Dear Dio -
I've noticed that there is no reference as to whether changelings have no gender, or are with genders like normal ponies. I raise this point because the show changelings were all identical, and almost certainly not all one gender. The lore does not state this. Could you please elaborate? Are changelings genderless?

While we're at it, we might as well specify in the Lore that not everyone in the Royal Guard are clones of one another. Because otherwise, people might forget about animation's budgetary constraints and take the show at face value.

That's true. Still, changelings are so different from ponies and insect-like, Do they simply have no genders? I'd assume that because of the "Hive" function, so only the Queen would be able to reproduce (Save for any "princesses" she makes).

Unless our Lore says otherwise about a particular species, assume that both males and females are appable, and are capable of normal reproduction. If the Lore doesn't elaborate further on such matters, then there's nothing more that needs to be answered. It's not rocket science, you know.
