  1. GREETINGS AND WELCOME. I AM THE KING OF SPACE. YOU ARE WELCOME HERE, TO SERVE MY PURPOSES. YOU ARE POWERLESS TO RESIST. I AM THE KING OF SPACE.
  2. Well if you ever find yourself in the old IRC, drop me a line. If not, shoot me off a PM and I'll get to it
  3. Sssh. I'm stickler for little details . This project has been plagued with stuff like that xD First edition had her missing wings, then a band of colour in her mane, and now her magic.
  4. Oh dear, I totally forgot her magic. Going to fix that and update the picture.
  5. When's the last time you were happy with two huge stacks of paper involving taxes ? Because xD I dunno. I just thought it was a funny picture to do.
  6. Snowshoe

    Sturmmann's doodles.

If I ever feel like putting up more stuff, it'll go here.
  7. From the album: Sturmmann's doodles.

Every Wednesday evening I would do what I call practice commissions. To get better I would get drawing ideas from other folks. Blind Jester wanted me to draw his/her (I can never remember xD) ponysona. So here it be. Those stripes were tough to draw but it was fun.
  8. Glad y'all like the glasses. An excuse to put those on Celestia was literally the only reason I drew this xD
  9. If they're actual Chuck Taylors/Converse shoes, the inside ankle has a large, round logo. He'd have to cover it up or remove it to do their cutie marks. Edit: PS: Not doubting Lovin's shoes, just sayin' that's what's on the other side of the shoe ^^
  10. From the album: Sturmmann's doodles.

I got bored one night in IRC. Before I went to bed I wanted to draw. I made the mistake of asking what to draw. Allura said "Celestia doing her taxes." So I did. Blurry as heck because it's not done...tomorrow I have to stick it in GIMP, along with some other pieces, and do some inking. Newly inked and ready to go! I just wanted to show it off because I was impressed with my own drawing, which rarely, if ever, happens. (Illegible text on the paper says "Royal Tax Form 1-A" and on the book "Equestria Tax Code." By the by Celestia's mane is a PAIN to draw.
  11. How about Manehattan, or the beautiful Gallopocus Islands, neither of which get love? In any case, Timbre Swing, standing by.
  12. No worries, friend. We've had longer delays *cough*Dunder*cough* >.> As for adventures, the stealing thing sounds good. Maybe Blueblood's cabin gets turned over and ransacked but nothing taken (due to the journal, or whatever else, being well hidden), or possibly something gets filched stealthily from the cabin, and its up to them to go find it. Sounds like a good way to keep the trim from being boring tanning sessions on the top deck all the time, while Dunder checks out the mares through mirrored sunglasses reads "War and Peace."
  13. Okay, I've been monitoring this thread enough. Time to toss myself into the ring. Need a ship? Bowsprit's your pony. He's centred out of the Gallopocus Islands, and knows her bays and coves like the back of his hooves, If you need a ship at any point, you can charter his and I'll be happy to provide transport for the teams anywhere along Equestria's coast, even out to Unyasi. Muggo' Ale, out of Fillydelphia, could make for a good support character. He runs a bar with a many characters that come through his doors. Could help provide rumours and information, as well as supplies for the journey. In much the same capacity as Bowsprit, Wind Rider is based in Hoofington, and as the forest ranger for the general area around it, can be used to help guide the team through the forests and along the coast. Whichever character you think would be more of a help can be added to the list. All if you want, none if you don't think they'll be of any help. I'd toss Rain Maker in, but the teams seem pretty full.
  14. I'd habeeb it, mainly because I don't speak a lick of Russian beyond the simplest of things (yes, no, thank you, good day, and how to curse).
  15. I find this quite amusing. Look very closely and you'll see it.
  16. Kas tried to hold in his laughter seeing the one pony quite literally barking up the wrong tree. It was hilarious, in his mind, provided none of these effects were permanent. Then it would get very suddenly unfunny. Hic! "Oh, dese be cool," he commented. His stripes had changed to a deep red similar to that of his spikey mane. "I t'ink I might like dis," he added with a chuckle. He looked up just in time to see Flim grow a pair of wings, and he snorted in laughter, ending it with another hiccup. "Aw..." he commented, seeing that his stripes were now a neon green. He had liked the red! It had been kinda awesome looking. And then Flam turned into a unicorn...dragon...thing. Kas 'snrked' again. Just then, a strangely-accented professor-looking pony informed them all it was poison joke extract. Poison joke, huh? He looked at the bottle and chuckled, remembering when he and some others had played a prank on one of his friends using a minute amount of the same stuff. His friend had started to speak gibberish for a few hours, much to everyone's amusement. Apparently it was rather dangerous, given the conversation between the Professor and another strangely accented pony. And then Flam coughed fire, much to his surprise, causing Kas to laugh again, and hiccup once more. Bright white stripes. His laughing was interrupted by a shout from the pony next to him, and he winced away. "Oww..." he mumbled. "Ya keep da volume a bit down if ya can? Tryin' ta keep me hearin' best dat I can, seen?" Hic! Bright orange. He grinned and walked over toward Harrington, shrugging. "I find it a bit funny, jessayin'. As for ya, dey be over dere. An' not immune ta deir own medicine nei'der, de one wit' da magnificent moustache just turned hisself inta a dragon," he explained. "But yeah. Dey can keep mine bits, jus' fer makin' me laugh. Hic!" Now the stripes all took on different colours, giving him bands of yellow, green, and red along his body.
  17. Calamity from Fallout Equestria (18+ warning, no link). Some downright funny lines, cool character design, and despite starting out as the kinda comic relief of the story ends up toward the last third of the fic or so with some of the most gut-punching lines ever. And that's about it, because I don't really read many fanfics
  18. Muggo' Ale looked around the opulent penthouse at the front of the ship. For a brief, fleeting moment, he thought they were all going to be in there...large by ship standards, he figured there'd be multiple rooms. Of course, that passed, and Muggo' didn't feel bad. He figured even the most basic of cabins aboard was more than he could hope for. Trying to hold in a grin when Blueblood declared the room 'adequate' (in his mind, Muggo' would have called it gorgeous), he turned and followed the steward to their room. Not bad. They even came with little chocolates. How cute. Muggo' grinned and nodded. "Aye, not a bad bit nice in here, not one bit. As for me, I plan to go take a look 'round, see what I can see aboard," he said. With the mention of them being across the hall, he nodded again. "I'm sure if ya two get bored I can think o' another story or two." The earth pony stepped inside, finding his gear on his bunk. He untied the knot on the sword with his teeth and drew it with a curled fetlock. "Probably gunna have to take a stone to this...don't think she's been sharpened since before ya were born," he motioned to Dunder while he spoke, chuckling. He put the blade away, then looked at Fire Walker. "And what about ya? Got any plans o' yer own while we're onboard?" he asked.
  19. All the joking kinda faded away when he realized that she was actually slipping, and probably about to fall from the flagpole if he didn't lend a hand. He chuckled a little and his horn glowed with bright blue light, an identical light wrapping around Sapphire Shores and gently depositing her next to him among the crowd, who immediately cheered when her hooves hit the dirt. "Per'aps climbing to zee top of zee, uh...flagpole, was not zee smartest of ideas," he offered with a teasing grin, as a few ponies that recognized her tried to get her attention for some autographs and the like. Timbre Swing, for his part, felt rather good. He'd made ponies happy, entertained them for their evening, and had met somepony he would easily consider an idol to him. All in all, not a bad night...and to think, he might have decided to stay home that evening. "Zat was very...impressive," he said after a short beat to hunt for the right word. "Somes'ing used in your shows?" he asked.
  20. Oh, oh, oh, forgot about my all time favourite comic. Huge image warning.
  21. Personally, I like the pink eyes. I find the gold ones to be too stark a change to the rest of the colour scheme, and a tiny bit on the distracting side.
  22. While the others took care of keeping the griffons off, Muggo' Ale drew himself up to full height, set his hat a little straighter on his head, and made his way into the cave. The miners didn't seem to notice him as he quietly made his way to the minecart. The faster he got hooked up and ready to run, the faster they could get going and the less time his companions would spend fighting. He nearly made it, before one of the diamond dogs spotted him and charged. Muggo' Ale turned and grinned, facing the charging dog down as it slowed, confused by the pony who stood by idly. It ended up stopped, growling face close to Muggo's. "Boop." The diamond dog was so incredibly confused by the fact the green earth pony had simply elected to press his hoof against the dog's nose...shortly before ramming the other into his stomach to knock the wind out of him. "Move yer starns!" he called out to his companions, hooking himself into the harness at the front of the minecart. He got ready to run, soon as his friends got there.
  23. Timbre Swing came to a few minutes later, groaning gently. His head thumped with the beat of a thousand bass drums, which would have been fine if they actually all beat to a tune, and not just trying to keep him sprawled in the dirt and snow. He managed to get up, finding his hat off to the side, upside down. He reached for it with his magic, only to find himself burnt out for the time being. Grunting, the Fancy pony just reached out and stuck the snow-filled hat on his head and got up all the way. He looked around at the ponies gathered here and there, and it seemed like every last pony had made it out pretty much intact. "Je suis bien, merci pour m'aidez," he mumbled in his native tongue to nopony in particular, the sarcasm evident in his voice as he thanked them for helping him. Having been temporarily knocked out, he hadn't known that Percival had given him a hoof. A pony shouted for help with shelter. Given that Timbre knew absolutely nothing about medicine, and his magic was spent, he trotted over. "I, uh, cannot do much, but I can 'elp," he explained to Rolling Thunder.
  24. Wind Rider grinned at what the unicorn was saying, hiding it behind a long sip of water. It was rather amusing to watch the two blue pegasi fanfillying over the Wonderbolt, who seemed to be taking it rather in stride...or, if anything, both the 'Bolt and the rainbow-maned one seemed to be complementing each other in turn, from what he could tell. Well, that, and neither were exactly talking quietly, and the bar was mostly empty. In a way though, it was interesting...he'd always had a certain perception of famous ponies, that they were always all about business and the like. But no, now he was getting to see a more pony side of one of the more well known Wonderbolts, rubbing shoulders rather casually with the general public and not really focusing on his job. It was, in a word, interesting (to watch, which would technically be three words). Wind Rider looked back at the bartender, who was complementing him on what his job had been, all while levitating the water over to top off his glass. "Thank you, Miss...?" he began, smiling. "Guess I'm a lot more modest than I should be. I've not got many stories, but enough to pass a bit of time while we wait out this rain," he said with a chuckle. "And thank Celestia most ponies had the right idea and kept indoors, I didn't see anypony while I was out there. Though staying inside might not be the best either...not in Hoofington at least. Water's rising quite a bit, last time I was there." He shrugged, as there was nothing he could do about it here. Another sip of water, he looked at the unicorn. "Heck, I don't think I got either of your names. I'm Wind Rider," he said with a smile. Might as well get to know the unicorn paying for his drinks, and the bartender providing them.
  25. To be honest, it's kinda blink-and-you'll-miss-it. I caught it, and thought it was adorable. Most kids probably didn't catch it, too excited by the awesome action sequence. It can also be interpreted as a friendly, relieved kiss, and not a shiptease. I have also heard people explain it off as just a mistimed effect, but given that Flutterdash is one of this fandom's most popular ships, I have a feeling it was just an intentional shout-out.
