Hawkeye12 Posted October 12, 2015 Report Share Posted October 12, 2015 It was a story that simply started out as a mere rumor from the Royal Equestrian Army, but soon spread all over the rest of the land. A house filled with strange magic, dark magic, that appeared once a year for only 24 hours, beginning at midnight on Nightmare Night. It wasn't just any house though, it was a mansion, owned by extremely wealthy unicorns that vanished long ago. This family was well known on the social ladder, but the story goes that one day they vanished without a trace. However, the family's magic was believed to be 'left behind' some how, with spells unknown cast on it. But somewhere within the mansion, a treasure is kept. A sacred treasure of the family, believed to not only contain wealth, but the secrets to happiness and whatever else one could desire. Ponies have led expeditions to this house before of course, but they would return with no knowledge of even going there. So, it's that time of year again. Time for the spooky threads to appear! And since I haven't gotten much use out of a certain multi species hybrid character that I happen to play, I figured I might as well take advantage of it. The plot I have is obviously cheesy, but I figured this would make for a fun NMN themed thread. So if your character would like to explore a totally not suspicious mansion in search of treasure, then here ya go! It's actually the first time in a long time (I mean, haven't done this since my chat rp days) I've GM'ed a tread like this. But hey, might as well give it a shot again. Because messing with people is so much fun heheh. So what does this mansion hold? What is this sacred treasure? Well, I'm not telling you, you'll have to find out! XD I'll get the OP up in a couple days, but I just wanted to point out that this thread will probably end up being a bit...er, slow. I'm an admittedly slow poster in the first place, but I'll probably have to do a bit more work on this rp than the other ones that I'm in. XD@Brocialism: Nah, I'm not that cheesy. I do have some ideas for the end, but I'm not sure which one I'll end up going with. It's going to end up being a plan as I go type of thing, aside from a couple plot twists to keep things exciting~@Tacobob: The more the merrier! Actually, I'll open this up to one more slot, but either way I'll try to get the thread up tomorrow. Also might add a character of my own alongside Discord...or might not. This might be better suited for one of my kid characters...And since Fast Track is in ZERO active RPs at the moment..Can I use him instead?
