Four Years Ago, I came to this place and met many ponies that put a smile on my face. The years went by and my list of Original Characters grew until 17 was the number I held true. And throughout that time I played some cast ponies too, like Carrot Top, Zecora, and Scootaloo. Then one day to my delight I got to play Princess Twilight! So here's to these four years of fun, but rest assured we've only just begun!

This picture was based off a role play event my character Fire Heart is participating in! Also, this is the first time i've attempted drawing a pony in a dress before and I'm pleased with the results! Fire Heart is my character! -
I use Fire Alpaca. It was easy for me to learn and doesn't have any big bugs in it.

Thanks. I was thinking about how to give the portal depth, so at first I simply drew the lines. Then I just chose a base purple color and made it darker each time. -

Researching Adobe Flash but wondering something: if you had a "puppet" character rendered in Flash, can you apply it to other video editing software like Lightworks?

That... I'm not sure. I only use Flash to animate stuff with. Though, you can convert your SWF file into a MP4 file if you have the right converter, considering you're trying to use it with a video editor.

Hmm...then I'm out of ideas. Especially since you've done the whole "practice makes perfect" scenario already with your experience.

Draw "through" when sketching out your art. Even if the subject is wearing clothes, draw their bodies underneath lightly to give you an idea of body structure and anatomy.

In my personal opinion having a tablet is a must for drawing smoother lines. Takes some used to, but its helpful. Mine is a Wacom.

Good to know. Actually I widened the waist and hips more than my previous works. For some reason though when I draw a waist I think it's too wide only when I finish to find it's narrow. -
