New album, 'cause he didn't really fit into the other two! Haven't actually watched any of the new season yet, but I watched the 'Bronies React' video to the season 5 opening episodes, and fell in love with this guy's design. Wish I could say the same for his voice…but as pictures don't talk, Double Diamond it is! Drawn entirely in Photoshop, about an hour and a half of time. Edit: Forgot to mention that I used a vector of his cutie mark from somewhere, don't remember where. Didn't draw it myself.- 11 comments

Man, I wish this is what happened when I get carried away with a doodle. Mostly the doodle just turns into more incomprehensible scribbles. I really love how you paint the background objects and scenery in these types of pictures. I can see the paintbrush spots of color where the lighting goes from darker to lighter for the light source, and the spots/bubbles create a really neat effect effect, almost ethereal in nature. *slowly creeps in line after Dio* -

A quick and simple animation - click on the picture and scroll a bit to start it up. Huh. Wonder whose foal that is? Guess I'm just in a foal drawing mood or something, though I can't imagine Inkbrand being this tolerant of a shrieking foal unless he really adores them. Or they're just too cute for him to get annoyed at. I also need practice drawing pony faces from the front, it's a pretty difficult perspective for me to draw. In fact, I can't remember off the top of my head how many pictures in my gallery feature a pony drawn from the front perspective. Like…maybe one other, if that?- 3 comments

With a thread filled with small ponies and griffons, a few cute ones are to be expected. But both Inkbrand and myself think the most adorable foal in Foals at Heart, by far, is an age-reduced Applejack. I know I said five characters is a lot, but…yeah, pretty sure I'm going to be apping this little guy soon. Because everyone needs a foal/child on their character roster, right? Currently unnamed, though I've made a few overtures towards his personality. If there's anyone who's looking to have a colt in their pony family, let me know. More fun to add him to an existing family than app his entire family from scratch, methinks. -

New animation, the most complicated one I've done. Smaller size, so the gif actually works in the gallery without someone having to click on it first~ I think this ended up at about twenty frames or so? Still really simple in terms of animating, but more difficult for me to try and draw the frames for smooth transitions. Maybe next time I'll be able to figure out how to move different parts, like hair and accessories.- 7 comments

Holy crap. I didn't recognize this thumbnail as yours, not until I clicked on the picture and got a better look. Your art has gotten seriously amazing - the hair especially, with the details on the individual strands and the highlights. Even looking back at your last picture in this gallery I'm just amazed. I seriously hope you're getting paid for this kind of art. -

Thats one of the nicest comments I've gotten on a gallery upload, thank you Eris! I think the fact that I generally use broad and undefined strokes in these speed paintings gives them a softer…fluffier?…look. And yeah, I definitely don't do much with backgrounds, but these will hopefully help me in the future. *plots on what to speed paint next* -
Uh. Sugar Star is the one laying her hooves all up on Inkbrand here, not the other way 'round. Can I also just repeat how much I seriously love August? And can I state how much I love how you drew August here? I don't know why, but that straight foreleg, like he's trying to bat away Sugar Star the same way someone might try to wave away a fly, just makes me smile. Awesome RP scene here! -

Wow. I'm not really a fan of the basic Equestria Girls base (why are their legs so long skdjfnsdf), but this is a really awesome picture, very clean and smooth. Love your character's EG design. And those overalls are cute as. -

I'm not refuting this in the slightest, but I'm curious why this picture makes you say that? It was kind of funny, considering that Inkbrand was fantasizing about picking up foreign babes right before this happened. I imagine they shared much the same drooling expression.

I have trouble believing this is your first pony drawing. The anatomy is really good for a first time, plus the lines and coloring are super neat and clean. Especially love the way the wings twist, they really give the picture motion. -

The sketch for this picture has been sitting around my folders for a while, randomly decided to finish it today to hopefully spark some more inspiration to draw. Another really messy speed draw and color, maybe two hours or so of work. Bit of RP behind this picture, but it basically consists of a character fantasizing about traveling with Inkbrand to a hot springs and getting invited to share his tub and/or bathing area. I've always actually wondered about how ponies treat bathing with the opposite gender - they go around naked all the time anyways, so it's not like there's anything to be embarrassed about, I guess?- 13 comments

Haven't seen any of the new season yet, but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy this. I may have said this before, but I seriously love your new shading style with no lineart and soft CG shading. Everything about the pancakes looks so soft and fluffy, and the wings are shaded beautifully. Also, I had no idea a ponys eyes could get so amazingly large. Learn something new every day! -
Thats why I have to wait before putting a design up for adoption, gotta make sure I actually don't want to keep the character. Otherwise I end up kicking myself when I get so many ideas for the character after Ive given them away, heh. -

Another random OC design, this time a Pegasus. Kind of used the standard "nighttime pony" color scheme…BUT HEY. IT'S PRETTY M'KAY. Also randomly used slimmer legs, rather than the way I usually draw legs - i.e., thinner up top and wider at the hoof. I think the slim hooves have a rather elegant and more feminine look, but at the same time I like the wider hoof because it's closer to show design. Anyways, yup. Random OC, though one I don't think I'm going to app, too many characters already. Might put her design up for adoption later on.- 9 comments

I was hoping you guys would recognize it, and glad you like it! Not sure about the two of you, but I picture the water glowing due to the surrounding crystals (which aren't really drawn here because ksdflasdfs). I think it gives it a pretty but almost eerie effect, perfect for three characters freaking out over their fall! Nope, speedpaint for me because I sped through it. Didn't take time to paint to the fullest of my abilities, just kind of shimmied over details. I might try something similar to this in the future as a full picture, but for now, speed painting is a pretty good way to get a sense of drawing, in my opinion. Don't focus on the details, just draw the general shapes. -

It's customary of me to draw a piece of art for the logs of my characters (which you can view here if you'd like), but I've never really posted them in my gallery. I decided to go ahead and condense all the art into one upload, rather than upload them separately. Five characters may not be a lot to some people, but two of them have yet to be used, and aside from Inkbrand, only one other has gotten any sort of development, minuscule though it may be. Five is plenty for me, though a child/foal OC may be coming. 'Cause I don't have one. And everyone needs a child on their roster, m'kay.- 6 comments
