MudBug Posted March 14, 2011 Report Share Posted March 14, 2011 So, when the new series came out I was enraptured by it so much I just had to draw something.My first attempts were...well...they were pap, but recently the style has gotten much better with more references I've been looking at.So here are the misfit menagerie of doodles I set before you.^My first character MudBug with her own typography.^My second character Bumps-A-Lot, male anatomy is semi-difficult to grasp at this moment.After that I infused my love of ponies with my love of Warcraft and thus none of my friend's characters were safe after that.So for your enjoyment.The WoWnies.^ Friend's Hunter, Warlock and Paladin.^ My Warlock with little cousin's baby mage and pally.^Friend's Pally and Priest.^Mine and my friend's Death Knights.I hadn't drawn any ponies for weeks afterwards until recently.Thus my grasp on the style became more refined.^ My Paladin Healer.^My friend's Warlock.And recently my style has taken a slightly smoother look.^ My dentist character Spearmint.^A clean MudBug.A random pegasus stallion.WHITESPACE.And Spearmint's Dentist practice.^What Bumps-A-Lot wishes he could be, a gallant Knight.A Frank Sinatra-ish pony crooner with a greaser hairstyle.And baby MudBug...so sweet it practically gave me diabetes drawing it.^A cruelty of mine, poor MudBug...in a dress.^Because everypony was young once, a younger Granny Smith.Looks like AJ got it from that side of the family for sure. xP^Scene based on the semi-canon history I gave Granny Smith.Young Smithy and Maple Leaf.Aaaaaand that's pretty much it. Elegant Mud Bug makes Bramble Rose go *jawdrop* "buhhhhh..."The Duke just makes me laugh. He's all regal and manly... and bright pink...Sir Bumps-a-lot would have to be good friends with my friends' character in the story I'm writing: Doc Heartmend. Whose cutie mark is a heart with a band-aid on it.Your paladin healer is FAR too adorable.If my aunt was still alive, I'd get her a custom Spearmint made... she loved her work as a dentist.And yes. MudBug Posted March 17, 2011 Author Report Share Posted March 17, 2011 Inspired by drawing Rainbow Dash Jnr for the Canterville RP, I got into a strange habit of drawing the rest of the cast's 'kiddies'.This is just my take on them, they're not for the actual roleplay, if you'd LIKE to use their designs for the RP then ask. ^^[attachment=0]FriendshipisMagickids.png[/attachment]First up is my take on Fluttershy's son, looks like he's been hanging around her aunty Rainbow Dash.To his right is AJ's daughter with her own blueribbon cowgirl hat.The two duo-coloured twins are Pinkie Pie's sons who've I affectionately called 'Bubblegum' and 'Banana', looks like a pair of pranksters to me.Last but not least is Rarity's son, her pride and joy and a primp little prince in his own mind.May draw my take on Twilight's 'kid' but might not.Enjoy.
