Heya! Thanks so much for making all the changes I asked for! I know that was a bit of a wall of text, so thanks for sticking it out. Everything looks great to me so I shall be sending it up for senior staff to have a look at now. It's not a problem at all! And thanks so much for the encouragement! I'm not a mod, just a role play helper, but I've only been doing this for a week so I'm actually flattered that you think so. Just let me know if you need anything else, and I'll do my best to point you in the right direction.

As I have recently been reading (and loving) a lot of your Honeydew posts, this pleases me. I shall be stalking watching for more updates of this blog.

That happened to me. After the excruciating wait for Season 3, I sort of lost the passion I had for the show after the airing of the Canterlot Wedding episode. Even when there were new episodes coming out each week, I wasn't into them the same as I had been before. I watched the first few episodes of Season 3 when they were released, but then I went away for Christmas and got busy with being with family, and so I really never got back to watching them until March/April, actually, when PonyCon Au came to my town. I was already registered for the con 'cause I registered before I lost the spark, and then the experience was amazing at the con that I just had to come back. There are still a few episodes from Season 3 that I've only watched once, but besides that I've seen all of Season 1's episodes at least four or five times, and most of season 2 at least two or three times. It's not as good the second time through because you've seen it all before, I think. If it helps, try watching them with someone who hasn't seen it before. If they catch the magic, then experiencing it all again for the first time through them is almost as much fun!

Hello Zanderax, welcome to Canterlot! May I suggest making a thread in the Introductions section so that we can all give you a nice warm Canterlot welcome? Anyways, I'm Jane, and I'll be helping you out with your application! Creating a character for WoE can be a bit of a challenge as we have high expectations for quality and somewhat strict guidelines, but I shall be here to help you out along the way. Firstly, I know you have this tagged as final, but could you please change the title so that it reads "Farmarer Sow (Ready)"? This is much easier for us to see. Also, to get the topic tag to prefix the title in the board, you need to tick the "first tag as prefix box" so that the "earth pony" tag is blue (it should look like this.) Note that you will need to have three posts on the board before being able to use the full editor to make these changes, so once again I urge you to post in the Introductions board. The application you have right now is very good, and I actually think this character will fit quite nicely in the WoE board. There are a few tweaks, however. The first thing that sticks out for me is her age and occupation. If Farmarer is indeed a filly, she should be a student in school, not running the family business. This may be something she does after school or in her spare time, but if this is the case, then that information can be moved into the history or character summary part of the application, and the same goes with the information about her travels. Really, the occupation field should just read "student" and, if you want to add it, "she helps out on the family farm in her free time." For the cutie mark section, you don't need to include the info about the rest of her family's cutie marks - this application is about her, after all. The Cutie Mark, History and Character Summary sections are all very short. I understand that she's a filly so there isn't a whole lot to write about her history, but it could still do with a little bit more fleshing out than what you have here. Don't be afraid to go into details about certain evens, and expand on different concepts and areas of her life. You mentioned she's not good with numbers (I can totally relate) - is there a reason she doesn't like them? Is there another subject at school that she likes better than maths? How does she get along with her siblings - and how does she get along with other ponies in general? Are there certain types of ponies she prefers to spend time with more than others? She loves farming, but does she have any other interests? You don't have to answer all these questions specifically, I'm just trying to give you some ideas to help you get the ball rolling. Also, one last thing: Since there doesn't seem to be any indication of a mournful event in her life (and please please please don't add one, as that would be a big step backwards as far as getting this character approved for WoE is concerned), this not only seems out of place, but it also reads a little bit like chronic depression to me. While depression is a very real thing and I am in no way belittling it, it's not very WoE-friendly and so we try to keep it out of our canon-based board. It's alright to play a character who isn't sunshine and rainbows every day of the week, and having moderate mood-swings so that she's not always cheery could certainly be part of her personality, but I'm just not comfortable with the idea of dealing with grief and sadness for "long periods of time" that have an effect on a pony being "her normal self" on this board.Please post here once you've made the requested changes, and if you need any further help or ideas, don't hesitate to ask me.

I voted for Apple Family Reunion, but it was a solid season overall IMO, so that wasn't an easy choice. Magic Duel, Too Many Pinkies and Wonderbolt Academy were also pretty high up there. Not to mention the season opener and finale. Why is this show so good?

It's no trouble at all! All the changes look good to me.

I'm guessing the locations selected are the Crystal Empire, Ponyville, Stalliongrad, Germaney and Dodge Junction. There will be no rationing system. And the focus will be on a bit of both. I'm still waiting for one more thing to be finalized, but at this point I'll be happy to join with Cherry Berry in Ponyville and I suppose I could come up with a reason for Bright Calcite to meet you all in the Crystal Empire. I did a quick search of the character logs, and it looks like you might be hard-pressed to find host ponies in Germaney. A quick search of the forums returned a handful of ponies who came from there but live elsewhere, and that's it. I do have another character who might be able to rock up there (a REA pony who was garrisoned there for a bit - could go back for a visit and show you around while he's there). Same thing goes for Cherry Berry with Dodge Junction - it was a second home to her growing up so she'd be happy to go back for a visit as well and be a host of sorts, but the little thing I'm waiting to have finalized will probably be of greater interest for you if visiting Dodge Junction.

Alrighty, so stuff and such has happened and I guess I'll be taking this character after all. Yay! You've come a long with Bookworm, and I'm proud of you for that. I was just informed though that you still need to change the cutie mark story juuuuust a little more. The World of Equestria RP is one that tries to remain as close as possible to the canon, feel and themes of the show. I did check with some of the other staff, and they still feel like there is a little bit too much death in this application - think happy ponies! The concept of the cutie mark story is good - earned because she helped a friend overcome a sadness. Could you maybe try to change the sadness, though? Maybe he didn't do as well as he was hoping to on a test, or one of his best friends had to move to a different town? Both of those would garner the same sort of reaction from Bookworm while still being WoE-friendly. Two things here. Firstly, the bit about her father dying will need to go. One recommendation I was given was that maybe her father just isn't around much because of work - he's a guardspony, or a travelling salespony, or something else. A second option would be to simply remove the line about him getting killed altogether and simply state that Bookworm was raised by a single mother, keeping the details of her father's whereabouts as vague as possible. Secondly, could you maybe tone down the 'plummeting sales' thing about the bookstore? It sort of sounds like Bookworm NEEDS to be picking up extra work around Trottingham to support her mother, which again isn't very pony - Equestria is sort of Utopic, there isn't much poverty. I think this could be fixed by simply changing some of the wording. Could you try to make it sound like her mother's bookstore is struggling without actually making it sound like there's a crisis? Also, as RP is based heavily on social interaction, you may want to make her a liiiiittle more of an extrovert so that she won't be avoiding interaction in threads. As I said earlier, I really like the concept for the character and I would love to see her in WoE very soon! If you could just make the above changes, I'll send this app to the Senior RP Staff to look over and we'll see about getting her stamped and ready for RP!

Yeah, I've tried getting into the hang of using OneNote for this, so that I could access it from computer or iPad, but the iPad OneNote features are very much lacking and it was getting frustrating. I will be saving this list in Gdocs, though.I know character logs do more or less the same thing, but they're still arranged by character, and I want it to be arranged by priority.

I'm in the midst of exams at the moment, but as soon as they finish at the end of next week, my plans for the winter break include, practically above all else, getting caught up/more active in the RP here on canterlot.com. Hiya, I'm Jane, and I'll be the helper looking after this application. There really isn't anything too objectionable here - you have a well-thought out character with an established backstory. I'm a little bit iffy about her living with her siblings instead of with her parents at such a young age - I can't actually think of any parents realistically agreeing to let their daughter move in with their brother when she's still so young. Is there a reason her parents needed to stay in Cloudsdale? Another thing I would like to recommend is this: could you maybe add a little bit more about how she might interact with other characters, not just her family? I would also recommend going through and reading over it for grammar and spelling mistakes (pretty sure she's gray, not dray ). Let me know when you've made these changes, and I'll give it another look.
