Is this a music question? I started with Jazz, as it was all my father listened to. Then I discovered the radio half of my clock radio, and became enamored with Classic Rock. Then in my third or so year of high school, I discovered VH1 and demanded radio stations that played the Top 40. In searching those those, I found the Alternative station. More high school, I met a friend with a powerful internet connection and I discovered Third Wave Ska. What soothes my soul, though? Oh, lots of things. Mostly, just my comfort zone in music. I always enjoy heightening whatever mood I'm in with appropriate soundtracks! Is this a soulful question? What gets me through my day? My wife. I blame things like the Princess Bride on this, but I believe true love can be the most powerful force in the universe. But enough of that for now. Let's talk about imagination. There's a vast multiverse in my head just begging to be given form, via fiction or comic or video. I wish I could be driven to do more. But those are long term answers, aren't they? Moment to moment, I like smiles. I like laughing. People should be happy, or else something is wrong. I think it's why I act the way I do sometimes (see: Pinkie Pie). I will pratfall, or wear boxes of armor, or make the worst possible pun, etc etc. Laughter is the very best medicine. Remember that when your appendix bursts next week.

I've been a Muppet fan for as long as I can remember. The new movie was heaven! And is... kinda sorta... the inspiration for a PMV... that I'm making... *squeek*

My biggest gripe is how Rainbow Dash turned into a parody of herself. Where's that gutsy little Pegasus, strong enough to roll with the boys, determined enough to shoot for the Wonderbolts, and stubborn enough to never leave her friends hanging? Now she's a narcissist or something. We ALL know that Rarity is the narcissist.

I see absolutely nothing wrong with looking to fictional characters as a beacon of hope, or a source of courage. There are plenty of people out there wearing a Superman emblem, looking to him for his unrelenting optimism and his belief in the good in all people. Grown men cry over Kermit the Frog's "The Rainbow Connection", because it's about belief in something beautiful out there, waiting to be discovered by absolutely everyone. What does MLP:FIM teach us? Honesty, Loyalty, Generosity, Kindness and Laughter. If anyone watches that show, taking those five lessons with them and because of it, becomes a better friend, well, that's magic.

Same. I can think of nobody that I could give a pony gift to and appreciate it. And I'm not expecting pony things this Christmas either. My friends know my wife would bring the hammer down upon them if I got an RD hoodie or something.

This. And seven dollars on a Pinkie Pie figure my wife hates. I got her during a Magic the Gathering pre-release. I saw her and other ponies on the counter. Despire the embargo put on me, I couldn't resist. She has to be why I did surprisingly well during my matches, and why I got a mythic rare. Oh Pinkie Pie. You so random.

Also, I am so jealous I didn't get 42. Douglas Adams joke... wasted...

Well, now we need to get to building that ark. Suddenly, Population over 9000.

Just because my computer and my wife's are right next to each other, she can't help but view how much of my computer time is dedicated to ponies. Will she convert? I doubt it. But at least its in her head. At my job, I'm constantly doodling Pinkie Pie (who is best pony) on the dry erase board, on paper and sticking it to the cork board, etc etc. On Thanksgiving, I drew a big one, tossing confetti and all that noise. Took up the whole board. Later that day, I see a cupcake drawn! That's too accurate, methinks. On Black Friday, I see Derpy. There is a secret brony at my Barnes and Noble. I just need to weed them out.

You know, after reading all that, I think I get Rainbow Dash more. As I was watching the episode a second time, I was thinking "What the hell did her parents do to her that she's like this now?" Meanwhile, RD is thinking "Going fast isn't working and that's all I'm good at." During the scene where she exclaims her one leg up is actually wings, and then Fluttershy goes by. The look on her face? I felt like garbage after that too.

Number one: That's not the actual Joker. It was a body double to throw off the Bat in the episode "Joker's Millions". Number two: They put those two there in round one just to spite me! How dare they make me choose! Number three: WE ARE LEGION!

Caught that! Loved it! Is it just me or is RD, in the last two episodes, turning into a desperate narcissist? "LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME" and other such nonsense. My final thought: Pinkie-sense is continuity now! WOOOO!

I've seen plenty of fantasy worlds with Christmas-but-not-Christmas. The MMO Aion has Solarius. I wish I could think of others. But I'm happy anyway! Whoopie!

Watermarks really show up depending on what codec you use. XVid, for example, is a big no-no. Lagarith is my stand-by. It used to be Huffy, but it's just a piece of dance now.
