Mail back! Mail...back, oh dear had she messed up? She dug into the letter, opening it up a bit nervously. Oh, drat, it was the match she had the least certianty in. A quick read-through, and Matchie nearly chipped her desk with her horn for hitting her forehead against it. She'd been so busy getting wrapped up in actually making the match and being nervous about the date itself that she'd made a few errors - bone-headed errors at that. Oh dear oh dear oh dear, at least she had a letter-recall spell. A few quick edits on Pathfinder's letter, she might not be the wiser, and a revised copy went back to Snowfall.

I'm a pretty big guy from working in the fields of my Maple Tree orchard. Kinda stocky one might say, but certainly big and muscly.

I'm a happy-go-lucky stallion, who might go a little over the top sometimes in the search for fun. I'll talk to anyone and help them with their problems. Sometimes I can be a little hard headed, and maybe a little dumb, but I'm a nice guy!

What things in life are important to you?

Inkblot read the note over quietly, floating just above the ground in his office. A hypogryph? What an amazing outcome. He had only met or two of this species prior. And Storm Feather was such a nice name! Surely, he though, this was the one who had hoped to meet.

Riddle would have lied if he said he wasn't excited when he got his letter back. He didn't get much mail in the first place, so when the mail pony delivered this, he knew practically immediately what it was. Without wasting much time, he tore into the envelope...

How would you describe yourself, physically?

About average height, maybe a mite taller than the average stallion. Definitely on the stockier side than most stallions my age. Green coat, with a light peach colour around me hooves and the paint on me flank. Me mane's grey, and always has been...doesn't mean I'm that old just yet. A little unkempt in the mane and tail department, but with my line of work, any styling wouldn't hold up.

How would you describe your personality?

Boisterous, in a way. I like to sing, laugh, make others laugh, and just generally have a good time. Comes with the job...gotta keep my customers happy and coming back, after all! There's very little in this world that'll get me down, and I'm almost always chuckling or enjoying myself. I'm also a bit on the teasing side...expect playful little verbal jabs once in a while, though nothing serious nor truly mean.

What things in life are important to you?

Family. You gotta stick up for your family, keep them close, and keep loyal to them. I also like to travel. Even I'll close the pub down once in a while to go for a vacation..Equestria's a beautiful place, and there's a lot to see. In the end, I guess the most important thing is to make sure that, at the end of it all, there's been no real regrets. I also like some small things too, like music, books, the occasional discussion about what's going on in the world.

What's your idea of the ideal first date?

Something lower key. A good chance to get to know the other pony, without letting any pomp or flashiness get in the way. I'd rather know exactly what I'm getting into. Doesn't mean there can't be anything fun, though. Anything from a trip to a Wonderbolts show to a casual stroll along the streets, or just even lunch somewhere would be fine.

What are you looking for?

A mare that doesn't mind all that much that I'm stuck with the pub most of the time, and doesn't mind settling down a little. Oh, sure, I'll get off me flank and go on an adventure, but I've got a busy bar to run, and I want to make my father proud...after all, he's expecting an heir for the family business, and I'm getting older. I'm not that picky though...if you find a mare that you think would work, and she happens to be somepony that lives off excitement, I may see how it goes. Ya never know.

I mentioned many times I work at a pub. It's The Prancing Pony in Fillydelphia, near the docks. Welp, gotta say I'm pretty gorgeous. Seriously. Got me a smooth, eye pleasing lavender coat, a long and lustrous

glamorous midnight blue mane that I wear so well. I'm tall, I keep in good shape and I dress well. I also have a seriously

gorgeous smile, and intense medium brown eyes that are oh so lovely. I'd say wings are one of my best features

They're large, elegant and powerful. I get regular hooficures and keep myself well groomed, at least when I'm not

partying too much. Ooh, and my tail, it's really long and soft and pretty too. All in all, I'm the sort of mare that will get heart's racing.

How would you describe your personality?

I'm awesome. Seriously. Think you'll find a pony who can party longer, harder and better than me? I'd like to see

somepony try! I know all sorts of stuff too, because I'm not afraid to try things. I'll try everything at least once. If

it sucks or its boring I just won't do it again. I'm good with others too. Seriously, even the most tight-lipped pony

who sits at my table when I deal will be yapping their gums off by the time we're through; that is if they're not too

What things in life are important to you?

Having fun! Simple as that. As long as I'm having fun, none of the other stuff matters. Fun for me usually includes

some manner of games or partying. Drinks, good food, good music all help bring the good time. Ooh, and I love ponies.

You know, like meeting new ponies. I mean, as long as they're interesting. I keep a written record of all the interesting

ponies I meet and it's awesome. But yeah, pretty much as long as something's fun, I like it. And if it's boring, sad, stupid,

You mean like ideal ideal? Well... it wouldn't just be a date, It would be an event! Well, if my date wants to show me

off with some morning cloud surfing, spend the day playing games at the casino, the evening maybe we'd catch a fun show,

I'm fairly fit, a showmare must keep her figure, after all. I have light green eyes and a similarly light pink coat. My mane is a lovely lilac and kept in proper condition. I'm a little taller than the average mare, but only a little.

I tend to be very hospitable and elegant, as one would expect from any singer worth their salt. As such, I'm much more bold on the stage and in the company of others than I am alone. However, my natural personality is more reserved, less flashy than when I need to keep up appearances. Not by much, since my stage persona is only an enhancement of already-present traits, but it will be more timid in private.

What things in life are important to you?

Music. Music is my life and soul, if I were to be a bit dramatic. Even so, my music is a very important part of my life as it is both my passion and my livelihood. I suppose I'm lucky, since not everypony gets to work at their passion, but I digress. In addition to music, I do value integrity and a lack of superficiality in others. Perhaps I've been exposed to too much of the opposite in the music business, but I find those to be the most important of traits.

Hmm...this one's tricky. Fancy or not, I'd probably prefer a more relaxed atmosphere. Certainly not anywhere crowded or particularly loud. Just a way to get to know them, probably over dinner or at a performance of some kind

I have a dark purple coat, and a green mane. I am quite tall, and have a large wing span. My eyes are a dark lilac colour. I am relatively thin, but I am told to be a lot stronger than I look. Working in the Vineyards has made me fit as a fiddle.

I am a hard worker. I am rather quiet, and am told I tend to appear rather stoic. Please don't let this put you off though. I am very friendly once you get to know me!

What things in life are important to you?

Nothing is as important to me as my family. I also take my work very seriously, as it keeps hay on the table. Seeing customers happy is also a very wonderful thing to me.

A nice, informal day out to unwind would be nice. Nothing too fancy though. Sitting down to lunch to get to know each other would also be a fantastico afternoon and (wings permitting of course), a nice fly around to burn those callories off.

How would you describe yourself, physically?

I am white with a blonde mane and tail. I don't pay them much mind, usually... I like to let my hair grow out a little bit. I am a bit smaller than the average mare... That isn't my fault, of course and I make up for it in smarts and speed. I am still strong enough to provide for myself, at least! Farm work is a bit tough...

How would you describe your personality?

I have been told I am too shy... I agree. I like to keep quiet and stay out of things, really. Fighting and arguments scare me. My parents always taught me to keep quiet when I have nothing nice to say and to avoid fighting no matter what. I think I've done a pretty good job of it so far.

What things in life are important to you?

I like to have fun... but I like it more when other ponies have fun. I like to make ponies happy because, honestly, what is better than a big smile? My parents are also very important to me. We had a very close bond when I was growing up working with them. I love my garden, farm, and little pottery shop so much, too!

What's your idea of the ideal first date?

I'd like to go somewhere... nice. A place with a bit of nature in it would be fine. Maybe a park or something? I'd prefer if it were a slightly more private place, though...

What are you looking for?

I want to meet somepony that can show me the world and still always be there for me. I want to be able to look into his eyes and know he cares for me. I don't want to be left behind and alone.

My ship, my crew, and freedom from being under someone else's hoof, and the freedom of the open seas, although I am quite fond of luxury fabrics from far off shores as well. And cupcakes are pretty swell too. But keep in mind I'm a pretty sincere stallion, and while it's OK that my crew sasses me and gets sarcastic from time to time, it' ain't my scene. I yam who I yam, and stayin' true to myself is important to me.

What's your idea of the ideal first date?

I'd say that having my own marvelous flying ship, racing through the clouds or waves over a phosphorescent sea would be ideal, but Asteria tells me she refuses to play chauffeur while I play smoochyface below deck, so there goes that deal.
