What was your favourite part of the season?My favourite parts? Tough call. Trixie's comeback was expected, and I thought I'd hate it, but when she challenged Luna to a dance battle? I was jumping for joy!Also the beach episode. Yeah, it was kinda fanservicey (Rarity's swimsuit... oh my... ) But the Crusaders' battle against Poseidon was a fantastic piece of animation.Best song goes to the duet between Celestia and Iron Will. But then again, it IS a kid's show, so the good guys gotta win.Speaking of fanservice, the best bit was a tie between seeing Smarty Pants in Big Mac's saddlebag during that AJ episode (which was even better because of her song), or seeing Derpy delivering a box of muffins baked fresh at Sugarcube Corner.Nothing beats the episode where Discord took on pony form to trick Twilight onto a blind date though. My sides hurt from laughing so hard at that one.But before I go, I have to say, didn't shed any manly tears at that duet. I think Iron Will hammed it up a little too much. BTW, anyone see Berry Punch's saddlebag at 04:26 in Episode 3? That's gotta be a bottle of wine! Still can't get Celestia's face when Pinkie ruined the Shim Sham Sisters' double dates with that silly orchestra bit out of my head. Vinyl's aughta get a new flute soon. I know it should be the death battle between the dictionary versus the chicken, but I'm going to have to go with that one part where Derpy bucked the falling mail package to save Celestia, whom she sent a letter to afterwards and was escorted home by the Doctor when all was said and done. I'd never expect a children's show to pull off such a serious storyline; just imagine all the nightmares the target audience will have for the enxt month. I also commend the staff for being able to get R. Kerman to do a role on the show! When he said "I wonder who the real ponies are...", I almost DIED from the fanservice! Risque, but a good reference! I'd always hoped they'd show the Pincesses' parents, and Faust being the mother was perfect. I also loved how they introduced her. First appearance is curb-stomping Discord's daughter into the dirt?
