1. Darn it Frost! You beat me to it! Well, nonetheless, welcome to Canterlot, and I hope you have a good stay here!
2. Sorry about that, I think I have become impatient. One thing: Is it okay if I edit out some things? I found some descriptions on things such as mane, tail, and coat unnecessary, so I removed it. Also, I took out some errors and off-topic information. Is it also good if I put down a trivia for the application for the less important information?
3. Lesson learned: Watch the movie's reviews before renting the movie. Pathfinders: In the Company of Strangers was pretty bad, in my opinion; poor special effects, no actual storyline and barely any sense of logic. But that's just me, it depends on you if you think it's good or not, but be warned. I don't think anyone wants to hear my movie criticism, anyway. Watched Taken 2 after that, more action-packed, though a bit predictable. The first movie in the Taken series was better, however.
4. The Call of the Wild and White Fang, by Jack London.
5. This. I would explain everything in it, but that'll ruin it. Plus, it won't be sad anymore.
6. I have done nothing but look at old Canterlot posts all day.

If you say so, yes. In the 70th mark or so, you see much more of the active veterans. Though I was only doing that because the chat room was near empty.

3. StarStorm

It can be a lot of fun to do that!!

7. Sorry for double posting, but I wanted to bump this app. Even though I supposedly have to wait, I'm not completely sure if the RPH are seeing things or not. You could delete my post if you want, just waiting for feedback. I understand if you're busy.
8. I have a feeling that your avatar pony is from a deviantart...that picture looks awfully familiar...

9. I believe I've said it in chat, but I want everyone to take note. MLP isn't going to be ruined nor ended. Season 4 would still air. And even if the episode comes out bad, it's not going to ruin the whole season, though it'll probably be like a plane crash to an end flight. Wait, that's contradicting. Never mind.
10. I was watching old movies yesterday. Gattaca, then Back to the Future III, then Flowers for Algernon. The last one made me kind of cry, in fact.
11. Trixie: For mainly attacking, doing some serious damage with her dark magic power. Nurse Redheart: Will come in handy for healing. Zecora: Able to both attack and heal. The benefits are unlimited! Berry Punch: Hey, you need somepony to tank everypony else, right?
12. You might want to switch your title to [WIP] if you're still working on your RP and will have to edit it in intervals.
13. In my opinion, I disagree with the idea. The main reason is that guns and other firearms would be relied too heavily to give interest on the story line. Even if limited ammo was given, 20th century guns would seriously kill the feeling of the Assassin's Creed series. Barely does the game ever show these kind of guns. (except on parts where it switches to Desmond again at the present) With these, it might turn AC into more of a FPS game. My best guess is they will continue on to the 19th century, or soon after the Revolutionary War. On these times guns are still flintlock, caplock, falling block, and revolvers. Most of these are still able to give the "taste" of the game, as AC focuses more on swords, axes, and all that. Oh, and hidden blades, too.
14. Might have ended for most people now, but anyway... Happy Valentine's Day/ Hearts and Hooves Day to everyone!
15. Roleplay Type: Mane RP Name: Long Drive Sex: Male Age: Colt, nearing adolescence. Species: Earth Pony Eye colour: Bright green Coat: Wondrous blue Mane/Tail Pure white. His mane is short and rather spiky, and parts to the left side (to his view). His tail bear similar traits to his mane, though it is much longer. Physique: He's shorter than your average pony. He has no evident body build. Residence: Hoofington, moved to Manehattan Occupation: Student Cutie Mark: "Golf used to be a rich pony's game." His cutie mark is a golf driver's hostel and face, with a golf ball. Long Drive actually didn't like golfing at first, to be honest, thinking it was too tiring and was a "working pony's game". His father's occupation was a public golf club maintainer, and mostly he'll just sit outside, watching other ponies swing their iron clubs away. It wasn't until then that, he felt like in the golf course, he wasn't part of something. For such a long time he has been observing other ponies swinging thousands of times, yet he hadn't tried it once. By his parents urging, he bought some golf clubs and a bag and tried it out for himself. It kept him out of boredom, and as his mother said, "Only boring ponies say everything's boring." It wasn't until that faithful day, when his life would change as he knew it. He was on Course 12, a 5 shot to par course. He somehow felt like he was not simply swinging the driver himself, but instead, he felt like the driver was part of him. Unexpectedly, he swung the golf ball off the tee, the golf ball's trajectory going awfully far. Using approximate length of the course, they said that Long Drive himself has hit a brilliant length of 370 or so yards right off. And to prove that, he even got his cutie mark in the time being. Even though his length wasn't even close to the top 10 professional swings of that time, it was a good start for him. Knowing that his cutie mark proved where he had to go next, he continued playing the hobby of golf ever since. History: Long Drive and his once originally lived in the bustling city of Hoofington, in a decent apartment. Long Drive like to call the road where he used to live in the "Crowded Road", since every day you could find no less than a hundred ponies at that street. His father owned a golf course, and he took fair education at Hoofington. Long Drive and his parents profited, though they never were too rich. His city life was coming to an end, however. As there were more prosperous ponies, more private golf course were made from the rich. Long Drive and his family found it difficult to profit from such anymore, and they were hoping to "temporarily" move to Manehattan to continue their living. Character Summary: Long Driver's talent, as the name relates to, is playing golf. Despite have little physical body build, thanks to his quick force he is able to make fairly far shots. Although his talent is golf, he is not 100% great with the sport. He attempts to work on it so his skill is near perfection. With his new hobby of golf, he continues to play the sport in his leisure, hoping to be a professional player one day. He also has high hopes of "getting an albatross", or three shots below par, once in his life. An albatross in golf to be recorded in history was rare enough, and he hoped he would be part of that. He does enjoy doing something different every day, though. Long Drive likes to read science fiction and mystery genre books to pass the time if a golf course isn't available. He also likes to type up his own stories with his trusty typewriter- he has a less glamourous hoofwriting. Long Drive is creative and doesn't mind change as long as it is fine with him. He tries to correct other ponies' errors if he sees one, and has great effort on what he does. In fact, in his own philosophy, nopony could understand others unless they consider things from his or her point of view. He has poor initiative and leadership, however. He never liked to be a leader; the whole thing to him was too much work and was better off for somepony else. He has a headstrong and stubborn personality nopony could change. Long Drive always believes what that his actions is right and keep it final. Because of this, it is also difficult to change his mind on what he does. He also purposely encourages other ponies to challenge him, most likely because he likes the pleasure defeating another opponent, even though the other has no obvious chance of winning. He also has a fear of heights, or acrophobia for short, making him stay away from places of high heights. Picture of Long Drive:
16. I've been thinking about this, but is it okay to have an OC who has a disorder or syndrome, as long as it doesn't alter the OC's sanity or such? Is it still fine if it has reference to a human, for example, Asperger's Syndrome?
17. Search for these two words, and then Canterlot.com is the first search choice.
18. So as I explored more of this site, I've noticed a large icon below either the post count, or the character log if someone had one, and it varied from person to person. Not all of them had it, however. May someone tell me what are those icons are? Are they somehow involved in roleplay?
19. Welcome to Canterlot, then. (Wait, I'm new.) Also, Gearlock, being a blacksmith is a pretty good reason why you have to wear goggles. Most of the time, at least.
20. Again , I think it's best I don't say it. Its not because I find the forum there inappropriate, but the forum actually references to a game, so referencing to it would somewhat be advertising another site.
21. If I'm correct, I think the avatar the OP had before had...some gore in it. But it looks like he edited it.
22. About Myself: I'm a (Chinese) Asian American brony. I'm a rather avid chess player (played it for years) and like reading mystery genre books, though I also read science and historical fiction. How I found Canterlot.com: I've found this nice RP site from another RP site I played in. Eventually curiosity got the best of me when I tracked another brony's name to this site. The site seemed interesting and exciting, and so here I am. How I became a fan of MLP:FiM: It was early June, and I was solely bored, wandering around forums I constantly post on, along with other sites. To be honest, I had no interest what-so-ever on the MLP show, until I noticed that everywhere I went, I inevitably would bump onto bronies of the MLP community. I watched the show myself to see why everybody (pony) actually liked his show. Soon, only after I watched multiple episodes, did I finally admit that I was a brony myself, and I began to be "assimilated" into the "herd". In fact, MLP is the reason why it changed how I see life today. My favourite main cast pony/s: AppleJack,Twilight Sparkle Some things about myself. (Sorry if there's some spelling errors in my previous parts, as I'm using an IPad to write this down. Auto-correct can be annoying at some times.) I'm, like I stated before, a roleplayer, though most of time I do Adventure based RPs, with or without pony. I'm hoping to do some Life based RPs now to leave the adventurous roleplaying behind and play a less bumpy life of a pony. I tend to make most of my OCs out of traits from myself or hobbies I enjoy, and I like to balance out the types of ponies I use, sometimes in a specialized pattern (ex: Unicorn, Earth, Pegasus.), and I often change what I do, such as switching avatars every months/X amount of posts. Well, that's about it! To sum it all up, hello to Canterlot.com! I might start RPing as soon I apply and finish up the rules!
