We all notice something about are dreams, if im to guess. We usually end up in the middle of them, not remembering on how it began. We become so hooked on what we ee that we are unable to differienate between reality and dreaming. However, the cases of where we become aware that the wrold around is a creation of our thoughts; the power of lucid dreaming. Where inside those dreams, inside our own worlds; we're god. We can do whatever we want, or desire.

Share your lucid dreams ^_^ :D

Iv'e only ever lucid dreamed 6 times in my entire life.

My latest one was where I was standing outside my home on a foggy day, whilst the sun shined down through the fog. Thier was a strange itchin in the back of my head, telling me that what i was seeing wasnt real. I couldnt explain it, but I couldnt help but have the funiest feeling that something was up. I closed my eyes, and wisehd that the fog was go away. When I opened them, the fog had vanished without a trace. Looking up at the sun, i then narrowed my eyes at it and wished it would be earlier in the day. My eyes widdened in shock at the sight of the sun moving across teh sky backwards. And then it hit me: I was dreaming!!

Excitment crept through me as I realized I had the power to do whatever I wanted in this world. Staring at my hands i imagined blue electircty running through them Like Cole from INfamous. Moments later, Lighiting shot out of my hands as I flew into the sky!! I felt so free!! Like nothing could go wrong!! Thats when the sky started to darken, a feeling of dread creeping through me. Through the blackness of the sky, a red haze stared to apperar as the outline of Gigyas from Earthbound started to appear. His theme played, scaring me as the nightmare slowly started to take place.

But this was my dream!!! My world!!! And if i wanted the nightmare to disapper, it would disapper!!! Glaring detemeirnd, I raised back a ligthing fist and shot out a concentrated blast from my palm. It struck Giygas at full strength, disentigrating him as his screams echoed in my ear. Closeing my eyes, I wished to wake up. And when I opened them, I was awake.

My Lucid dreams are constant. I have a very extensive Dream Journal chronicling my adventures.

Bascially I'm the leader of the Mercenary group called The Order of Galia. Our homebase located in the Satellite of Love(The exact same one in MST3K). Me and my other mercenary comrades(who are all my party members in Tactics Ogre). Board our TARDIS and go to into different dimensions to fight for money, power and women.

I've had tons of these things. I have one maybe three or four times a week. most of them are really short or boring though :P most are half lucid dreams. I can control what the characters say and do, but I'm stuck in the setting that I'm given and I can rarely give my characters special abilities. also a lot of them are more like I'm writing a story than something I'm experienceing.

I'll share some of my more recent ones.

the first one was about a girl who is in a mental hospital. she has long straight dark brown hair, and is paralyzed. she knows that she's in a hospital, but she doesn't understand why because in her mind she can walk and talk freely. she's also really confused because when she talks to people, nobody answers (because she isn't really talking). the dream goes through things like birthdays and holidays. after about two years in the hospital, her boyfriend finally breaks up with her. about half a year later she overhears her family talking about "unplugging" her. that's when she realizes what's been going on for the past two and a half years. then she dies :P also I woke up

another dream I had was about a girl who's family kickes her out of the house because she's gay. she's alone and homeless in New York and she's trying to find a place with some privacy. she finds a building with billboards along the top, so she climbs up and meets a group of five people who are also homeless. the dream goes into the strange things and odd jobs that they do to get food, water and clothing.

The OP was ridiculous! That seems like such a cool adventure.

I have been trying, somewhat hard, to get lucid dreams so I don't have to waste time only sleeping. That would make things so much better. I feel that if I were able to lucid dream at least once, I'd know how to do it whenever.

I've only ever had around two semi-lucid dreams. Both I just realised I was asleep and instantly woke up.

All the Lucid dreams I've had was me meeting someone famous.

But there is one that i recall quite well...

It was normal dream how I'd started it off, I was Spiderman, Right? seems normal. But for some reason I hadn't been told, I was needed in Tokyo for my Spiderman Help. So I went to Tokyo, Only to find that an Evil Family of African American Samurais had me slaying large families. Then I Remember swinging around Tokyo. Then i remember being in some big fancy lab get info on this Family. Then I had a battle to the death with there family, but i only remember fighting the Dad, this big black guy with an Afro and a Comb. something I remember that his sword got split into five slices, and he fought me with them. and all i remember after that is that i swung off into the night.

(P.S. I'm not trying to be Racist, those are just details that stuck out in my mind quite a bit.)

Would totally kill to be able to lucid dream. Every time I lucid dreamed, I've only realized it after the fact once I've woken up, long after I've woken. In addition they happen at the worst time: right after my alarm goes off and I flop over to go back to sleep, so if I do happen to LD, it doesn't happen for long.

I remember some,

When I was 5 year old, on my Xmas eve night, i was conscious of me dreaming, and just wanted to wake up and dive in my presents and when I wake up, I realize I am in another dream, and so, and so, and so..... I was unable to get up, mi parents woke me up instead the other way.

Another, this was the day I got my first hunt license (I was 16) I dream about a boar chasing me, then before he catches me, I woke up, this happened 3 times in a row, then I being awake sworn to myself to gun down the creep the next time, then sleep, on my dream, the boar is chasing me again, then I stop, make half a turn to face him, and point at it with a VERY big rifle, an antitank Mauser, shot, the boar kind of explode, I wake for a moment to say "aw right" and go back to sleep...

The last one, this creeps me, it repeats quite frequently, I am on a flat building, at the stair well, but said well is colossal, with scores of doors, small sections of steps, go to some doors that by some reason are up to a mid level, some are up some are under, with colossal magnitude flights of stairs suspended not touching ground more than on the first step and (dunno) the end, that it's invisible. And, all that complex looks a lot like an underground car parking, same tube lights, plus some Escher touch...

Sounds a lot like Inception. The whole, not being able to wake up part.

You know, inspired by this and other stories about dreams, I decided to try and write down what I remembered about my dreams. Well, last night I had two dreams. I won't go fully into details about them now, but after each one I got up and wrote down what I remembered (on a post-it, since I couldn't find a pad).

When I woke up this morning I realised that I had only written down one of the dreams. I had dreamt writing the other one.

I had a dream that I was writing about a dream. How meta is that?

Oooooooooooooooooooh lawdy here we go.

1: I wake up on a beach surrounded by about 25 of my friends from school at the time, with a massive forest of dead trees behind us, and a sickly green color to the water. We realize we somehow survived some kind of nuclear apocalypse. We also realize the beach is covered in some strange, white, cotton-candy like substance. So, naturally, we construct a city out of it and worship it like a God. The rest is a tad fuzzy, but I do remember somehow betraying the church and being crucified, only for the whole city to melt in the rain and the people curse the Gods for what they've done, then another bomb goes off, and I wake up in a cold sweat.

2: Ever had the same dream multiple times in one night? Try having 9 dreams all centered around you getting tortured mercilessly with horrifying, indescribable images and sounds surrounding you the whole time as you wake up from it every hour, on the hour, from 11 PM until 8 AM. I didn't want to sleep for a week.

3: Funny time now. I'm walking down the night-time streets of Seattle when I look up and see a massive building I'd never seen before. Apparently, it was a world-class Hotel/Restaurant/Mall/Casino built into a 50 story building, each floor being a different thing. I enter the building and start walking around, exploring. Soon, I'm tapped on the shoulder by two girls running by, who yell "You're it!" I chase them down throughout the whole building for around an hour and manage to tag them both. They then tell me, "Wow, that was pretty fun, but you should wear a sweater next time." I look down at myself to see I am, in fact, wearing a sweater, then wake up and say "Ta-dah?" out loud.

4: I remember nothing of the dream except the ending where I said "Oh, hold on, I have to spit," then proceeded to roll over, wake up, and spit a massive wad of saliva all over my pillow. I don't even know.

While not a lucid dream, I had an entirely trippy dream a few days ago where I woke up, had an entirely full day back in my hometown, an amazing day I might add, went to bed, woke up back here in Ottawa, fully unable to decipher what day it was because, as part of my dream, that day had ALREADY PASSED.

Really threw me for a loop. I had to check a calendar three times and preform a self-test to make sure I wasn't dreaming and to properly figure out what day it was.

had one this morning.

it starts at home. dad keeps bringing home birds and when I ask him why, he says that we're babysitting them. then I get a call letting me know there is an emergency and I need to go over there right away. I take my army through the lego forest full of plants that will eat you, but not really (they fold up over you, then open back up). we get there and we find out that my mission is to save princess Sabrina (Sabrina is a girl I go to school with irl) because she has a bomb stuck to the back of her head. me and my army had to go up several floors to find her, but on the way there I had to kill off most of my soldiers with a bazooka so that they wouldn't join the bad guy's side. when we got there, I managed to get the bomb off her head and the group of us ran away from the bomb and survived. afterwards, one of my soldiers came up to me. he was wearing a very poorly-made discord cosplay and his legs were two strings of yellow and orange beads. this is where I started lucid dreaming, and for the rest of the dream we just chatted at my house with the birds my dad was babysitting.

That is crazy.

I've actually written, more like typed, stuff while I was asleep. Not throughout the whole night, but really soon after I fell asleep.

The strange thing about me is that I've only had one lucid dream, but many dreams where I knew I was dreaming. Those were all nightmares, and I (strangely) didn't notice until the end. Not trying to sound dramatic, but they all include the things I find absolutely terrifying, then taken to an extreme. These would be -'

- Being outside at night. I get paranoid out there, my mind (which hates me) often makes really disturbing things from this,

- Death. Good god, I hate death. Threats, experience, near experience, or merely witness or loved one experiencing. I get these often.

- Ghosts, monsters. Unfortunately, the monster is never a dragon (the only monster I like). Monsters were when I was little (my first nightmare, and one of my worst ones was about a monster), now ghosts (20% scarier.... oops, forgot a 0, sorry).

- Being alone, or alone with a guy (or guys on a rare occasion) my age. This is usually the case in my strangest (and the scariest) dreams of mine.

I don't remember the lucid dream, but I remember the dream that I COULDN'T WAKE UP UNTIL IT LET ME. I hate it when that happens. Is that normal, or am I just weak?

I had this dream a few months ago. Oddly, I found it believable, despite the fact that it had me as a boy scout. I left boy scouts a few years ago.

We were in this odd house, investigating ghosts. I was talking to the youngest member of the family, who was 4 or 5 years old. It was a bit creepy, and now that I think about it, the boy kinda resembles how I look today. Long blond hair, it was like I was talking to myself. Maybe this dream was hinting at me being insane?

Well, we soon left the house to begin a walk to town during the night. I'm a fast walker, but the way the kids in my troop walked... it was like a running speed. I was left back with a friend of mine (who I met irl a year before), Bobby. As we're walking, I turned my head to one of these average suburban houses. What was on the front lawn horrified me, and made this one of my scariest dreams. Ever.

It was a deformed, neon white man. He was chained to an abnormally large dog, which was also a neon white. The dog looked almost like a mutilated St. Brenard, and the man didn't look much like anything. He was just plsin mutilated and stretched out of shape. This THING let out a horrible moaning noise. I was frozen with terror. I couldn't wake up for a little bit, but I eventually did. Needless to say, I ran to my mom's room crying.

  • 3 weeks later...

I had a dream that I was at the BCS National Championship, watching the long-anticipated Alabama-Louisiana State football rematch. I was sitting in the student section discussing the weak points of LSU's coaching staff with former U.S. president Bill Clinton when it occurred to me that this couldn't possibly be reality -- we were playing at home.

In a moment of lucidity, I decided not to let the simple fact of immateriality get me down; I asked Bill to fetch me a Coke, 'found' a ticket to the skyboxes in my pocket, and walked up to the sweet seats to enjoy the game.

OH god, last night was awful. Had a dream that I was back in 5th grade and that the actors who played Bulk and Skull, and Zack from power rangers were teaching and asking us to do a writing assigntment. I kept mesing in grammer and felt humilated when someone read my paper, as the bell rang. Still feeling heated, I went outside the school and came across a boy about my age, red hair and angry eyes snarling and trying to punch me for no reason. I kept protesting and telling him to back off, but he wouldnt listen and kept coming at me like a bully. He followed me all throughout the school, proclaiming how i was supposed to allow myself to be hit and harrased, boterhing me as i attempthed to go to my other classes; even going to so far as to take a brick and try to throw it at my head. Finally, I couldnt take it since fighitng back didnt help, neither did trying to reason with this kid. So, i went to the principals office; him following me in an attmepth to tell the principal that I was supposed to let him hit me and make me feel like crap. When i reached him, I said "You know sir, Ive putting up with it all my life, and I never really did anything. But you know what, thats about to change. Im not gonna sit and take it anymore". The boy freaked out and tried to slug me in the mouth when I grabbed his arm and pulled him close so we were face to face. "Thats right you prick, I. Hate. BULLIES. If you wanna keep this up, and keep trying to attack me like a wild animal then by all means go ahead cause Ill keep fighting right back. I am willing to let bygones be bygones". Then i woke up.
