  1. Oooo, this is a wonderful way to share what I'm thinking at the moment, isn't it? Shame I didn't find it earlier...

  2. She could plan an early retirement? Honestly though, I suppose this is another subject best left to the fanfictions. Maybe I'll find the time to sort out the problems and make it head cannon later.
  3. That reminds me, I remember reading somewhere (cannot remember where) a person had hypothesized she really was an evil enchantress. Though maybe not one who did evil dances. Anyway, imagine what a plot twist that would be! :!:
  4. Oooo, creativity is nice. I can certainly respect that. Welcome to Canterlot! I'm certain you'll fit in, especially with what seems to be an everypony is best pony attitude. Oh! Before I forget, please take your complimentary derpy emote!
  5. To equate it to something I find somewhat similar, I've always just assumed that being a brony is like being a nerdfighter. There is a solid definition, but very little requirements to become one. As in, if you want to be a brony, you are one. Simple as that.
  6. Well, I would think that the Everfree must have something that could pose as a worthwhile villain in it. After all, things just don't get that spooky. Think about it: if Discord being trapped in stone had no effects on the garden he was trapped in, just imagine what would have to be so terrifying that it could posses the entirety of a remarkably large forest to be as dangerous as Ponyville makes it out to be. Of course, assuming said force is trapped in the Everfree...
  7. This. I completely sympathize with you here, as I'd be lying if I didn't think the exact same thing. Being forgotten is truly an awful thing, isn't it?
  8. Well, technically it was popping through a hole in the fourth wall that just happened to be there... But I digress
  9. Well lets see, I am terrified of a few things, but I only have one rather severe phobia, which would have to be needles. *shudders* When I say phobia, I mean to the point where I can't even stand looking at one (although, I suppose that's the idea of a phobia). Many a good movie scene has been ruined for me because of injections, and I am very unlikely to be a blood donor. The whole idea just feels... creepy, and wrong, and it really has ruined my day on at least one occasion.
  10. Oh hey, I must say, I'm quite the fan of the Doctor myself. I figure we'll get along smashingly, so welcome to the site! Here, have a complimentary Derpy emote
  11. Well Chapien, you bring up some rather fair points. Though, I suppose if they weren't fair, you wouldn't have brought them up in the first place... Anywho, I do believe I've managed to fix said points. I apologize for any delay.
  12. I'm game for a few questions, so without further adieu: 1. I really do love family appreciation day, Granny Smith is awesome in this one. 2.Twilight Sparkle, annnnd probably Luna. If she doesn't count, then Sweetie Bell 3.Don't have one. 4.Same as three. It's not that I don't love brony art or music, I just don't like limiting myself with favorites. 5.Benjamin Button (yes really) 6.Take a guess. Go on, you have three tries. 7.I only have one approved/officially finished. So, Fantasy Trope by default 8.Assuming I can count ones not from this site, I had an excellent Legend of Zelda gerodu character but the forum shut down before I could use her to any extent . Heck, she was my first OC. 9.Twilight Gatling Gun! (or Pinkie and her party cannon. Either/or) 10. Archaeologist 11.Never gave it much thought 12.My little pony: the mentally advanced series 13.Le sigh... Appleshy 14.OH DEAR CELESTIA, NOT THE CUPCAKES!!! 15.What are you, a dictionary? 16."Ah, but I know something you do not not know" "What is that?" "I am not left-handed!" 17,Eleventeen, or the square root of negative one. Again, either/or. 18.Hinata, from Naruto
  13. Well then, without further adieu, let the greetings commence! I hope that you enjoy your stay here in canterlot, and please, feel free to take a complimentary twilight emote -
  14. Viva la revolution of the night! Glory be to the patron saint of stars, the monarch of the moon, the lord of the land of darkness, and the nightmare on the moon! Let there be an end to the tyranny of the sun! Celestia is a decent princess, but in the end there can be only one. Praise Luna! Well, maybe I took that a bit far, but my point stands.
  15. Why thank you, sir! I must admit, I do have my moments

  18. Indeed, welcome to Canterlot! I have to say, the fan music really is incredible. Enjoy your stay, and try to avoid staring contests with cockatrices.
  19. Well, you certainly bring up some fair points. I suppose I did tone down the cutie mark story a bit too much now that you point it out. Anywho, I do believe I've fixed the concerns you had, so feel free to look it over. If it turns out that they don't quite work, I trust you'll point them out. Oh, and thank you for the criticism!
  20. Roleplay Type: World of Equestria RP lining Name: Silver Lining Sex: Mare Age: Mare Species: Pegasus Eye Color: Oddly enough, her eyes are lavender in color Coat Color: Her coat is a very bright yellow, and more or less comparable to sunlight Mane/Tail/Markings Color & Style: Her mane is cloud white in color and indeed they look identical in coloration when placed next to each other. She doesn't often comb or trim it so it is rather long. Although it holds together surprisingly well, it still looks rather messy. The estranged look does work on her, but only because she's grown into it. At first glance she would even appear eccentric to most. Her tail is more or less the same as her mane. Really, she doesn't often care about how she looks because she simply doesn't think about it. Physique: More or less average. As a flyer she can get around, and she isn't exactly a slacker on four hooves either. While she isn't nonathletic in any way, she just isn't remarkably fit. What is a game changer and makes her much more amazing to witness is how she does know her limits. When flying about she can actually see the point where she'd start to get tired and she manages to stop before then. This gives the onlooker the appearance that Silver doesn't really have a limit. She does, she just knows them really, really well. Cutie Mark: Why, a cloud of course! Well, it is a touch more complex then that. Well it is very clearly a cloud, it appears to be shaped like a pony. It doesn't have a terrible amount of detail, it still outlines the shape fairly accurately, giving a puffy sort of silhouette look to it. It does reflects a good deal of who she is, really. For instance, not only does it show her talent with shaping clouds, it also represents how light and airy she can be. Most of the time, she is like the cloud. That is to say, she drifts about and is happy with life in general. On the flip-side, she isn't exactly air headed, but she isn't very grounded either (in fact she's kind of nervous of the ground). While most of the time she is fairly easy going, Silver's personality can get very stormy from time to time. She builds up a great deal of tolerance, and might even get worked up in the same way a storm cloud would rain, until she bursts with excitement or rage that has been likened to lighting striking. It is fast, doesn't last long, and leaves little warning of both when it while happen or some trace that it did. Origin/Residence: Born and raised in Cloudsdale, where she continues to live today. However, it isn't exactly odd to see her take somewhat long vacations to find some muse or material elsewhere (by which I mean pretty much anywhere in Equestria that happens to strike her fancy) Occupation: Silver is an artist, and a fairly popular one at that. What sets her apart, however, is her material. While other ponies would sculpt or paint or draw or even play music, she creates statues of sorts out of clouds and the weather Motivation: What any artist would be motivated by - to see her work enjoyed by the masses and to be applauded for the effort she's put forth. Not only that, but to just have fun making things as well. Likes: Clouds, the sky, rain, storms, keeping upbeat, cloud sculpting, any aspect of the weather (with one or two exceptions), creativity, and birds. Oh yes, birds are quite wonderful. Dislikes: Weather ponies, weather schedules, clear skies, judgmental ponies, art critics, and the ground. Its just too... earthy... Character Summary: Being raised in Cloudsdale would seem almost cliche for a pegasus, and indeed her early years were spent in much the same way that you expect. She never really had much cares and just flew around with her friends all day. Indeed, before some of her friends began focusing on flying, she was on par with them in races. Anyways, What perhaps led to her absent-mindedness happened at about this age. While other ponies began finding their talents and ways in life, at first Silver wanted nothing to do with cutie marks. Not because she didn't want a special talent, but more because she just didn't care. She was much too content just flying from cloud to cloud and playing with weather. In fact, both of her parents were weather ponies, so just by watching them Silver was able to become rather adept at manipulating clouds. As a filly, Silver spent a great deal of time exploring the skies around Cloudsdale and spent many an afternoon trying to memorize the constantly changing skies. She began to gain a certain admiration for weather and in the same way one might have a pet rock, Silver even kept a pet cloud for much of her youth. Fittingly, the first thing that ever inspired her in her life were the clouds themselves. As she kept exploring, she noticed rather fondly that certain clouds would look like the shapes and outlines of other things like dragons or other ponies. Of course, how can one not notice this without trying to make shapes with clouds personally? While her first attempts looked like little more than blobs, she became rather adept at the process over a few months of practice. Eventually, she began wanting to show others her work, but first they needed to be great. No... not just great and not just good, they needed to be GRAND! So Silver got to work, and toiled through several weeks trying to achieve perfection. It did get a bit difficult with the winds, and she even lost her clouds a couple of times and had to start over. Eventually though, she did finish with a cloud that looked identical to a dragon about twice the size of a pony. As she put in the last tuft of storm clouds she had saved from the last storm to imitate dragon smoke, she came to an epiphany. After all the lost half finished sculptures floating around somewhere, and all the days either spent or lost, she had finally finished, and she was truly overjoyed. At that moment, Silver knew very well what she wanted to do from that point on. As she stood there, all the countless ideas and inspirations went to her head, and she was struck with the limitless possibilities of what she could create. In fact, she was so inspired that her cutie mark appeared, and it was even conveniently shaped to reflect her talent. After whizzing around for about an hour she realized it was starting to get late, she figured she would come get her cloud the next day and show her parents, or her friends, or everypony else. Besides it was rather late to drag her first masterpiece home, and was about a mile away from Cloudsdale itself anyways. Of course, she wasn't expecting the weather ponies to call a clear sky. The next day she flew out to the spot she KNEW she had left her cloud dragon, only to find literally nothing but clear skies. Needless to say, Silver was furious. She stormed straight to the weather factory to try and get some form of retribution, but was laughed out of the building. Clouds, to them at least, were meant to be controlled for weather purposes and that alone. The idea of a pony using them as art was just rather silly, honestly. Thus began the long feud between Silver Lining and the Weather Patrol, as she would consistently create her art only to have them be cleared out or lost in storms hours to days later. As she got older she even tried a bit of public protesting, such as covering the doors of the cloud factories with storm clouds overnight. It never got worse then that, and she gave up on it fairly quickly solely because it took up to much time. Before she had moved out of her parents house, they had pressured Silver to try competitive flying, but she never showed interest in it. Her father was actually a amateur flyer himself, and he expressed interest in having Silver follow in his footsteps. She did eventually try it, just so she'd have something to do besides play with clouds, but she never had any aptitude for it. All she really learned was just how far or fast she could get before she started to get tired, such as being able to fly a few laps with ease before altogether collapsing. When it came to actual racing, at best she could get fourth or third place somewhat often, but only on smaller tracks. Despite finding this very helpful in years to come, she never got much further with competitive flying, and once Silver was old enough to move out, she stopped this altogether in favor of her preferred career. In the years to come, Silver Lining would eventually get bored of Cloudsdale. Yet, she felt she couldn't leave, because it was where she was born after all. So instead she began taking somewhat random vacations to different cities (chosen by tossing a small tuft of cloud into the air and going in the direction it blows off in). Her first vacation of many was one to remember though. First off, as she went to her destination of Trottingham, she realized that she had never set foot on the ground, and was actually a bit scared too. Essentially, her first visit to a town rooted in earth was her, floating on a cloud, and flying down and back up quickly whenever she needed food. The only thing that made her want to go on other vacations were the clouds. Perhaps she was a touch crazy, but they ones she found were ...different then the ones in Cloudsdale. Somehow. Anyways, the important thing coming out of that was her decision to make her trips a regular thing. Even though she never really got used to the ground, Silver did manage to at least not be terrified of it.

  22. Maybe I can help a little. What about Star Dust? That has a nice ring to it.
  23. A movie is yes, just as long as it isn't put in theaters as those above me have stated. However, if there would be I movie, I would like to formally request the rebirth and return of Lord Smooze.
  24. Velcome, and may your stay on Canterlot be a long and joyous one! In fact, here! Take a complimentary derpy emote!
