I hate MyLitteBrony

Ho boy! How I've got somethin' to say...

MyLittleBrony is just a division of the ICanHazCheesburgerz scheme. ICanHazCheesburgerz owns things like Fail Blog and Know Your Meme. Many people remember when Fail Blog was bought by ICHC and how its quality dropped faster and farther than a bottomless pit. Several people may recall that Know Your Meme was once Encyclopedia Dramatica. These and many other site purchases were part of ICHC master plan: to make money!

ICHC is a turn-key operation. All they did was open a site, the rest(pictures, video, etc.) were created/submitted by people who join the site. This cause more people to come and see; these people end up doing the same as those before. This continued until it got millions of views a day. And what did ICHC do? Advertisement. The opened ads which pretty much poured money into their pockets. They used this money to purchases previously popular sites and converted them into their own and repeated their process. ICHC does NOTHING and makes hundreds of thousands by doing so!

And what is so wrong with this? Everything. They are destroying the quality and meaning of things like Memes. If you would to go on to the "ICHC Fail Blog", you would find: 90% of the "fails" are not fails(misunderstanding, purposely made to be funny), 9% are staged, and only 1% are actually good.

It is these reasons why Anonymous has put ICHC as second on "List of Internet Cancers to Cleanse". (Furries are first)

MyLittleBrony is just one of the latest in a long line of abominations of the Internet(s[z]).

That's my 2 Cents on the subject.

Has ThereIFixedIt been taken over yet? I actually enjoy going to that site and looking at the quality pictures of MacGyverisms and just plain poor planning/execution of remodels. I freely admit to being a furry but Anonymous doesn't scare me. Their first priority ought to be FOX News, not furries, I will agree to ICHC being cleansed second.

I agree with getting rid of ICHC. Being a fan of furry art (clean ones) I don't think it should be cleansed, but I digress. Any site that turns another site into just another sign board for ads is bad.

I noticed Halolz does this as well... It mostly bugs me because the banners sometimes covers up the punchline, and it's just annoying... how hard would it be to ad another 12 pixels to the bottom of the image for the banner to it doesnt block anything? That way we can edit it out of the image... or maybe have a 'download original' button to get the original file.

If that's true, then my respect of Anonymous has dramatically dropped.

On topic though, YouTube is going in the same direction as MyLittleBrony. YouTube was once a large open media video sharing site for you to Broadcast Yourself. Now YouTube is now just a counterpart of the Google search engine which is filled with attention seekers, and corrupt YouTube partners.

I've gone on MyLittleBrony twice or thrice. It's nothing special, as I can find the same images uploaded on that site on either deviantart, ponibooru, or occasionally EquestriaDaily. It shouldn't have a banner added to every single image.

I look at ICHC sites usually whenever I want to grt a small laugh. Usually, I'll looked at Memebase, Rage Comics, Pokememes, and Set Phasers to Lol. My Little Brony is another thing I may ir may not look it. Remember, the content is user generated.

Although it is a giant money making scheme, it dosen't mean you can't like it.

I completely understand why you dislike it though.

Several people may recall that Know Your Meme was once Encyclopedia Dramatica.

Actually, it's OhInternet that used to be Encyclopedia Dramatica. The owner of the site was so dissapointed about how fast the quality of the site dropped by 2011 that she deleted the site and restarted it as OhInternet. ED was never bought by CIHC.

I don't have anything against it. Like any other website that's an offspring of memebase and failblog

or such, it has it's faults - including banners and annoying crap like that. Should that stop us from enjoying

the ponies, though? Not for me, I go on there every once in a while and have myself a good laugh on occasion.

The banner issue seems like a pet peeve to me, but It's understandable to me nonetheless, especially if the uploader reuploaded content from someone else without their permission.

It's completely understandable.

Is it as bad as Ponibooru?

What's bad about Ponibooru?

It's a bit better, considering there's no smut, porn, or explicit imagery.

It's still bad though due to heavy reposting and copying of other's pictures and what not.

You know that explicit images aren't showed by default? And suggestive are under a suggestive thumbnail?

I have mixed feelings about Ponibooru. I usually hate it and myself when I don't put every single kind of image from safe to explicit in spoiler thumbnail.

What?

Funniest part is that the new version of encyclopediadramatica has a higher traffic rank than ohinternet.

I thought KYM used to be owned by Rocketboom?

It is owned by Rocketboom.

How do you think the artists feel when they don't get proper credit for their work, and cheezeburger gets profit from stealing?
