Miss Cheerilee! I have a question! Why do you have someone else's tail in this scene?

I was planning on taking Diamond Tiara into the gala, but was waiting for Silver Spoon to get approved first. The "best dressed pony" competition sounds like something they'd love to enter.

Maybe there could be a children's section at the gala where the foals can all gather and the CMCs can do the "Gala Jr." there?

Yeah, in the end I decided to have the wings out anyway. It just looks better I think. Anyway, here's what I have so far. I haven't done her crown, shoes etc. and I'm not too pleased with the head, particularily the mouth and hair, but as a rough start for someone new to this, I don't think it's too bad. I think maybe the neck is too long and the wings could stand to be lower, but I'm not sure.

Have you been to the favourite picture thread yet? It's almost entirely pony pics. That and looking at the Drawfriend and Newbie Artist posts on Equestria Daily will get you plenty of awesome fanarts.

For pics from the show itself, you could try Ponibooru, provided you don't mind sifting through all the pointless memes and junk that have surfaced lately. Try starting from the last page and working back ¬_¬

Never noticed it the first time around, but in Cutie Mark Chronicles, during Rarity's flashback, one of the foals onstage is Cheerilee. Admittedly this is minor, but it does suggest that she and Rarity are the same age and probably grew up together.

It's weird that you post this now. I was only thinking about this a couple of days ago. Specifically I was thinking that someone playing as Angel or Philomena would probably have a lot of fun. This was mostly just an idle thought more than any kind of serious attempt to app an animal, and I already knew that the characters are responsible for their own pets.

But now that you mention it... WillowWisp, if you're reading this, and if you ever want someone to take care of Fluttershy's bunny pal for you... I mean, if you don't mind... I understand if you don't... But if you did.... Maybe I could do it? Just a thought...

Also, I've noticed that the marching ponies shots in "Best Night Ever" don't seem to give light that Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash are pegasi. They look just like earth ponies when they are given that perspective.

I noticed something similar in Suited for Success. During the scene where Rarity sings "Pinkie Pie the colour's too obtrusive, wait until you see it in the light" she opens the blinds using her hoof, which is wrapped around it. And this is from a pony with telekinesis too.

Also I didn't notice this one, but I found it on the TVtropes FiM page: In episode 3 AJ says that if she wins a bet, Big Macintosh will walk down Saddle Street wearing one of Granny's girdles. In episode 4, Big Mac has a mysterious injury to his midsection which is never explained. Think about it.

In addition to what everyone else has said, I'd like to see more of Cherilee and the Owl whose name I cannot spell for the life of me. XD

The owl? Huh, didn't think anyone liked him XD I'll agree with you on Cheerilee though.

Personally I want to see more of the background ponies. Various fanarts have made me totally smitten with Lyra recently

Diamond Tiara walked up to the school building humming a tune and pulling a cord attached to a small suitcase on wheels. She smiled to herself. It was the perfect choice for show and tell. Something that was all about her. She wasn't quite so confident about her report, however. The play had bored her to tears and she had spent most of it making snide comments about the acting and the fake-looking props. Her report had inevitably ended up sketchy and rambling as she had tried to piece together what little she had remembered.

She had only just gotten through the door when Cheerilee announced that the lesson was taking place outside.

Outside? On the lawn!? She thought as she looked back at the suitcase. Oh, I hope it won't get dirty, it's so hard to clean. Maybe I can get a sheet or something...

She walked towards the teacher. "Morning, Miss Cheerilee. Uh, if we're doing this outside I'm gonna need, like, a sheet or tarp or something 'cos I don't want my show and tell stuff to get dirty."

As she spoke she glanced over the rest of the class. She hadn't yet had a chance to really get to know the new students, but was already cataloguing them in her mind.

Lets see now... dork, nerd, she might be cool (nice ball control!), baby dork (is he even old enough to be here?), ugh she kinda looks like Snails! What a freak. Speaking of which, here's Snips, king of the freaks. Woah, what happened to him? she thought as her eyes finally rested on the pony with all the bandages. Was he playing sports? Or in a fight? I'll have to ask.

She suddenly remembered who she was talking to and, turning back to Cheerilee, gave her best smile. "Uh, please?"

That was beautiful and heart-warming. I loved it!

Here's a thought: why not ask Applejack's player for a Private RP between you before joining the board proper, and play out Bow-Tie and Applejack's first meeting all those years ago? Doing an RP set in the past should be okay if it's on the Private RP section, right? Then, once the RP is finished, you go on the main boards and Bow-Tie returns to meet her old friend. Private RP still counts as board "canon" doesn't it? Would this be possible?

Hey all.

So I'm learning to draw ponies for a little project I'm working on. It's tricky, seeing as how I suffer from a debilitating condition known as "being unable to draw my way out of a paper bag". Luckily I have plenty of tutorials and references to help me along, and I'm using Flash to draw; being able to tweak the vectors make things easier.

But I'm kinda stuck on one thing. I need a reference pic of a pony sitting down, facing the viewer. Preferably a pegasus, so I can see how the wings look, but I'm mostly using it to see how the legs go. It's remarkably hard to find something like this. Would any of you have a pic like this anywhere, either as a screengrab or a fanart that's as close to the original style as possible? If it's a pic of Luna, that's a bonus

Seeing unicorns besides Twilight doing some cool magic stuff.

Huh. Thinking about it (and after watching Boast Busters again), Rarity and Trixie both have spells that twilight has yet to copy. Rarity has her fashion show special effects from "Suited for Success" and the topiary spell from "Look Before You Sleep". And Trixie had all her flashy illusions plus her weather control powers, which I don't think Twilight has done.

So yeah... more like that in Season 2 please
