Yeah, honestly, crutches for a sprain, even a bad one, is silly. A stirrup support is just as effective and allows for greater mobility so long as you don't overexert... I don't think I've ever used crutches and I've injured myself in every which way, just short of breaking my ankle or a main bone in my foot (I have broken toes before)

Even though it's still hard to walk, I've found myself moving easier without them than with them. I think a brace is the better option.

You need something like this if it is that bad http://www.betterbraces.com/procare-surround-gel-ankle-support. Not joking, I've injured joints enough to know what does and does not work wonders. That provides the support you need to walk around fairly normally.

I know exactly how you feel, i did that myself last week, couldnt walk for awhile. Hope it gets better for you soon

Best metal show I've ever been to was Rammstein. They set an unfair bar for all others to follow. The most fun show was Caravan Palace for me I'm glad you enjoyed yourself
