I will check those out in the morning.

You are missing the entire spectrum of british heavy metal.

Get thee to the interwebs and add Iron Maiden post-haste.

I have some Iron Maiden, but itunes wants to be a douche and claim im pirating it.

Yes, you need Def Leppard's first album at the very least.

I kind of also love Fastway for some insane reason, and this local band from Keansburg, NJ called Exxplorer who pot out this kind of amazing album in 1985 called Symphonies of steel:

And if you wanna expand to early seeds of metal (besides Sabbath and Led Zeppelin, of course)

Blue Cheer: Vincebus Eruptum and Inside/outside.

Euclid: Heavy Equipment. (One of my favorite albums ever)

Get The Fratellis' album, "Costello Music"

Get the Paper Tongues album, "PAPER TONGUES"

Get Goldfish - "Soundtracks and Comebacks"

Get Goldfish - "Fort Knox"

Get Goldfish - "Get Busy Living"

Those are the only things that come to mind that I know you'll like. At least, I'm pretty sure you'll like. I've never shown them to someone who didn't like them, anyway.

From this point on, only things that I'm not sure you'll like but I really, honestly do!

Listen to Jonathan Coulton's entire discography. I love Jonathan Coulton so much.

Listen to "Bathtime in Clerkenwell"

Listen to "Don't Stop" by Patrick and Eugene

Listen to "Puzzle Pieces" by Saint Motel

Listen to "Colors" by April Smith

Past that, I don't listen to a lot of newer stuff. Almost my entire mp3 player is made up of oldies ranging from the 50's to the early 70's. Mostly the 50's though. A little 40's.

If you want any oldies or easy-listening type of music, I'm the pony to ask! I love some smooth jazz and gentle acoustic. Of course I doubt you do, nobody seems to really share my love of gentle music.

Nopony's recommended the brony artist DJ Alex S? That guy's a friggin' musical genius.

'Real' artists... let's see. I could recommend a ton of 80s metal/rock/pop artists. Def Leppard, Led Zeppelin, Warrant, Bon Jovi, Aerosmith (okay, that one's more seventies), Billy Joel, Twisted Sister, KISS, Iron Maiden, Europe, Journey, Guns n' Roses, etc. Also get some good golden oldies. The Beatles, the Beach Boys, Johnny Cash, Three Dog Night, the Monkees, Jefferson Airplane and the like.
