    I too am looking into a mic, but I have three main conditions: 1: it must be affordable, under $100 2: It must not need some special software just to work, I hate software lock ins thus why I never dumped my old webcam mic. and 3: It must work with linux, I dual boot windows yes but all my software such as video editing is all in linux so reccomendations are welcome for that.

    Well I am planning on a mic real soon, but I first got to up my computer a bit as rendering this puppy took a bit. And I did have a script but I have a mind that sometimes ignores I do, sorry. Also i have some verbal tics I cant help.

    Today I kick off my new series called The Pony Perspective where I talk about MLP:FiM, its fans, its characters, its episodes and my thoughts on certain things when concerning this series. I am unsure how long I will run this or how far I will go before I get sick of it but its going to be a bi weekly series, this week will have an episode but not the next week, however on the week after I will do another one. If I start feeling good about this i might do it weekly I am unsure. Now this first episode is not going to be a review, but about how I became a fan of this series. Now warning this may be a little boring but this is my first shot at this sort of thing so I am unsure if I got the right presentation. This will not be a humor review or anything just some general observations and thoughts. IF YOU CANT WATCH DUE TO COPYRIGHT CRAP: I plan on setting up a blip.tv account as this is a review format video but I have not set one up yet and wont until i get requests to do so.

    Yes i remember that well You see in the pre red furry annoyance days(Elmo as you younger folks know him) there was a character named Mr. Hooper played by Will Lee who died in 1982 and they had a episode called "Farewell, Mr. Hooper" where they acknowledged his death, though did not show it.     Yes but that is only one (mind you poor example) of a show dealing with drugs I have seen drugs dealt with better in other cartoons such as Power Puff Girls

    Thoughts on todays episode: I liked the parallels to Neverending story here, plus the music cue was that from the movie And Pinkie Pie sounded like Alpha Five from Power Rangers at the beginning of the episode. The Rainbow Dash bits were good, but the Indy bits were meh as we have seen indy parodied before.

    I could dig it as long as its got some good writers,as for Liefeld well he is an overall good guy from what I know of him so terrible artist or not he does have a good head on his shoulders.

    I could put down a whole laundry list on why I like this series so much and give a whole lot of detail on my thoughts. But I plan on doing a video on it instead so stay tuned.

    Yeah its possible that Spike was just off his radar, he didnt account for him but even the best villains have blind spots.

    Yeah for me there is no way in heck this will top Dark Knight for me, but I am still looking forward to seeing how this all ends. I mean Begins was about how Batman became Batman and shook things up in Gotham to make things better. In Dark Knight it was about how no matter how much good one can do evil will always find a way to ruin things and even the best of heroes can fall. Rises will obviously be about Batman becoming a hero again but at what cost? Thematically this film will be weaker then the first two as we already know the theme of the movie just from its title, but its still worth finding out how Batman gets back on the good side of Gotham.

    But like I said I have seen this sort of thing in other cartoons so why this has to be different is beyond me. Its a common troupe I am aware of and seen a million times before

    yes but I still wont take the image in the series at face value as i have seen small brains in humans in cartoons before when an anatomy chart is in the BG

    Nah these are cartoon bad anatomy troupes at work here , I would not read too much into it.

    Well yes it will fade over time but it will still thrive in all of us, and it will still be around in some form

    yes but death is a unforgiveable sin in cartoons targeted at this demographic, it will be cancelled in 10 seconds flat.

    But you would not have too much of a plot now would you? Anyhow I know why the CMC exists, they are the characters that the target audience is supposed to relate to even more then the mane 6. Think of this, the CMC represent that need to find what one is best at in order to find ones place in life and its supposed to be like real young girls their age. Actually I think its a good thing we have the CMC so we have some variety, though I will admit I wish they would flesh out some of the mane 6 more like Pinkie and Fluttershy, only one has an episode lined up so far and its not Fluttershy.
