So I was in the car with a friend who is not a brony, but who I am trying to convert. The chorus of this song came on, "Don't hate me 'cause I'm beautiful", and my friend says, "It's Celestia's song!"

I was like "wah? Ahahaha yes!"

Story behind THAT is that we were in Wal-Mart the other day, and she was showing me the lack of Rainbow Dash pony toys, because she was looking for one for me for my recent birthday.

There was the big Celestia there, that, when you press the center of her Cutie Mark, she says a ton of different phrases. (I expected like 5, but I kept pushing the button and she kept saying different things!)

Such as:

"My wings are so pretty!"

"I will light the way!"

"My barrettes are so pretty!"

"I love it when you brush my hair!"

And, as my friend added, "I'm so full of myself!"

I thought really hard about these, and they seem to fit very well...

Celestia @ Luna (This is about the reluctant attitude Celestia had about defeating her sister, and the things she may have said to her sister afterwords. Also, it's based on the Celestia-Midnight Moon feud being that of more of a balance of powers rather than the simple "good vs. evil." This setting would have created a very interesting emotion from Celestia.)

(This one was a bit of a stretch. Rarity is kind of hard to find a song for...)

Fluttershy (Fluttershy is even harder than Rarity, because few pop-culture songs can explain or illustrate the personality that is the Fluttershy complex. But, the Beatles have never failed me--this song is perfect for Fluttershy!)

Some are kind of off the beaten path, others I think are right on the nose. (I am often told that I have odd taste in music, so I can't really guess if anyone will like these.)

Bringing this back up because I realised how perfect this is for Nightmare Moon. Imagine it playing just before she breaks free from her moon prison. The "otherworld" is of course Equestria:

The Mane 6 (In Alphabetical Order)

Applejack: Thank God I'm A Country Boy (Well she'd have to have some sort of country song and that's the best I could find, I don't really know very much country music, I actually heard this song in a musical)

Fluttershy: Egao Happy Peace (Take a good look at the lyrics, it matches everything)

Pinkie Pie: I Love To Laugh (from Mary Poppins)/Let Me Entertain You (from Gypsy, really both are perfect)

Twlight Sparkle: Tensai Let's Go Ayayamu from Hamtaro the movie 4 (It's especially fitting if you know the story of the film, Ayayamu is an Author who has an aversion to making friends with anyone besides her two asistants after a bad experience and by the end of the movie has discovered the joys of true friendship)
