I don't fully understand the rage of Day One DLC. Can someone explain without the rage?

Maybe other people have got to this already, but I think the issue people have is that it's content made prior to the game's release and therefore 'could' have been added to the base game but is listed as a separate product. So, it's perceived as an attempt to sell the same thing multiple times. From what I hear, the reality is both more reasonable and more complicated than that.

If you're bored but worried about burnout, split the difference maybe? Reply to one or two, see how you feel after that.

A question for all of you: how can thee role playing experience on this site be improved?

Reorganizing FFA around the sort of RP people are looking for (short vs. long posts, crossovers, main characters vs. OCs, stuff like that). I think that would encourage more players and more variety in FFA.
That said, I am enjoying myself as is. So I don't think it needs improvement per se.

Are your characters allowed to be famous in other cities in CC or WoE?

Yeah, I did get cut off by the word limit, but it still seemed to work so I left it. I wanted to add that, if you still wanted to go for being universally known, my approach would be to make a character who is up and coming and has a desire to be famous, and then try to work toward that in threads. That's what I would think is the other big option.

Hmm. I couldn't say specifically, but here's what comes to mind: you're allowed to make a character who knows ponies in other cities. You're not allowed to force a relation on other characters. So, you probably couldn't make a household name (i.e. a character that everyone should have heard of), but I think you can make them reasonably famous within certain spheres. So say, a well known researcher in their field, or part of a popular underground music group or the like...

I have an idea of a new rp, but this one needs to aged to perfection (So to speak). In the mean time, I'ma reopen one of my older rps.

The busiest part of the end of an event is updating my character logs!

It's going to be hard getting back to my normal RP threads after this event. It's excited me in a way that most of my RP's haven't in quite some time.
