Was she proud of what she did to her parents? Not fully. It wasn’t entirely their fault, But, they were the problems of the entire system, not just the game they played. And they paid for it…Oh they paid for it. Midnight would have snapped at Andrea, but she doubted the Human would understand her plight. Would understand what she had done to survive, and, she realized, she didn’t care for Andreas judgement. Let her do what she wanted, the Faunus would continue down her path regardless.

She watched Andrea throw in the flash bomb, and covered her eyes, although the sound nearly disabled the Faunus. Armed with her blade, she walked forwards, dragging the tip of her blade against the ground to try and intimidate her opponent. She looked around, but couldn’t see it. And sniffed, but the flash bomb had distorted the smell. No, she’d have to do this manually. She walked straight forwards, not trying to cover herself. She would find this person, and she’d hack them to pieces!

"They come in various patterns and each have a different purpose." Silver continued to explain. He could have gone on but he could tell something was eating at Slash. Silver knew it had to do with him somehow. "Hey. Is something wrong?"

"There is a lot going on in my life recently. My team isn't doing well and the girl I love hates me." Slash sighed, rubbing the back of his head. "I can't get out of this conversation, Tehengu will have to just make the correct assumption" Slash thought.

While under the desk, Cinder heard the sound of a blade being dragged on the ground. It was an unnecessary action on their part, but it tells Cinder that her pursuer is not a guard. She slowly came out into the open and faced her pursuer(s), realizing that there was more than one. The best part was one of them was the lost kitten, making Cinder smirk in amusement. Things didn't go according to plan, but dealing with these children shouldn't be a problem.

Tehengu's eye narrowed as he spotted the male demonstrating his power to Slash. So he was the one, unless there was another Schnee around. That was very unlikely though, so he assumed Slash had chosen the correct suspect and kept watching them closely. He was paying close attention to the girl watching with him of course, he still didn't trust her.

So their infiltrator made herself known? The mask was an issue, without a face Midnight wouldn't be able to recognise her. But hopefully they caught her before she did whatever it was she was planning. But she did know one thing. This wasn't the doing of the Fang. Was this women working for Torch, or another faction? Without asking she couldn't be sure, yet those were answers beyond her reach. Thankfully, what wasn't beyond her reach was the ability to beat them into a pulp!

Raising her sword off the ground, she paused for a mere second, wondering if she could try get information out of them talking, before opting against it. Time for words was over, now, time for the Faunus to set out on her mission.

Midnight charged forwards, leading with her blade aiming right for her opponents limbs. Close range was her domain, no one would take that away from her!

Aisha blinked. "While you two are talking im going to grab some punch for us." She offered as she let go of silver. "Be right back." She said as she strolled off to the punch table and poured some cups. She blinked, what was this slash kid up to?

While the attack of her opponent was unusual, there was a problem for the infiltrator. Midnight could see the crystals, she could see the path they would take, and therefore dodging them would be no issue for a warrior of her skill! Leaping forwards and dodging out of the original projectile lines, flipping her body to the right of them, reached her blade forwards to strike the left side of her opponent. One hit was what she needed, once blood had been spilled, she could take her.

In the back of her mind, she wondered what Andrea was doing, but, she had, faith. No, faith wasn't the right word, but Andrea wouldn't betray her, that she knew, and could take satisfaction in that if nothing else.

Once Midnight had exited and charged the super spy, Andrea  ducked out of the elevator and behind some desks. Refusing to stay put, Andrea began darting from cover to cover making her way to the back of the room, touching every single computer she could get her hands on on the way. Once she found herself a satisfying spot behind where the infiltrator was, Andrea rolled a bomb underneath the desk and toward her opponents feet ands threw another, more sturdy bomb at the wall with the goal of bouncing it back at her fiendish foe. With her position most likally compromised, Andrea went back on the move, once again touching every computer she could reach. This lady was gonna be in for a heck of a surprise.

Cinder noticed the bombs and jumped away from them, summoning a bow in a burst of flames and shooting it at the bombs to detonate them. Using the explosion as a distraction, she slips away from the girls and heads back to the dance.

Just as Cinder leaves, the elevator doors opens and out steps General Ironwood with a concerned look on his face.

While Midnight did see the bombs that Andrea unleashed, she Wasn't prepared for the infiltrator to use them against her. The explosion caught the Faunus completely off-guard, shielding her eyes as the explosion threw her backwards into a wall. It hurt, but the Faunus had suffered worse, and forced herself to her feet.

Snatching up the blade that she'd been forced to drop during the explosion, she would have started searching for Andrea, when someone else walked into the room. And her heart stopped for a mere moment.

Of course she recognized him. General Ironwood. How could she not, after all, the times she'd heard reports of the General were always the same. 'Lapdog of the Schene family', and that was putting it kindly. She'd never come face-to-face with the general before, although a snide comment she'd left behind after raiding an Atlas train years ago came to mind. Nothing specific, just a bunch of bodies and the words 'Faunus have teeth and claws, don't test us again'. Her biggest question bloomed. What was HE doing here?

Out of nothing but raw instinct, she aimed her blade at him, standing several metres away. "Andr, stay behind me" she informed her teammate, firing a glare at the general "Either you're here to help the spy, or you're here to check on your security, in which I can already tell you they failed at their job" she informed him bluntly.

Ironwood calmly turned towards the girl and narrowed his eyes a little. The lack of respect this girl was showing surprised him, Ozpin has always done a much better job compared to this. Though he was surprised, he didn't feel intimidated at all; the student is foolish to come to those conclusions and foolish to believe she is making the situation any better by pointing her blade at the wrong person. "Neither is the correct reason for my being here, but I thank you nonetheless for confirming my suspicions. Report to Professor Ozpin's office after your classes tomorrow, we have much to discuss. Have a good rest of the evening." he said, turning around to go into the elevator and closed the doors.

Cinder returns to the hall with guards chasing after her. She quickly changes to her dress and tosses her mask away, quickly heading to where her partners were.

Slash was barely holding on until a strangely familiar woman approached them. That slender figure, especially those legs! She suddenly stood next to the Schnee and held onto his arm. "Ah, excuse me, I was just leaving." the male faunus said, heading back to Tehengu. Wasn't the Schnee with the other girl? Or maybe Slash was just being jealous? No, bad Slash! Your heart, soul, and body belongs to Andrea. Your heart, soul, and body belongs to Andrea!

"And that's my exit cue. It was nice to meet you Tehengu, until next time." Ellie smiled, disappearing into the crowd.

'Well, he's not changed. Still a man with a stick up his ass' Midnight would have spoken out loud, but she wasn't certain about confronting her former enemy, after all, the enemy of my enemy, could be a friend. Although, if she was honest, she wouldn't hold her breath. As he left, she found herself confused. Not escorting her out, not even checking to see if SHE was the infiltrator and simply faking to being on his side. So much for the general, he didn't even stay to make sure they'd leave. Placing her sword away, she shook her head.

"General Ironwood" the Faunus snorted "As clueless as I remember him being" she took a deep breath. Whoever that was, they weren't part of the Fang. Was this attack arranged by Roman...? If so, what for? There was much she didn't know, and she didn't like not knowing...

Silver was about to persist in their conversation but he felt it inappropriate. He decided to try and end the conversation and just walkaway but before he could try Cinder was on his arm. He looked at her before turning towards Slash, but before Silver could defend himself, the faunus had left. Silver lightly shook off Cinder before offering her a dance. "How'd it go? Anything go wrong?"

Cinder smirked and let go of Silver's arm, taking his hand and putting the other on his shoulder. "There is nothing to worry about; I took care of the kitten and her friend. What about you, I hope the distraction you made didn't give away our true identities?" she asked.

"Sure. See you later." Tehengu said, watching Ellie leave for a few seconds before his gaze flicked over to Slash. He waited for the Faunus to approach before speaking.

"Well? Was he the one?" He asked simply, watching his teammate.

"There's no doubt about it, he even showed me a glyph. It was a risky move to confront him, but now I am completely sure he was behind the distraction. I think it is also safe to assume his companions are in it too, but I'm still not sure if he's guilty of anything, we'll have to check with the girls." Slash narrowed his eyes and clenched his fist, looking at the Schnee from the corner of his eye.

"I see. We'll have to keep a close eye on him until they get back then." Tehengu looked back at the Schnee, watching the male dance with some unknown woman. He hoped Midnight was ok. Andrea too, he supposed, though to a lesser extent. She was still a teammate, even if he didn't like her much.

Silver shook his head slightly. "There was a tom cat snooping around, but I think I threw him off." He explained quietly as he lead their dance."You might have ruined it thought by holding my arm like you did. He's under the impression that I came here with Aisha" He looked around subtly and noticed that they were being eye'd down by Slash and his other comrade. "So whats our next move?"

"Friends can hold each other by the arm, no? Simple minds will disagree with that." Cinder said, following his gaze and realized they were being watched. "Roman is making preparations for the next stage as we speak, but it won't be ready until a couple weeks from now."

  • 2 weeks later...

(Time skip to next day)

Slash had gone back do their room early the night before; he didn't hear the others come back as he went to sleep as soon as he could. A lot had happened that night, but he needed to stop thinking about it before he does something stupid.

Slash woke up and got off his hammock, still worried about the infiltrators. It was especially difficult to get the Schnee out of his head, looks like it would be quite difficult to concentrate in class today. "Maybe breakfast will help" the faunus sighed, heading to the bathroom to change and get ready.

Andrea had ducked in cover in anticipation after she had thrown the bombs. Upon hearing the explosion, Andrea grinned and looked up just in time to see Cinder slip away " No! Damn it! " Andrea attempted to reach for Cinder but it was to late. She had slipped away and she wasn't going to be able to catch up. " Ugh! Friggen... " She turned toward Midnight and shouted " What the heck were you doing!? We had a job to do! You can't just lay lay there! "

Hearing the elevator, Andrea turned toward it with rage in her soul. Her rage was mildly eased when she noticed just who had entered. " Lap dog? That's General... uh... Steel branch? " Andrea watched  Midnight agro onto the General and got confused. " Why? It's not like he's gonna do anything. " turning toward him, Andrea became more confused. Why see Ozpin? What was going on? Why was he here? Why suddenly leave?

As he left Andreas frustration had re-emerged " Grah! Infiltrator ezcaped, We got busted by the General, Can something else go wrong!? " In an attempt to ven out her frustration, Andrea sent all the electronics that she had touched in the room crashing toward the walls. before heading toward the elevator with or without Midnight.

---------

Andrea had come back at a random point in the middle of the night. Upon arriving she had payed no mind to who was here and where they were as she stripped down and jumped right into bed passing out from exhaustion.

Tehengu had waited for Midnight, heading back to the room with her. Now though, he sat on his bed, inspecting his weapons as Slash went into the bathroom. He was going to head out to breakfast by himself, but now that Slash was awake he'd just go with them. Might as well, all things considered. Until Slash was ready, he continued inspecting his gear.

Midnight, after the encounter with the General, had waited outside, explained to Tehengu what happened, walked back with him, then crashed into her bed, curled up, and sleep asleep. As usual as Slash and Tehengu awoke, the Faunus was still worlds deep embraced by sleep, tossing over only a few times and occasionally making an odd murmuring noise each time she did.

Slash walked out of the bathroom and noticed Tehengu on his bed. "Hey T, are you heading down for breakfast?" he asked, opening the door. He didn't want to wake the girls up yet, judging by the smell of something burnt on their clothes from last night, he would probably get an explanation if they get up by themselves.
