After long times of massive amounts of practice doodles, scribbles and staring at several facial expression pics and griffon pics to get an idea of how the body flows, this is the first griffon I've drawn that I feel is a step towards some sort of goal. -
The artist that drew Gilda for the show, has my deepest respect for his skill. This is hard.

So im practicing to draw griffons mlp style. Anyone got any tips or helpful advivce? They are harder then ponies. -_-

The only tip I can give is to make sure you bow out the feathers, don't make them straight lines/curves. If that makes sense.

I'll say this much. Its not easy drawing them. A pony body is easy, but the griffons got a cat and bird. Drawing those two parts to make them at least pleasing to the eye is difficult T_T. Still im not going for perfection, just pleasing enough to the eye and decent is enough.

actually griffons are part lion part eagle........ just saying.
i'd say just plain look it up. that's what i do when i want to draw something

Then develop technology similar to the movie Avatar and permanently transfer my conscious to my own pony body and move there. I will of course offer this to all fellow bronies that wish to do so.

Or become a very good wizard and learn how to open portals to other worlds like in Lev Grossman's "The Magicians" series. Knowing my luck I'd end up in Ponyville..But not in Generation 4.

Apparently there is an Armadillo callled the fairy armadillo cause its six inches or so. I tell you this that is not a fairy. Fairys are small with tiny underpants on. I've seen them. O_O

Okay we got a group. Now we decide on the rp Im thinking two options to start out. 1) Episodic Type: We all seen the episodes, we do an rp similar to an episode where in one or all characters learn something about friendship. 2) Adventure!: Adventure is not limited to a great quest. It could be as simple as say, tryin to get to a party, or something. Maybe babysit a foal, who leads the characters through a series of slap stick comedy moments, like say getting into a gorilla enclosure at a zoo and causing one of the characters to get tossed by the ape who likes the kid and doesn't want the characters taking it from him*Like in that movie Baby's Day Out. If you haven't seen it look it up. Very funny.* any other ideas or we can pick one of the two choies and set a stage for an rp
