    Geez, was this two part arc of the comics a major letdown. Comics are still on my pull list but...

      Yeah. Love Price's art, but the two-parter didn't do anything for me. :(

      I thought I was reading an Applejack two part western, not a story where Twilight goes mental with the way she wants to use her magic, Applejack lies lies lies, and the resolution could have taken place the first time they saw the villains. Nothing about Twilight made sense in this arc and it wasn't an Applejack arc at all. I was super excited for this arc and it was a crashing series of poor execution.
