  1. Question for RPers: What would make you want to apply for cast characters in WoE and CC, or why wouldn't you app them?

Right now, I just don't know if I'll be able to meet the posting commitments, considering how much I've got on my plate RP-wise already. I'm slow enough with replies as it is. That said, I've had an absolute blast with Blueblood, and I may app some other cast ones in the future.

I avoid cast characters because everything about them is already set, and development is usually predictable or follows the show.

OCs, while for some more difficult to incorporate than others, give a blank canvas that's flexible and malleable to one's taste.

I'd sure do it for a one-shot thread, but not as a long-term player.

I guess it all boils down to user style and preference.

I would beg to differ on your opinion, Hav0kz. Though it is true the main characters of WOE are very much set, the minor, background characters who have very little screen time and/or lines (the vast majority of Tier 3) ARE a blank slate which presents a great challenge to those who app them. I have a lot of Tier 3's and they can be just as fun to RP with as OC's.
