The simplest form of what the show shows us is canon.Head-canon: anything assumed, suggested, or extrapolated from canon, that the show does not actually confirm. I would also like to point out that you can be extremely affectionate with members of your own sex without being attracted to them or romantically involved with them. Let's just say that there were a lot of misconceptions about me in high school that I refused to confirm or deny publicly, because it was stupid of people to care about in the first place.
