What's all this about being blocked by YouTube because you're in the States? I get past that by pretending I'm in England. All the servers fall for my fake accent. Especially the BBC so that I can watch new Doctor Who episodes.

I once ordered food at Subway completely in a British accent. It was fun. I tried the same thing a few days later but with a French accent, and they caught on.

The best part was when I ordered a coffee at Starbucks with a British accent for "Jack Harkness". The teller believed me, but the person that made the coffee laughed when he saw what was written. Great way to pick out geeks.
