Oh, then try private FFA's. I find private RP's a lot more enjoyable then open ones. The RP's can set a plot, and you don't have to worry about getting derailed. Want a great explanation of being derailed. Try this:

With the Friends module, I got a Notification every time they made a status update.
Actually, there's still a check box under the My Settings > Notification Options, which reads, "Notify me when one of my friends updates their status". -
would that work for the friends you used to have, cuz ill just do that instead

Nope.
Friends do not exist anymore, therefore that option is now irrelevant.
