Celestia had no intention to stand on ceremony for her well deserved vacation. It wasn't often that she could get away from the castle and her responsibilities, she even made it a point to leave her crown and all her royal regalia back at the small room she was staying in. Despite this she was sure to have a few ponies refuse to forego the usual pleasantries that she was usually afforded in Canterlot or any official (or even unofficial) meetings. However the first pony to approach her made no such effort. The young mare in the scarf seemed rather excited to meet the Princess of the Sun, even her body language was excited with her wings opening with a burst almost like she was ready to fly. She even made a point to compliment Celestia and her sunrises. "The pleasure is mine." As Celestia shook the mare's extended hoof "And I thank you for your kind words, but I cannot say that what I do every morning is as artistic as painting. The sun is a thing of beauty itself and does not need my help to shine and paint the sky every morning. In a way, the Sun is the artist, and I am it's humble assistant." Celestia replied humbly to the mare's compliments. She was the Sun's guide, and just as she cannot take credit for another pony's achievements, she cannot take away from the majestic beauty of the sun. It would be akin to saying the gorgeous landscape before them was her doing because she allowed it to be. There was another pegasus as well, whom barely made a sound towards Celestia. All she could make out was an "Ah" and some whispers to the mare that had just greeted her. Celestia was used to this, but she had hoped that the country air would have relaxed her and those around her to allow everypony to at least talk with some ease to her. She supposed that some were just naturally nervous around royalty, something that she could understand. There were still ponies in Canterlot who would clam up upon her mere passing, let alone talking to any pony. Celestia let out a chuckle at Harvest Moon's thought process. "I assure you miss Harvest Moon, had you done something wrong, I would not be shy in letting you know" Celestia said with a wink, clearly being a bit sarcastic with the "miss" bit. She wasn't sure what to call the mare, however she figured 'Harvest' would do for the time being though. And if she preferred another name Celestia hoped she wouldn't be shy to let her know. Though there was always the chance that some ponies would consider correcting a princess a grave faux pas. "I've left my crown behind, and so, for now, I'm not a princess, just a mare on vacation. Of course if anypony is more comfortable calling me a princess, I would not impose to tell them what to call me by." Celestia said with a smile. "It is nice to meet you as well..." Celestia trailed off unsure of what to call this newest pony to greet her. She was happy though, most ponies around her were at least comfortable enough to know that she too was on vacation and not acting as a princess. Even royalty needs time off from being royalty after all.

Celestia always seemed to attract attention where ever she went. She had only briefly been there and had already garnered the attention of almost the entire line. Celestia wished she could greet everypony and talk with them as well, but she knew it wouldn't be so easy, especially with those further ahead. After all, this was Applejack's time, she didn't want to distract from the farm mare and disrupt sales. Celestia smiled "It is quite alright; there is no need to apologize for being nervous." Celestia tried to comfort the already nervous painter. "Kiss apples?" Celestia gave a chuckle. "I am here to buy some apples the same as you, only my reasons are slightly different from yours." Celestia explained to Presteza. "And I do believe the kissing part of the sign is to kiss Applejack when you buy a bushel, not the apples themselves." Celestia saw that Blueblood was trying to do with Presteza. Celestia had originally joined the line to get Blueblood to lighten up and relax, and it seemed he was to a point. However, he was still being elitist, which Celestia hoped he would be less so after this, seeing everypony as equal. With the line about the apple farmer Celestia decided needing addressing. She looked at Blueblood rather sternly and rather embarrass him directly she opted to whisper a light chide in his ear. "You speak like there is something wrong with apple farmers, or farmers in general. Always remember that without farmers you would starve as well, my nephew." However that left Presteza who seemed to be put off, and in the interest of getting her a bit more relaxed Celestia thought of a way to either embarrass her or get her to laugh at herself. She smiled "However, if that is what Miss Presteza would like I think I might be able to do something to accommodate her." Celestia wasn't planning on kissing any pony, after all, it was Applejack giving the kisses, not the other way around, so Celestia puckered her lips and leaned over towards Presteza. She moved in slowly making it seem like she was going to kiss her, and instead of kissing she blew into her ear. Celestia's fun was interrupted by another greeting. Celestia bowed her head to the orange maned pony. "Hello to you as well. I do not believe we have met before." Celestia said with a warm inviting smile. Applejack yelled over the line to greet Celestia. Not wishing to disrupt anything more, Celestia gave a nod of acknowledgement to the greeting and the instruction to stay where she was in line. After all, it would be rude to use her status to move forward in the line. Celestia knew full well she could, even if she merely asked the ponies ahead of her to allow her to move ahead of them. However that would only serve to disprove to her nephew that status can get you what you want. This was not the point of the excursion to Sweet Apple Acres after all. It was almost like Applejack knew her alternative purpose for coming to her apple sale with her nephew.

On point two, if that is the case stating that ALL of the Calliopes in Equestria are in her basement is misleading. If she read about them in a book, it would be logical to assume that there are others out there and other ponies who play them. On point three... The gala was a week longer than events usually are.

Celestia, unlike her nephew, wasn't one to yearn for attention, she just got it whether she wanted it or not. After a thousand years of rule and bringing the day and night, it was probably a natural side effect, however attention was tiring and she enjoyed it more if ponies just treated her as any other pony. It was no matter here though, she knew that AJ and the other Element of Harmony holders, except for Rarity, treated her more like a friend than a ruler, usually. This was especially true of Applejack, and hopefully Prince Blueblood would learn something from this experience, at least that was what she hoped. As she whispered in Blueblood's ear a tan pony took notice of her much to Blueblood's chagrin. Celestia chuckled at the rather obviously nervous pony. "Of course I wish to know your name. Everypony is important after all. It is a pleasure to meet you Presteza." Celestia replied with a bow of her head to respond to Presteza's full bow. "You needn't be nervous around me, please relax. I'm certain we are here for a similar reason after all." Celestia said warmly with a smile. Celestia didn't like it when ponies were nervous around her, they never needed to be. She wasn't going to throw them in prison, or banish them or throw them in a prison in the place she banished them to. It was a ludicrous thought. The last time she banished anyone was a means of last resort 1000 years ago. It was then her dear nephew made a bit of a jest at the expense of Presteza's nervousness. He followed that up with a whisper which Celestia couldn't quite hear. However she paid it no mind, after all if anything this might be a good way to break the ice and get Presteza to be less nervous around her. After all a good joke was fun for everypony. She awaited Presteza's eventual response. She wouldn't kiss her, probably... Unless it would get a fun reaction from the overly nervous mare. Celestia had a slightly mischievous smirk on her face now, and she did her best to hide it.

Celestia is there to just mess with blueblood. Though I'm sure she won't mind kissing AJ to help the farm.

After the debacle with her nephew at the Grand Galloping Gala Celesia chided Blueblood for his less than princely attitude. She had figured it was due to his spoiled nature, and had sent him off to see how the other side lived. Something Celestia did in the past and continues to do. It is difficult to be a dignitary or a leader without knowing the issues that affect everypony big and small. Word had made it to Canterlot that Applejack was holding an apple sale at Sweet Apple Acres, and Celestia offhandedly commented about it to Blueblood, suggesting he make the trip there and support the pony that he had insulted previously. Celestia might have 'forgotten' to tell her dear nephew the nature of the sale, which was that it was also a kissing booth. When Prince Blueblood set off in the chariot, Celestia followed, trying to make sure she wasn't noticed. Celestia heard his "oh, no" and smirked. She didn't plan this to be mean, on the contrary. She felt it would be a great lesson for her social elitist nephew. Celestia walked up as quietly as she could to whisper into Blueblood's ear, "I believe you are getting into line to buy a bushel of apples and a kiss from Applejack, my dear nephew." Celestia after whispering that took a step back and stood tall. While she was here, she might as well help the farm and the land she gave to the Granny Smith's parents. The Apple's were honest and hard working, not to mention some of the best bakers she knew. There was a reason she chose Applejack to cater the wedding of Shining Armour and Princess Cadence.

Music: 7/10 Not a huge fan of those vocals. The instrumental was alright. But I tend to prefer melodic metal rather than what sounded to be Metalcore Video: 4/10 Knew what they were going for, didn't do anything for me

She might not have any advice to give. There is such a saturation of ask blogs she might find the very idea of ask blogs at this point uninteresting. That is the point I'm at anyway. However don't let that deter you from making what you want.

What Armony says is true. Try this. Click on Notifications (regardless if you have any or not). You should have a drop down that says "View all notifications" and "Options." Here is how it works: Rate the video above you and then post a new one. Rate BOTH the VIDEO and the SONG (IE: Song: 10/10 fantastic song Video: 1/10 It was just the guy standing there and singing... Vevo, band sites, official band/record label Youtube channels. There are plenty. I've listened to them a bit. They are a good band, certainly one I used to listen to regularly (and one I still won't turn off if they come on my internet radio). That said Crash into Me has special meaning to me since Crash was my first CD I owned of them. However I'm not sure if I have a definitive "favorite." My musical preferences swing wildly depending on my mood, and none of the songs really hold any great feeling or significance to me that I can definitely say "Yes this song is my favorite song." That said starting a thread about a specific band is kinda pushing it unless you know the userbase would have a large fanbase for the artist for whatever reason. It would be more wise to open threads that are more general.

Celestia always made it a point to attend special events and parties. The REA Ball was no different, in fact it was possibly even more important than the others. It was a time to celebrate and enjoy time with those whom would do anything for her kingdom and people. She couldn't just show her face and be a statue like she did at other events, just being someone everypony would greet. Nay, she felt determined to actually interact and enjoy the time with the REA and the other various guests. Naturally though she had to keep up at least some appearances, but that wouldn't mean there wouldn't be some time for fun, and by that token she intended to at least let loose a bit. She was running extremely late however. She had a busy day and finding time to make an appearance had been difficult, she wasn't even sure that she would have been able to make it. She had to at least visit the Foyer for pictures to be taken. Celestia walked in with her head held high, as though she was exactly on time, or at the very least entering exactly when she had planned to. Though it wasn't a normal appearance as she never discussed her appearance with the REA representatives. "Greetings everypony, I hear that this is where photos are being taken for the Army Ball" Celestia said with an air of grace. She noticed several of her brave soldiers were already there, including Shining Armor and other high ranking officials. "Where can I get my picture taken?"
