived in Canterlot, you remember those?” Moony suspected she was making an idiot out of herself right now blabbering about the past to someone who wasn't in her closest circle of friends, but it was always worth it to reunite with any old acquaintance.....

Vinyl hops down from the decks again, and stretched her back a little...nothing like a little freedom from the BeatDen to get the blood stirring - and beyond that, she seriously required something to drink, looking at the punch bowl from where she was sat was nothing short of a temptation that was just itching to be sated!

Casually passing ponies with a hello and a grin, she saunters her way over towards where Berry was currently handing out delicious fruit drinks...taking one up in a magical spark of energy, she simply takes a sip and looks around at the gathering of mares, suitably impressed that this event was truly the success it was, and that she was a central point that had helped bring everypony together in such a way as this. Sure, it wasn't like this event had been her making, but it was no small feat to see so many mares relaxing and enjoying themselves to the music she'd brought with her...and that was as big an achievement as she could hope for!

Sipping lightly from the paper cup, she lets loose a soft sigh of contentment and finds a place to chillax for a moment...she'd get back to MC duties shortly, but right now she just wanted to take some time to simply be herself for a l'il moment - maybe even go see what some members of the audience were up to before she went back up!

-

Berry Punch

Berry's night had been full of ponies - relatively typical so far in that regard....although the gathering itself wasnt typical, since the entire audience was comprised of mares - which, Berry thought to herself, was quite a sight to behold in many ways. She'd never seen so many gathered under one roof like this before, and the fact that it was for an event such as this was thrilling....something devised to truly demonstrate appreciation and respect for the mares of Equestria!

She passed off a drink to the female DJ who passed by - her music had been entirely appropriate for the occasion, although not necessarily Berry's personal tastes, being more of a Jazz and Orchestral mare herself. Still, there was no denying that DJ Pon3 was the mare to call if you wanted to make your dancefloor and party thrive....she was living up to the hype as far as Berry cared, and that was more than enough to satisfy her.

Taking a small sip on the flask of her own specially prepped Juice, she stretches and keeps her eyes on the throbbing crowd, a small smile creeping over her muzzle as she hums the tune currently playing. With all of the good vibrations currently running through the place, it was hard to feel anything but a sense of wonder at it all...and Berry was going to enjoy herself, no matter what!

"I wouldn’t want such a lovely flower to get damaged or lost while enjoying the party. Perhaps you can give me one after?"

Fuchsia Blooms bowed as the princess politely deferred the gift. "I understand completely." Turning away, she sought out one of the royal guards, standing off to the side of the ballroom. Addressing the guardpony, she said "Hello! I'm Fuchsia, a shopkeeper in Canterlot. I offered this golden lily to the princess as a gift, but she doesn't want it to get lost or crushed while she is on the dance floor. Perhaps you can hold on to it for her until she is ready to go?" The guard looked a little askance at her, but she floated the gilded bloom up and tucked its stem securely into the helmet's crest. "There. Now you won't forget to give it to her, will you?" Fuchsia smiled sweetly.

From the spot near the doorway, she could see all the ponies milling about the room. She noticed that some of the mares had glowsticks. "Ooh, how fun! I wonder where they're getting them from." Looking around, she saw Sweet Surprise with a hooffull of them, in addition to several stuck in her mane and tail. Fuchsia trotted over to the chocolatier, "Sweet, glowsticks! Could I get one or two, please?"

Spike wasn't sure if he'd just heard that familiar-sounding voice correctly, so he turns his head to see just who it was that had called out to him - and finding that it was exactly who he had thought it would be, a pony whom he hadn't really spoken to in a good long while. " Moondancer, hey! " the baby dragon responds with a smile, giving a small nod of acknowledgement. " It HAS been a pretty long time since I saw you last...sorry we kinda didn't make your birthday get together that year, but...well...twilight was busy and all with her studies! "

The dragon blinks, having heard her prior exclamation about juice - he points a claw in the direction of Berry's stall. " Oh, and She's got the juice you're after - a few delicious flavors too! I kinda like her Grape and Blackberry...pretty delicious, especially when it's as freshly made as this! " he says with a wide grin. " I definitely reccommend her if you're in need of a quick fix for thirst! "

Scratching his chin lightly, Spike clears his throat a little and looks back at Moondancer. " So hows the party going for you? Are you here with any of your friends, or are they all still back at canterlot doing their own studies? " he asks, certainly curious to know just what the answer was on that little question. " I know you guys usually travel together when goin' out for a party like this, but I haven't seen any of 'em here so far. "

It was true - he couldnt really remember having seen any of the other friends of Moondancer around...not that it REALLY mattered as such, but the dragon was naturally curious so it seemed like a point to ask about and see just what was up with it. At the very least, he mused to himself, it'd make for a little bit of something to talk about with a pony whom he and Twi hadn't seen for a good while!

-

qkx4.png

Vinyl sipped at her juice, grinning as she bobbed her head along to the rather long mix that was currently set to play...it was nothing special, just a little something to keep the ambience up but would play long enough to allow her to have some downtime and mingling with the mares on the dancefloor - maybe in a little bit she'd get down and show some of these ponies how a canterlotian DJ partied hardy when the time truly needed it...but not yet, she reasoned - there was plenty of time to truly wow the audience later on with her smooth moves!

Nearby, a mare was enquiring around about glowsticks - Vinyl smiled and trotted back to the booth and floated out the box of 'em that she kept handy for occasions like this...she was always fond of providing all of the key components of a succesful party, and Glowsticks always rated pretty highly on her list of such things.

" I gotcha Glowsticks right here, pony! " Vinyl announces, scattering a few of the illuminated sticks across the crowds for them to catch - she always liked seeing ponies eyes light up whenever she brought things out such as this for the festivities, and as a result always tried to include it whenever she could. Using a small spark of magic from her horn, she levitated over a pair of glowsticks to the originally enquiring mare and winks over the top of her shades in her direction.

" Have fun, a'ight? " she says, her typical DJ Smirk in full bloom...

Oh yeah, this was definitely turning out to be quite a good night for all involved!

"Moondancer, hey! It HAS been a pretty long time since I saw you last...sorry we kinda didn't make your birthday get together that year, but...well...Twilight was busy and all with her studies!"

“Tehehe,” Moondancer giggled at the thought of Twilight Sparkle, the most studious pony she ever had the pleasure of making an acquaintance with; “Hey, if she’s a princess now, does that mean she doesn’t have to study anymore? You’d think that if Twi had nothing left in the world to study, she’d go through withdrawls.” Probably an exaggeration, but it was objectively true that Twilight was more concerned with books than friends back in the old days.

"So hows the party going for you? Are you here with any of your friends, or are they all still back at canterlot doing their own studies? I know you guys usually travel together when goin' out for a party like this, but I haven't seen any of 'em here so far."

Moony sighed; “Well, you know, I don’t really see the old gang much anymore. Not since we graduated from Magic School. I stayed behind at Canterlot to study Aetherology at the University, and the rest actually moved here to Ponyville. You probably see them around town every so often; tell ‘em I said “hi” the next time you see my ole' pals, you got that Spike?”

Eying the drink stand the baby dragon pointed out earlier, Moondancer decided not to hold up Spike any longer. “You take care, Spike!” she said with a cheerful smile; “I’m gonna’ get myself some blackberry juice, and maybe we can catch up later! I’m sure you got plenty of awesome stuff to talk about.....”

Sweet Surprise spotted a pink manned mare approaching her way, no doubt attracted to the glow sticks. Sweet was surprised that no other pony thought about bringing glow sticks to a party although she was happy to provide some.

"Sure I can give you some," she said but before fetching some the DJ pony appeared with a whole box full of them!

"Wow cool! Well, I'd expect you'd have some behind that booth there. After all, you're the party pony! Hey, maybe next time I go to a dance I can dress in a dress where I can slip glow sticks in. I'll be like a super glowy pony!"

Vinyl gives the mare addressing her a small smirk as she slipped a couple of glowsticks in her own mane, the suggestion not having occurred to her as an idea before...afterall, as a partymare, it seemed like the kinda thing she'd do anyway. The DJ mare chuckles a little and nods in Sweet Surprises direction - giving her a nod of acknowledgement as she passed around a few more glowsticks to those who might be in need of them.

" Yeah, s'just something I come prepared with for a gig like this...admittedly I got a l'il caught up in the moment to properly give any out, hehe! "

Vinyl stretched a little as she floated one over to the young dragon via magical influence - he seemed like an alright l'il thing, maybe this'd help light up his night!

Fuchsia Blooms had approached Sweet Surprise for some glowsticks, but instead she was given a hooffull by another pony, a white unicorn with an electric blue mane.

"Thanks!" she said to both ladies, arranging a few of the glowsticks in her own mane and fastening a few others to the trim on her dress, so they threw little sparkles of light off the sequins.

Turning towards the mare who had given her the glowsticks, she exclaimed, "Hey, you're the DeeJay for this party, right? Can you play something with a little spice to it? Muy Caliente, por favor!" The standard club music was not something Fuchsia usually chose to dance to. Salsa or swing though, that was what she loved to cut loose and shake her flanks.
