Third customer in Inkbrand's shop, and probably the most fun he's had so far. The color makes it a bit difficult to see in this size, but Frostlace requested delicate, spiraling grapevine patterns going from her cutie mark to her hoof. There are also a few vines that wrap around under her tail and around her inner thigh, but most of the tattoo is facing outward on her hind leg. Woo, tattoos! Frostlace © Elderflower- 3 comments

I realized the other day that I didn't have any non-pony OCs. I also realized around the same time that all of my characters are pretty much jerks - I don't have any genuinely nice characters. Those two realizations combined into my new OC, an eastern dragon named Yuri. It was tough trying to MLP an eastern dragon, but I think I made it simplistic enough. Coloring came out a little wonky, but I'm pretty happy with the overall design.- 2 comments

WHAT. Her Cutie mark. I can't even. Im pretty critical of Pony OCs with rainbows, but the soft pastel colors are really beautiful, especially against the plainness of her coat. Love her design! -

Felt like trying to draw something pretty and soft today, so I used Sugar Star as my model. Looks like she's in the middle of one of her shoujo fantasies? Kind of happy and not happy with how it turned out, though I think I like the overall look of it. I think the skin shading came out the best, though it suffered a bit on the wings. A scene from WhiteTail Wood, featuring Inkbrand leading a couple of the youngings to their camp houses. Wish the RP hadn't died out, I was really looking forward to Inkbrand bossing around a bunch of foals. Still taking on the challenge for me that is backgrounds, so this picture came out kind of wispy looking. Might try something similar another time. Inkbrand's first customer at his Tattoo Parlor in Manehatten. This one is a permanent tattoo, something Inkbrand really appreciates, so extra OOC time was spent to make sure it was perfect. Seriously digging your venture into CG art here, especially as your use of colors and lighting hasn't diminished at all with the transition. You continue drawing more pretty ponies yes? Yes pls. -

What, no love for August? Maybe because he sticks out in the snow, but he seriously stole the spotlight for me in this picture. That cheeky yet fierce grin on his face, his wings flared outward, his eye bleeding all over the - HIS EYE. WHAT HAPPENED. Inkbrand needs to find August ASAP with some salt, beer, and manly back pounds. -

A redraw of my previous human!Inkbrand picture, with Inkbrand looking a bit older and more mature. (And a lot less pale, good gracious what was I thinking in his previous picture I don't even) Didn't feel like spending way too much time on it, so the coloring is really awful. The sketch and lineart came out pretty good, though. Also included a neck tattoo that was part of Inkbrand's original design, but scrapped in favor of his necklaces. Thought there would be too much going on in the neck area. Looks pretty good on a human neck, though. -
I like your OC designs a lot - they're pretty consistent with the designs and color schemes of ponies from the actual show, which is sometimes a hard feat to manage. -

Felt like practicing mane styles today. The result is a really quick and messy sketch and color of a bunch of random stallions - specifically, how I imagine some of Inkbrand's OC friends to be, though I haven't really given much thought to their designs past this sketching phase. -

Well bully for you, backgrounds take a lot of work for me. And if by "this", you mean Radiant Star? No, he and RS didn't get far enough to turn Inkbrand away from any other mare. There simply hasn't been a mare yet that has made Inkbrand want to settle down. In marriage, anyways. Inkbrand dates just fine, but thoughts of marriage and a happy little family are way out of his range of vision. -
This is gorgeous, though I have to say I probably love the background the most. The softness and abstractness of the flower petals, strewn all over the place, really gives the picture a very beautiful feel, in my opinion. Plus, the expression on both of their faces - Flax Seeds proud grin, especially - rounds everything up amazingly. Also, tattoos. TATTOOOOOOOS. -

Full size is best size! Felt like doodling tonight, which turned into this - Date Night for Inkbrand and Radiant Star! RS always dreamt of walking on stardust, and Inkbrand was raring to make that happen before her RPer and I dropped out of contact with one another. Let it not be said Inkbrand doesn't go all out when he sets his mind to something! Funnily enough, I probably spent more time on the background and special effects than I did on the actual ponies.
