  2. Name: Star Gazer (Power Drive) Gender: Male Age: Young Stallion Species: Pegasus Eye colour: Blue Character colour: Maroon Mane/Tail/Other: Black with maroon streaks Physique: Slender with normal sized muscles Residence: Cloudsdale Occupation: Day: Flight Class Instructor / Night: Protector Cutie Mark: Nine stars spreaded out, five of them in a semi circle with a line going through each of them Unique Traits: Has metal wings instead of normal feather wings as well as scars all on his legs and blue tribal tattoos on his face History: As a young colt, Star Gazer had a loving family that extended beyond his parents; an entire tribe knew him as Star. He always did his best to help around the camp. When they moved from place to place, Star Gazer always did his part to help, even sometimes over exerting himself. He had two best friends, Merce Mayfield and Ether Dawnstrider, whom was always by his side. The three of them together always found ways to have fun, get into and out of trouble, and discovering new things whenever they came to a fresh new place. Growing up near the outskirts of the Everfree forest, he was no stranger to the beast and creatures that lurked within. Star Gazer was quiet the adventurous one as well, always going deep into the forest or other far away places and getting lost for hours at a time. At first the other members would begin to frantically look through their surrounding areas to attempt to find Star. After a while, this started to nearly become a nightly routine, and the tribe would only send three or four of their members into the forest to find him. No matter how much he was scolded by his parents or how many times he was warned about going into the forest alone, he always snuck into the forest at night. However, one night he went in, taking a few turns that he never did before and daring himself to see what he could fine. However when he got to an edge of a cliff, he became ever more curious. Trotting down the steps, the area was littered with leaves and vines, but there was something glowing in the distance. Open coming closer to the shiny object, he saw a tree that glowed brightly. He was so dazzled by the tree, he didn't notice the timberwolves that snuck up behind him. Once he realized it though, it was too late. They attempted to pounce on him, making him their next meals, but he was quick and used his wings to get out before they caught him; not without receiving a few scratches however. For the rest of that night, Star noticed that none of his tribal members had found him. He feared that he was too far in the forest for them to find him. This realization sadden him as he stopped walking and just looked up at the stars. Minutes passed as he continued to stare upward, hoping some kind of plan would come to him, but instead something else came. Star Gazer began to notice that some of the stars were brighter than others, and that the brighter stars led in a path. As he started to follow this path, keeping his eyes on the stars, he also noticed that the forest was becoming less and less dense, and before he knew it, he was out and back near the camp. Before he knew what was going on, he was greeted by his friends and family, all happy to see that he was fine. Of course his mother was the first to notice the cuts along his legs and had the tribe nurse check his wounds. There was one more thing that both his mother and father noticed on him that made them both proud; his new cutie mark. Days had passed, Star had finally told Merce and Ether what he found in the forest; about the glowing tree. There wasn't that much to tell really, except that it glowed an ominous white light; that and when he was close to it, he felt warm and happy inside. His friends were not too sure what to make of this, never before seeing such a tree. Sure, if a tree had to grow, why not in a forest; but one that glowed and made others feel good? This was something that had to of been found by more than one pony. They made a deal to sneak into the forest, as a group this time. Night fell upon the land once again as it always did and Star was already in the forest with his two friends, excitement barely contained. When the three found the tree after twists and turns in the forest, they stared at it for what seemed like hours, looking at the harmonious glow. Star and Merce felt what Star had mentioned before, but Ether didn't. In fact he felt fearful and angry, but he didn't know where those emotions came from, so he suppressed them. The three then decided to keep the tree as their little secret. Days had passed and Star had kept himself busy during the day with the tribe, but couldn't help to notice that his friend, Ether, had become more and more distant. One day he decide to confront his friend and see what was bothering him. He discovered that Ether had felt a lot of hatred towards the tree they found; and thus Star could not understand the reason behind it. Time went by as they talked that the conversation took a turn for the worst, and now hooves and blood was involved. In the end of it all, Ether walked into the forest and it was the last time he was saw, while Star lied on the ground with his wings now broken. He did not know what was going to happen to him now since he wasn't near the camp. He woke up the next day to find himself on a bed in one of the tents, and his friend right next to him, tending to his new metal wings. She explained how she found him unconscious and with the broken wings, so the doctors and nurses had to remove them and she crafted the wings he has now out of metal from the mines her parents use to work at before joining this group. Star Gazer was grateful, but sad at the same time. It took time before Star was use to the weight of his new wings and how the functioned. It was definitely touch and go for a long time, but finally after that time he mastered the art of flight once again. Years now passed since those events happened, and both Star and Merce were in their young adult years. A very strong bond had formed between the two since they kept together through their missions and new founded duties throughout the tribe. It wasn't until their last mission that they were inseparable. As they went on to scout for a new place to camp, they were ambushed by a pack of timberwolves. As valiant as they were, they were outnumbered. Star came up with a plan to split up and break the group up. Merce was reluctant to do so at first, but she finally agreed and the went different paths. When Star noticed that he took most of the heat, he smiled and took off into the air quickly, going high above the trees and see the timberwolves now confused and wondering where to go now. He was happy that his plan worked, but he couldn't see where Merce had gone to. Not only that, but he lost sight of the camp. Lost, worried, and confused; Star continued to fly around and see if he could spot anything. Unfortunately he didn't find anyone or anything that he was searching for. He did however find a city in the sky and figured he could go there and ask if anyone knew anything. Upon arriving there, he had met a few of the local residents, but to his dismay, they knew nothing of his tribe or anyone within it. They were, however, fascinated by his metal wings and wondered how he could fly with them. After an explanation, he was offered a job by another pegasus that seemed to of been in the same field as he was offered; as a Flight Class Instructor. Unsure of what to do now, and with no idea where to go from here, he accepted the job. Ever since then, he had been spending his time here, training classes of filly pegasus' on how to fly while always staring up at the sky at night, waiting and watching, wanting the stars to shine once again to show him his way back home. Character Summary/Personality: When anypony meets Star Gazer, even for the first time, they will right away notice that he is a very friendly stallion. He goes out of his way to make sure that anyone and everyone near him is safe, happy, and confident on what they're doing. This was one of the traits that also helped him land the job as the instructor, as well as keep it. He is also very protective over the denizens of Cloudsdale and the neighboring cities/towns. Due to the training he underwent when he was apart of his tribe, he is very well fitted in the ways of combat, but also knows how to subdue an opposer without harming them. It is with this talent that he feel confident knowing he can keep as many as he can safe without too much trouble. Even though the stars are not showing where his tribe is right now, he can still use them to get around easily at night, making him a perfect navigator on guiding lost ponies at night that have strayed from their homes.

  6. A double theory presentation! Theory #2: So as some of you might of read, I had posted up a theory know as 'that realization...' without knowing that it was a well talked about theory already. Thanks to Carsair providing me a link to one said forum, I had come up with a new theory in my head. First of them is how will Twilight not outlive her friends? Yet in the forum, it was stated that Twilight will not live pass her friends. Now of course a lot of ponies are joking around (or probably being serious) and saying that Twilight will die before her friends; giving up her alicorn status. I don't think that's going to happen. Instead, it seemed a lot of ponies seem to over look one little fact that comes straight from the show: Fluttershy is friends with Discord. Now what does that little fact have to do with anything with Twilight being immortal and outliving her friends? Possibly a lot. If Twilight is immortal, then that means she can not die by age(She is still capable of dying though by heavy amounts of bodily damage). With that, it is possible that Discord would not want his only friend to die either since Fluttershy is the only one who has (almost) fully trusted him. With that, he proposes a deal to make her immortal. However, while Fluttershy refused this offer a few times, being a heavy believer on the flow of life, she finally gives in and agrees, but on one condition; Discord has to make her friends immortal as well, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and Applejack. When she mentioned Twilight Sparkle's name, Discord explained to her that she already was one, and was going to selfishly outlive her and the rest, but Fluttershy didn't believe him. In that instant, Discord made her and her friends immortals as well, making it so that none of them died by the natural causes of aging. They were not sure about this decision that was just pushed onto them, but as time went by, they figured that it was alright, so long as they had each other. And thus Twilight will never outlive her friends. Theory #3: As for the third theory, what defines a immortal Alicorn? In the same forum, it seems as if it makes it that not all Alicorns are immortal, once again stating that Twilight will not live pass her friends. Now if the case is that Discord actually does not interfered with their life spans, then does that mean Twilight is not immortal? On that note, what defines one Alicorn to be immortal and one not to be? Does one have to born as an Alicorn to be immortal like Celestia and Luna? That third theory had more questions than theories, I know, but once again I want to hear you guys thoughts on these subjects, but just to make sure you understand the questions, I'll repost them again: 1) How will it be so that Twilight will not outlive her friends? 2) What defines an immortal Alicorn? Until next time, - Xan

  9. ((So this was a story that I started about three years ago that I sadly didn't continue. I figured I would share this all to you all. Now I know there are fixes that are needed here and there, and if I remember to, I'll fix it. In the meantime, enjoy!)) Book 1: Chapter 1 Prologue: "So, here is my interview with one of the characters of the story, and is one of the main good guys. Mr. Deloro, if you wouldn't mind telling people what the 'Demon Days' are all about." "Certainly. Well, the demon days is basically a holiday, and it's not just limited to demons either, so don't let the title fool you. These days bring together any and all creatures, real and 'mythical'." "Is that so? Do continue." "Well, the wise elders where the ones to thank for this holiday, thinking that all the creatures have lost touch in the ways of the old, in which there was a time of no war between any kinds of races, even between the biggest one, angels and demons. Now if you'll excuse me, I hate to cut this short, but I am the guest of honor." "Of course, be on your way." Hrou walks out. "Well people, there you have it, but the holiday isn't what you will be reading. No, this is the story that takes the events to lead up to these days, and it starts with a blood-thirsty human teenager." --- The Dark School The forest near a small town was quiet and seemingly peaceful, but of course that was in a blind minded person's eyes. The forest was actually a barrier to keep humans from entering a certain part of the inner forest, and it also kept whatever was inside that part of the forest out of the town. This barrier had been up, without anyone knowing about it, for hundreds of years. Anyone who walks to it will be teleported to the other side of it without seeing what is inside it, and if anyone inside it tries to leave, they are never heard or seen from again. Rumor has it that they will wander the forest for the rest of their days. One day, in the modern times, within the barrier, monsters roamed around, but not mindlessly. In fact, it was like a whole new place within the barrier, like a town within it. It was a town for monsters of all kinds, Werewolves, Vampires, Merlocks, Shadow Demons and all other kinds; the true monsters of the dark realm. With so many years past by without a single sight of a human, they had been believed to be fabled and made up; the humans, not the monsters. This seemed to be so true until one day, something happened. --The Arrival-- Two werewolf children were playing around in the outskirts of their town, laughing and having fun. It wasn't long before they caught a glimpse of a town guard and hid away, now afraid that they would be caught. One of the two peeked over the bush and growled. "Why do they have to always stand there... are they hiding something?" He asked, actually being curious more than anything else, he just hated that someone was keeping something from him. The second werewolf sighed at his friend's complaining. "Look, some things are not meant for us to find out and apparently this is one of them." He said to him and continued. "Now come on before we're--" He was cut off be the first werewolf's wondering shout. "Braz, who or what is that?!" He said loudly, then covered his mouth as the orc guard turned around to see where the noise came from, but he too caught a glimpse of the mysterious creature and raised up his weapon. "Stop right there!" The orc said with power in his voice. The creature stopped as told and looked straight ahead with it's very dark blue eyes that nearly looked black. The orc tilted his head as he tried to figure out what this thing was, with it being smaller than he was, he figured he was either young, teen years or just small in nature. "Now then, either turn around... or prepare to--" As he tried to finish his sentence, it was finished for him. "Die?" The creature asked, but grinned as he did. The orc snorted and shoved the creature back with the shaft of his axe. "Now be gone!... but... before you go... what are you so that I may keep a look out for others like you." The orc asked it, though didn't think it was anything significant, probably an elf he thought due to it's looks, the only think missing was the elf's pointy ears. The creature didn't answer right away, which made the orc bare his fangs at it. The creature finally grinned once more when he saw he was making the orc mad. "It's funny... you're not the only one to ask me that today, and yet I haven't told anyone else... so why should I break that now and tell you?" The creature asked with a careless tone that seemed rather chilling. Brazken watched this go on and shook his head at the weird creature that seemed to love making people mad. "It's going to get itself killed if it keeps this up, Kemcora." He told his friend who was too watching with a grin of his own. "Good! Finally we'll get to see that guard do something." He said with excitement, but then got elbowed in the side as Brazken was disappointed in him. The orc now had the blade of his axe near the creature's throat, but that didn't make it lose it's grin. "Fine, fine... you pose as a threat, so I guess I'll open up to you." It say in defense without make himself sound weak. "So... you wanna know what I am? Shouldn't you know though? In stories, your kind and all the other monsters in here use to hunt us, pillage our towns and all that." It said to the orc guard who was now becoming very curious... and offended. "Now listen here! Our town folk are very civilized, we have never destroyed another town... but then again, anyone who travels beyond this point is never seen again." The orc explained to the creature. The werewolves overheard that part and looked at each other, they had no idea. The creature looked beyond the guard, then back at him. "Interesting... alright, you spilt the beans first, so I'll be fair and finally tell you." The creature said as a cloud moved over the sun to block it for a moment, then the sunshine made it's white skin look slightly brighter, for only the parts that were exposed while the rest is clothed in pure black. it's hair was only on top of it's head and no where else, like other 'monsters' here, and pitch black as well. "I... am a human." The boy finally said, and when he did, everything around them went silent and anything with a beating heart felt as though their hearts stopped beating. The two werewolves slowly turned their heads to look at the teenaged human with complete disbelief of what they just heard. "He's... a... a what?" The orc stared at the boy, disbelieving this himself, but soon he laughed loudly in a deep voice that seemed it could shake the ground they stood on. "Human?! Is this a joke? I know what you are, you're one of those stupid shape shifters who got their hands on a good book about mythical creatures and decided to play a prank on everyone else." He said, still a grin on his face, but that soon disappeared as he looked serious once more. "Now, that was for a good laugh... but if you come back here again... I won't hesitate to kill you. Now leave!" He demanded the boy, and the teen boy did as told as he turned around and walked down the hillside. Just before the boy got down into the town once more, the two werewolves, Kemcora and Brazken, grabbed him while they were running and hid him behind some trees before someone saw him. "Gutsy, aren't you? What's your name, by the way?" Kemcora asked with a big grin on his face. The boy smiled back as he saw that the werewolf liked how he did things. "The name's Jackal." He told them both, just in case the other werewolf would of cared at all. Brazken rolled his eyes and looked at Jackal. "Alright you, listen, I don't know what you're trying to pull with the whole 'human' thing, but that was rather stupid if you ask me." Braz said, giving his two cents on the matter. Jackal looked at the two with calm eyes before giving his grin again. "So, you two don't believe as well... not surprising since you two are younger than the others I've talked to, but it's still hard to believe since your kind use to hunt and kill us, and in vise versa." Jackal explained to them in a creepy voice. It made Braz shiver some, but Kemcora chuckled at him. "Well, wither you are or not, doesn't matter now. Look Jackal, we could use another type of species in our school, but before I even dream of considering you of going there, you must prove yourself." He told him and kept a maniacal grin on his face. Braz was just about to hit him to make him cut it out, but Jackal spoke up once more. "Is that so? Well then, what must I do?" At this point, Brazken was getting a little tired of the both of them and thought of something insane, but what he didn't mean to do was tell him what it was. "Why don't you go and beat up that orc guard." He told him. Kemcora looked at him like this was someone else speaking. When Braz finally realized what he had just done, it was too late, Jackal, in full speed, had already gone to do it. "What have I done..?" Brazken asked in a soft-spoken and shocked tone. Later that same evening, the two werewolves got to where the orc was and smelt blood. "Oh god, what have I done..?" Brazken said in ashamement, but Kemcora just looked at him. "Yep, you did this... now his death is on your head." He told him, which didn't make Braz feel any better, if anything that got him angry, but he left it inside him for now. They both looked over the edge, and what the saw shocked them both to no extent. Instead of seeing Jackal's body there, they both saw the orc's body lying there, bloodied up and practically cut all to pieces. "I knew it! That wasn't a human at all!" Brazken said, now starting to fear for his own life. "Come on, let's go before that thing comes--" He started to tell Kemcora, but Kemcora pointed his finger out as someone or something started to stand up. "Look!" He shouted out without meaning to. Braz looked with wide, fearful eyes as whatever stood up was seemingly covered in blood. "Its... him... he's... he's a BLOOD DEMON!!!" They both screamed and ran as fast as their paws could take them back towards the town. "Blood demon!" Was all could be heard from them as they ran. Jackal smirked as the two ran, loving the feeling he gets when other run from him and so he figured he would go into the town as well to see howelse he could scare. "Blood demon, huh?" He said to himself and chuckled softly. "I like the sound of that." End of Chapter
  10. So some of you may know that DerpyHoovesFan had posted a story on his page. What you may not know is that this story has now evolved into a collab story between him and I. I think it'll be a lot of fun to do, I really hope it will be. Anyways, it will be chapter based, so I'll start on chapter two when I get the time to and post it onto my own blog. Keep an eye out for that! - Xan
  11. So I don't really know what this about... apparently this is coming and going... something call sanity... I don't know. Anyways, this is a count more than anything else. Once the level reaches high, a new roleplay will commence. Fun for everypony! Think of it this way, the more stressed out I become because of... whatever, my insanity level shall rise. Such a trade off, right?! Well, keep checking back to know what's going on with the level and perhaps soon I'll invade the forums once again with another innovative rp. In the meantime, have fun! Goodbye! - XaN
  12. I see you point there Ravener, and I read the post on the forum Carsair, valid points, all of them. However, the forum made me think. What defines an immortal alicorn? Is Twilight immoral or not? If not, is it because she became an alicorn and not born one like Celetsia and Luna? I'm actually going to post theory #2 very soon on the "What if she is indeed immortal."
  13. So, I was thinking: Twilight has been a alicorn for a while now, correct? I'm just going to bust it out now; she's going to be living a very miserable life. Why do I say that, you ask? Think about it. Just like Celestia and Luna, she's going to live forever (or a very long time at least) and she's going to watch her friends grow up, grow old, and die; yet she will still be alive and well. Now I know what you're thinking at this point; Xan, that's terrible to think of. It is, it really is, but it's true. I wonder, did Celestia and/or Luna have any close friends growing up, or did they know at a young age that it was their fate to watch the ponies of Equestira grow and change and die? To watch the world grow and change, never to be the same as it once was. When it gets late, I think of this stuff all the time; the bad side of everything. Of course Twilight could always make new friends, but those will grow up and pass away as well in time(Hopefully due to old age and not by another incident). These are my thoughts, leave me a comment on what you all think. - Xan
  14. That'd be interesting to see how that would play out. Hm, perhaps I have a new premise project to work on now.
  15. Go ahead. It's... 'dead' on my side, but if you want to pick up some of the remains, go for it.
  16. Already on it. It makes me sad too... if only I had the time. However, if something new pops into my head that I think is rp worthy, could I possibly call upon you to be in it Ravener?
  17. Greetings Denizens of Canterlot! It has been a while since I've wrote anything towards you all. As you may know, I'm still going forth as a rper, both one that joins in the story and one that creates stories. Yet as of late, I have been on a stand still towards my own stories, and sadly Skyward Pirates had to of been stopped without warning. With work being in the way along with other matters, I could no longer continue with bringing in new elements to the rp, and thus could no longer keep my own interest. (Sorry guys, it was fun while it lasted!) So here I am, bouncing around and looking a different threads, bidding my time. I always think though, what will be next; what shall I do? Well, till that answer comes... HQ, drop the Titan now! *Electronic voice: Titan Fall commenced.* *A giant robot falls from the sky and lands behind me* See you all on the battlefield. *Enters the robotic suit as the front hatch closes and the robot stands up*

  20. Woot, new picture of Discord, Luna, and an Hinouma(Fire Horse) on my 'about me'.

  21. "So, I may of messed up big time, but it was all in good fun... for me at least. Though apparently, Fluttershy's friends didn't like the idea of having to find the pieces of her and putting her back together. At least she's still alive. Heheheh. Aw well, fun is fun while it last, but I was to be banished; instead of being turned to stone, I found myself in quiet a twisted universe. I had no idea that this place even existed, and to be honest, I don't think Celestia, Luna, and Twilight had planned to send me here. The look on Twilight's face before I ended up here kind of confirmed that. So here I am, in quite a strange world. With the little time I've been here, I've noticed that greed, destruction, and deceit grows strong. I should be loving it here, yet I feel odd. There's just something more to this all than what I'm seeing. I can't quiet put my finger on it, but it's like there's more than just this world too. I've also come to find out that I've changed in my looks; not too drastically, but I look more... feral. Where to begin, who do I talk to... and those bipedal creatures look really weird. No fur or hair except for on top of their heads; and they look ready for war. Perhaps I'll start there..." ----------------- Discord has found himself in the multiverse with little to no knowledge of what's going on. He still has all his powers at his claw tips. Will he use his powers to help or hurt this dimension; or will the lands of magic change him forever into the worst. Meanwhile, Twilight and her friends as well as Luna and Celestia will do all they can to get Discord back. Despite what has happened, they can not leave him in such an unknown place. His presence is at least needed on Equestira. However, there will be major debates wither this is a good idea or not as hurt feelings will be in the air; even from Fluttershy. ----------------- Requirements: Slight knowledge of the card game: Magic the Gathering -----------------
