Its just so depressing...While it might be sad and such, it is not the first of its kind. I've seen this for Twilight (makes the most sense honestly) and Fluttershy. There's really no reason to overthink it, it's not canon or ever will be. It's an interesting 'philosophical/psychological' thought though, so I find it cool. Good art as well. I dont remember the title since I never read it, but it went something like "will pinkie decide to taker her meds and rejoin the real world, or will she spend this weekend at her birthday party with all her pony friends?" (severely paraphrased) When I saw it, it stung to think there was any possibility at all that this was the case... granted i'm well over it now (unlike a few others...) but yeah, bit of a depressing shock when you first see it.
