  1. My professor had mentioned something about best pony once. Eversince then I'd been secretly hoping he was a brony.

I'd prefer a more subtle approach. Slip in innuendo when you can. If he asks if another student is present when s/he's not, say "Nnnnnnope", and see if he catches on.

He already knows I'm a brony, and I know his son is, but it sounds like he's just familiar with the fandom and not an actual part of it.

  2. I'm working on a project I plan to keep quiet about until I'm almost done with it. I've been asking my friends what they thought of things I've done in the project so far, unfortunately I don't feel they're giving me very good feedback. I'm pretty much just looking for a single person I can get an honest opinion from as I work on the project and that can keep quiet about it until necessary. I apologize for being so secretive, but I don't want to draw much attention to this project until I plan to release it. I live in the USA in central time, and I'm usually available at night, but I check my emails as soon as I receive them.I need to be able to contact you, so if you check your emails frequently or regularly get on skype then I'd like to get in contact with you. PM me if you're interested in helping.
  3. How can a children's story book put me at the verge of tears?

      tacobob

Yeah. I cried too. Didn't know Grover was the real monster at the end of the book.

  4. LOL Nice April fools thingy!

  5. Sounds pretty good to me, I would honestly put a lot more effects on it. but not too bad.

Oh cool!! :D Would you draw for me Scamp? ^^

  9. Everything's on hold for the moment, I've got a lot going on
  10. Try freesound, you can get some pretty decent samples.
  11. It's alright, I don't like the high resonance on that pad though and the drums sound a little "stock" if you know what I mean. I like your bass, but I can't remember anything else that I wanted to comment on (short term memory and im on a phone)
  12. Lol thanks, It was just cute to me when I drew it, but I did get that by a couple other people too. (I think yall have just had too much cupcakes XD)

    From the album: Vectors

I drew her out of boredom and then vectored her.
  15. I really wanted to try the game
  16. Massive's not free though, it'd be better starting with a normal synth. Massive costs $200, so you have to really want it to buy it, plus I don't think you can use massive in Mixcraft.
  17. Well, I can sing but im a dude. Not sure if you need one of those.
  18. LFO's are what most people use to make "wubs" automation if it's possible Is good for controlling your wubs. I'm not a mixcraft user but I think LFO's are your best bet.
  19. Don't worry I make them rather fast, If you have a scenario or a screenshot for each area I can make them with no sweat. Chiptune is a general name for any type of music with a retro gaming sound, within that name there are a bunch of sub-genre's: 8-bit music, Amigacore, Bitpop, Chipbreak or Chipcore, Chip Metal or Bleep Metal, Chipstyle (both songs in my link), Gameboy music, and Nerdcore (that one sounds funny) Those are just a few of the names Woolyss.com list off. the main differences are the whether the song is made through a vst simulating an old sound card, if it actually made with a game console (they totally gut it and do a bunch of fancy routing) Chipstyle sounds like chiptune but has modern aspects (drum samples, effects, and so on)
  20. I do some Chiptunes if you're interested, I did "chip style" for a long time but I finally started making 8 bit (or 16 bit, apparently there's a difference) stuff. Some examples of my Chiptunes are on sound cloud www.soundcloud.com/dannymirage2
  21. Hey guys, it's about time for an update on this. -At the moment I have enough Writers compared to the rest of the group. I will look for writers at a later date. -I'm still taking VAs. I have enough VAs for now, but you won't be put in a permanent position unless you can do impressions of cannon characters. -Concept artists. I need people who can draw backgrounds, monsters, and anything else that comes up. This is a permanent position. -Vector artists. I need people who actually have some experience with vectoring (not professional, just know how to draw a pony) I would also rather use people with Adobe products for compatibility reasons. (nothing against Inkscape and Gimp users, I just don't think they're compatible) This is a permanent position. -Storyboard artists. I need you, as long as you know how to do it you're in. (You don't have to be perfect with drawing ponies) This is a permanent position. -Animators. I need people with experience in animation, if you don't know how to use models or tween then you need to take lessons first. We're trying to make this look as close to the show as possible, meaning we're going to use the same methods that everyone else is using. If you do "effects" you will be a good asset to the team, I expect these to be Frame by frames but if you have a better method that's also accepted. I operate CS5.5 It'd be best if you had that however we can convert to Legend formats if necessary, but that tends to be annoying. This is a permanent position. -Musicians. I am no longer taking permanent positions for musicians, when you are needed I will post for help. -Sound engineers. (editing vocals, making sounds of your own, and other related works) This is a permanent position, If you specialize in something, please let me know. -Video editors. I'm looking for permanent video editors, just keep in mind that this is a position that will be waiting... a lot... -Management. If you aren't able to help in the previous fields, I could use some help taming this beast. (keeping records, making spreadsheets, managing group chats, nothing hard.) This will be a permanent position for obvious reasons Other stuff _______________________________________________________ My goals and requirements remain the same. If you want any position from this point, I need proof that you know what you're doing. (in other words, I want at least one sample of your work. If there's no sample I probably won't even finish reading it) when you send applications for the group please use the following format: This will avoid confusion and help me respond faster, jumbled up messages with links everywhere make me want to skip it.
  22. A girl vector artist? AWESOME! nice work too
  23. Of course! We could use as many artists as possible right now.
